Wintersun Cabin & Caravan Park

Really nice place. Huge sites, shade trees, nice pool, clean amenities, friendly helpful staff.

Despite The Alice's bad rep, Wintersun was great! Excellent amenities, close to the CBD, loved the pool, and Simpson Gap & Standley Chasm are just up the road. Also check out the Telegraph Station.
Won't hesitate to book in there again.

One of the safest park in Alice, full lockup at 6pm, old but clean amenities, the BBQ are gas and only 20 cents but don't work to well. Close to shops and centre of town.

Wintersun caravan park is so lovely. Just out of town. New owners have stepped it up from 5 years ago when we were last there. Beautiful grassy sites. Very clean very tidy & very safe. Definitely worth a visit!

Safest park to stay whilst in Alice, don't stay anywhere else.
Security is fantastic, fully closed at 6pm, gate code to enter prior to boom gate.
Only minutes from shops, Anzac Hill.
Highly recommend.

A lovely secure park where we felt quite comfortable in leaving our caravan while looking around Alice Springs. We have a large caravan and it fitted on the site with plenty of room. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Probably the nicest, most helpful and friendliest I have dealt with. I would highly recommend this park for anyone staying in Alice Springs

I've been a regular visitor to Wintersun for nearly three decades. Always a friendly welcome, clean grounds and excellent facilities.

I pre booked a cabin and when I showed up outside of office hours due to my car breaking down they answered the phone and yelled that they could not be bothered to walk to the office to let me in and left my family on the street without accommodation for the night

We stayed here for 3 nights on the way to Ularu and now staying for another3 nights on our way back, friendly staff and comfortable also pretty good price

Amazing place, we came from QLD and we felt very safe in that place in comparison to the city in general. All the amenities were good and the toilets felt like home, very clean. Also they close the gates at 7pm so it is good to not worry about anything. Thank you!

A great place to stay, very quiet place as well. The toilet & shower blocks are old & need up dating but kept clean. The people in the reception on arrival were great & very welcoming but the lady with short blondish hair is very rude. The gate is closed at 7pm so a safe caravan park.

The caravan park amenities were good, however the Woman on reception was abrupt, not willing to help and appeared annoyed when we checked in. Unfortunately not welcoming at all. However when speaking to the Man in the office, he was a gentleman. Best to avoid the Lady if you want any help.

Clean cabins and amenities, great after a very long drive. Staff very friendly and accommodating. A big thank you to Alison for changing things around every time our plans changed due to Covid. Highly recommended.

Able to arrange for auto electrician to repair caravan problems on their site at short notice.
Amenities were good and clean

Great friendly service. Loved the fact that they help guide your caravan into your spot.
Toilet block is showing its age and needs an upgrade or at least fix broken tiles etc. Also not very clean.
Rubbish bins were overflowing after 2 days and when we left after 4 days when opening door for bin area rubbish and broken bottles were overflowing.

The owner is not doing himself any favours having rude ignorant caretakers. Owners great park safe but caretakers need a personality transplant and realise they are working in the HOSPITALITY industry.

Not sure. We had cabin 20. Instruction booklet inform how to use stove top with oven, yet there is no oven. A two hotplate electric stove. One medium fry pan. No electric frypan. Cabin 20 suffers from road noise.trucks on Stuart Hwy. I should have asked more questions about utensils. Otherwise typical 2 bedroom cabin. Check road noise on any booking you make. There are BIG trucks out there!

Safe and secure van park, plenty of shade staff were helpful getting us a pull through site. Just on Northern side of town on highway. Clean ammenities, good camp kitchen.

Stayed many time as well as stored my motor home there for up to 3 months at a time. Best situated park in Alice. 20 minute walk to town.
