Called and called and called, then resulted to visiting in store twice. From November till February (when time forced us to give up) I was given the same promise and lie every time - “I’ll get someone to call you back for a site inspection, been very busy, management was away”. We needed them for a commercial project, now it’s a last minute job. Find someone else! We gave 20k to their competition in cairns who sorted it straight away

I honestly wish I had never gone to Air Sound and Vision to begin with. Disgusting workmanship and they have no issues with lying straight to your face. I would not recommend them if they were the last place on earth. I had them fit a new stereo to my car and when I went to pick it up they told me QUOTE "Whoever previously installed the previous sterio had wired in incorrectly and that my sub woofer was not working at all" UNQUOTE. I explained that it was working fine before I took it into them, but they insisted it wasn't and then they told me that if I re-booked my car in again that they could fix it, as they never had time to do it while they were fitting the new sterio. So I re-booked and took it back in to them the following week. I then also asked them to fit a reverse camera while it was there. When I went in to pick it up again they informed me that the reason the sub woofer wasn't working was because "their own" installer had wired it up incorrectly in the first place and that if they had've looked properly the first time that they could have done it while the car was previously there. Then a couple of days later as I was driving down the road a major part of my dashboard where they had removed to install the new stereo and to wire up the reverse camera falls of and lands on the floor. After inspecting it I realise that they had broken it and carefully placed it back into place without saying anything about it. I also noticed that there was no loose broken parts anywhere to be seen which is how I know it did not break on its own as it had been cleaned up. This part is worth $450-500 not including fitting cost. I honestly regret trying to do the right thing and paying a SO CALLED professional to do the job. All I can say is if you use these guys then you deserve what you get as you have been informed.

Not a very good experience at all, more like a comedy of errors. My vehicle broke down on the 2nd day back with a damaged fan belt and had issues with the new aircon system from then on, mainly not providing proper aircon inside the car. After 3 times back to the shop it's still substandard for a brand new system. Salesman assured us boss is back in a week and will make contact, that was s couple of weeks ago and still nothing from them. My advice is to shop around.

I have a Merc SL 350 and the screen had failed. Mercedes in Cairns never responded to emails or a phone call so I had to look elsewhere. This place was recommended to me and gave them a go. Super slick sales. I ordered apple car play, dash cam and reverse camera. Total cost $2300 I paid deposit and they were going to call when the parts arrived. I had to follow them up 2 weeks lated and booked in for a Friday. I was going away on the Saturday so needed the car back. During the morning they called and said there was an issue, they needed another $500 as my car was not as they thought and I would not get back today. So no offer of help or support to get home I had to arrange my own transport at $50 Uber. My car was left there for the week. Another $50 Uber to go and pick up. I paid and left. I then noticed several things not the same.a) 2 greasy boot prints on the passenger side white carpet.b) consoles locked and no chance of opening c) steering wheel instruments not working d) popping noise coming from rear boot area e) drink holder stuck f) merc tools left in boot not put away. VERY VERY POOR. I called and they responded quickly and took back in. They seemed to know what the issues were straight away.a) i told them not to worry I will get professionally cleaned b) they had broken the central locking tube now fixed c) told things would not be the same just how it was. DESPITE they said at quote nothing would change be exactly the same, how WRONG THEY ARE.and zero care factor d) still there don't think they looked at it e) fixed they had wiring stuck on it f) i put away.
I was under the impression it would be full bluetooth but the phone needs to connect by cable so I still have to fit an ugly phone holder which is not what I wanted.
Reverse camera had no guide lines like every other I have had was told I had to set that up my self, but they did this for me.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY - I spent $2800 the dash cam will be ok when I know how to work it and the reverse camera with the guides has proved its worth. As for the new screen and the sat nav absolute waste I have not gained anything and would have been better just working from the phone. There was no apology, I recommend going elsewhere as I have to do to get it fixed properly.

I’m an unhappy customer. Left my car there to have a stereo installed. They didn’t call me when the job was done, accused me of attempting fraud when asking if the job was finished, wouldn’t let me see the installation prior to payment, broke part of the dash and didn’t bother to let me know, reckoned that I needed to book the car in again to have the breakage explained. Wow! Shafted!

A big mistake! 2 hours waiting to don't have any diagnosis why our reverse camera wasn't working. Ending up having to wait even longer just because they disconnect all our lights. We had to pay for nothing! Don't recommend at all.

Neat shop. The rest was a big disappointment. They said they had the gear in that we ordered so we drove 2 hours from the west to pick it only to have him say he can't find it. Didn't care, no sorry, nothing. Asked for a price on other gear and he said he didn't have time to find it. Left with nothing. Won't be going back.

I went in for a price and they were much more expensive than other places.
I asked if they would price match, they said no and were very rude to me.
Don't go there you will get ripped off!

Return the vehical four times to be told it as good as they can get it. That is not what I was told when I talked to them about getting a DVDs player fitted. I was told no problems. After the fourth time I was told it is as good as it gets. Poor response for over $1600 spent. When it come to payment the were rude and it seemed as if they were trying to be little me in frt of other customers. I had purchased many items before but not since that day. I use autobahn cairns now and find the customer service is much better.

Stay away from these people I went there to have my car air conditioner looked at and was told that they had bad news for me that my suction hose was leaking and also my compressor had gone, gave me a quote for $1434 I ended up taking the car to FNQ Air - nothing wrong with the compressor, I did have a leaking suction hose they had it fixed in no time for $570 so I believe they would not have even touched the compressor and charged me for a new one, total rip offs

The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time! The attitude i was given by the staff was disgusting. I would recommended you go else where!
Oh and the prices are outrageous.

I had a new head unit put in my ranger and was told that they would have to put a new reverse camera as, well the stereo is going fine but they didn't replace the rear camera,?
And while installing the handfree microphone they have broken the moulding and just clued it back into place
I was wondering where all this White plastic was coming from and now I know, the whole thing fell off while I was driving

Cost me $160 to install pre purchased speakers. Both front doors left damaged. Speakers already blown. Took 3 hours and never got a call. Went in store and the guy was reading a magazine.

Honestly these guys are the best in the business. I had a project car I had been working the last two years and was pointed in the right direction to Air Sound & Vision, to finish it off. My car was the type of car any other company (I won’t name) wouldn’t touch, because it was out of their experience/too hard or way overpriced incase faults were to happen. If your looking for quality assurance, experienced professionals and overall top quality work, this is where you go. It’s been an awesome experience seeing my vision come to fruition. I’ll be honest, you get what you pay for in any circumstance, but after dealing with Kirk, Errol & the team there’s no second guessing the work, the value & the experience these guys have. I’ll happily throw my Car on a truck in Brisbane and send it up to get work done all over again.

Tom did a awesome job upgrading my Toyota Hilux. The new Alpine Halo 11 really stands out amongst the rest of headunits these days. Installed the new spotties, speakers, amps and subwoofer within the day and gave me a run through at the end. All staff that helped with the purchase are professional and excellent product knowledge. If you want the job done right definitely book your vehicle in with these guys.
