Uluru Sunset Viewing Area reviews
25 Car Sunset Area. Well attended, but still a relaxed atmosphere to indulge in the changing lights on Uluruh and the landscape.
Amazing.
It's a really good spot to watch the sunset, lots of parking, just make sure you have your park pass to get into the area
Get here early before sunset. We packed a cheese platter and watched the sunset. There are still lots of flies about but not as intense at during the day.
It's definitely worth the evening to watch the sunset overlooking the rock from this location. Get here early and head to the very end of the carpark for the most unobstructed views. Like everywhere in the area, the flies are intense so a fly net is advised. Make sure you stay until the stars are visible as it's beautiful.
I believe the your bus parking lot has a better view. Our night had no high clouds for the setting sun's days to bounce off of to 'ignite' the rock in red glow. Too bad for us.
Best spot for the sunset as you can see the color changing. Plenty of parking spot and no need to walk to any platform.
Must visit place at Uluru. Like it says, visit at sunset and watch the many colours of Uluru as the sun sets. Take some insect repellent- the flies are indefatigable. Take a drink, there’s nothing around for miles.
Get there early. It gets very busy.
Well-placed and LOTS of parking. You certainly don't need to arrive early if you're driving. The day we went there were too many clouds for a good shot, but even if it were sunny, there's lots of bushes and trees kinda in the way, so consider a tripod, or if applicable, the roof of your car.
Absolutely beautiful to watch the colours changing in the sunset. Something very mystical and humbling about this experience. Appreciating nature and the beauty that is all around us!
Great place to take in the views of Uluru. Sunset is obviously best. Plenty of parking, however, it does fill quickly; so secure a park early in the evening and have your camera ready for the show. No toilet unfortunately which would make this a better place. Overall great place for viewing.
Viele Autos und Touristen, ansonsten eher wenig spektakulär, da habe ich auf dieser Welt schon schönere Punkte für Sunset und Sunrise gesehen
Lots of parking, took some great pictures. Far end was awesome spot, less people. If the timing works out, stay for the rising of the Moon!
The viewing area had uninterrupted views of Uluru, it was clean and people respected the area. Very enjoyable.
Check the daily sunset time and arrive at least 45 minutes before the official sunset time. The most spectacular lighting occurs 30 to 15 before sunset.
25$ for a three day pass. View is breathtaking. Come before 3pm to experience it from inside. Dont forget to bring the cameras.
Absolutely phenomenal watching the colours of Uluru change. Hot tip.go to the furtherest car park spaces for uninterrupted views
The perfect spot to get that postcard photo. The best photo place is towards the exit end of this carpark.
Yes, go here! Kick back and watch the sunset on a big rock.
NB. There were a lot of people and cars here - check when the sun goes down and be there early to get a good spot.
