Wintersun Cabin & Caravan Park

We travelled here as a group, with the lovely staff made sure they accommodated us by so graciously having all our sites together. The sites were shaded by huge trees, the grass was very well maintained and green. The toilet and shower blocks some of the cleanest I've come across. The laundry room was clean with many washing machines available for all to use, as well as pegs and baskets to borrow if needed, they also have a book swap shelf. The whole property is fenced in with tall razor wire top fencing so no need to be worried about breakins.
I will be recommending this caravan park to my friends.

Been here for 2 weeks sadly leave tomorrow, new managers awesome and ladies in office lovely, close for lovely walks to telegraph station and river walk into town

This wasn't worth what you pay for. The plumbing is a huge issue and the cabins are very old. I'd rather pay an extra $20 for a motel with more room and better hygiene services.

Nice grassed sites.security gate for your protection, though you should always lock up your valuables.

Would rate higher if I could. Arrived under stressful conditions as car had broken down in the West McDonnell Ranges and it and our van were towed here. The receptionist, Kaye calmed me (thank you) and arranged for the best site for the truck to drop off the van. My partner then continued to the Centralian motors (bad experience - don't touch them) to drop the car off. Geoff one of the staff came and set up the caravan and Annex (wow lovely gesture) We had to sit it out for 2 weeks, Geoff came over and had a chat every day and to check on us. Great van park, great people, great birds to watch bathing under the sprinklers, great amenities, great pool, 450 metres to IGA, Celebrations, butcher etc. Say no more. Don't go past this caravan park.

Nice tidy and safe place to stay. Friendly welcoming check-in. Nice cabin, bed could do with a topper or something to nurse the weary old bones. But all good, convenient to shops.

Great little park - unpretentious, roomy sites, excellent customer service. We came back for a second stay we liked it so much.

Pretty good. Decent size sites. Gates locked at 6pm. 2 blocks away from supermarket and bottleshop. Seems to have people that stay there, working there. Would stay again.

Wintersun is a very well kept park with lots of grass. The amenities are always clean. It has a modern well appointed camp kitchen and fast free wifi. It has good security and we felt safe here. The staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to help you. I would highly recommend this park.

Bathrooms were exceptionally clean! Lots of beautiful big trees. Washing lines available for hanging clothing. Nice swimming pool. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well priced

Last minute phoned for accommodation while travelling through Alice and required secure parking for our vehicle, A friendly bloke Ralph came to our assistance with their last cabin, reception was great, cabin clean and secure parking for our vehicle, Thank you for good old fashioned customer service highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay, toilet blocks are old but do the job, the only issue I had was both blocks of toilets get cleaned at the same time, so if you need to in a hurry, it's a quick trip up the road to Bunnings. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Probably one of the worst caravan parks I’ve stayed at. The bed had about 2ins of dust underneath it. The towels were frayed, the sheets looked about 20 years old, as did the kettle, the couch uncomfortable. I don’t think any money has been spent on facilities in years. On a positive the staff were friendly and it was secure. Not a pleasant experience.

Close to town. Very clean. Great showers. Safe and secure. You won't need to pool in winter.

We had two nights at this park over the weekend, while I agree the staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating that is the only positive. We were given a site that was very dusty and dirty and we needed to reach under and passed our power box into the fenced in yard of what looked like a quite dilapidated permanent residents yard. The amenities were old with a varying array of inefficient shower roses. During the 2 days of our stay the amenities had not been cleaned at all and toilet paper stocks were very low. Very disappointing, given it was quite expensive.

Whilst Wintersun is a lovely park - clean and well maintained, our stay was marred by the difficulty we had getting into the park. We rang from two and a half hours away to make a booking to be told we didn’t need to book as there were plenty of spaces. The website said the park closed at 7 pm. We arrived at one minute after 6pm after an 11 hour driving day to find we couldn’t gain entrance or contact anyone because apparently the closing time had been changed. We rang and the phone message said message bank was full and not taking any messages.
Thanks to some friendly guests we got in and were eventually contacted. It wasn’t the best welcome we’ve ever had to a caravan park.

Stayed in a two bedroom cabin as my friend and I were visiting for Parrtjima. Excellent park to stay in, the male was friendly and extremely helpful however, the female not so helpful or friendly. The park is a 2k walk into the town centre, it’s a pleasant walk also a short walk to the local IGA. Fantastic facilities for the price and great location.

A great place to put your feet up and relax in a lovely pool.
Excellent groundsman blowing leaves of our slab for us, and a lovely couple in the office very obliging
