Place has had a major revamp since My last 20 years ago prices are ok staff are very helpful and friendly good beer garden out the back

Great location, great staff. Lunch food was also great, the chicken poke bowl was fantastic after a morning 4WDing and swimming

Great food, polite staff, unique outside seating area beside lovely pool, Also roomy and tidy camping area out the back. Very child friendly, Well done Walkabout!

Had to get the TV fixed
Ask for toilet paper
And there was no milk in the fridge
Other than that staff where friendly meals where filling

Food is pretty good quality for the price these days. Drinks can be a little pricey. But great for a casual night out.

I stayed for 5days here. Its a lovely place, all the people there are so kind. I love the vanilla dessert in their restaurant. So its the very 1st recommendation if you are in this area.

Enjoy coming here, it may be a tad over priced, but the food is alway well cooked, tasty and wholesome. Once you apprieciate that you live in the middle of nowhere and that you are getting the best just go with the flow and enjoy the plentiful flavours.

I had the worst meal of my life and the clientell hav no money and humbug anyone that walks in the door iv cooked at sea and all ova the country

Horrendously bad service. Rude customer service from the accommodation staff. Soon there will be a caravan park in town go there. They will change your booking to get more money. Stay here if you have to but camp in the bush its better.

Will never book anything with Wotif again.

$317 for twin room.
Paid extra for a twin room then charged extra for the 2nd person to use the 2nd bed.
Then were put in a double room.
Good points 1) really clean rooms and 2) entrees in restaurant are huge.

Stayed here in 2013 and 2014. Good sized clean rooms, Room Service and In-house Restaurant. Also right next door to a Bar/Tavern with good food and live music.

Flight was delayed from Cairns, ended up getting here at 1: 30 am. Called ahead to check with the lodge. They had people here when we arrived, even though they didn't know what time we were arriving and had everything set up.
Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are really friendly

The staff are nice, food mostly good (one night all the food was horrible but it is still a good place), a friendly atmosphere

This land is just stunning g the walk about is stunning the menue is new staff great I should know I'm a chef there the people are welcoming so all in all just fantastic place

Terrible service, 45 mins for food then sides didn't come out until meal already eaten, cold and not what was ordered. Waitress didn't smile once and was unhelpful. Not happy!
