Temple Bar Caravan Park reviews
40 Despite arriving late without reservation, we were very well received by the manager.
While we didn't even have enough to pay, because they don't take the card, he trusted us to go into town to get what we needed, and without any guarantee! (As French, we are absolutely not used to this kind of thing)
In short, this campsite is very good, the location great, the managers very nice. We regret not having stayed longer, but if we come back to the area, we will definitely come back
Beautiful outlook. Unfortunately does not make up for the dated facilities and extremely rude staff. I regret giving these people my money, I definitely would not recommend.
Would recommend staying at Temple Bar Caravan Park. Just out of town, always felt safe. It's a lovely little oasis under the ranges. Some lovely shady trees and green grass. Tricia was a delight - very friendly and happy for us to have a late check out. The facilities were older but spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay here again.
What a wonderful place to stay so happy we booked. Tricia was so lovely on the phone and was more beautiful in person. Park was very quiet and all the showers toilets and laundry was spoilt less. Well worth the trip from QLD and as my fil said it’s the best park in Australia. If I could score more I would. What a lovely friendly park hope to return one day but in the mean time I will be telling all family and friends to come and stay a few days/weeks. It also only few kms out of Alice Springs. Also not far from the Truck Museum which is a must to see.
Thanks again to Tricia you rock
Beautiful location, amenities very clean, lovely hot water and friendly owners. Come see some Rock wallabies, black cockatoo's.and beautiful rock hillside.
Very pleasant owners, great showers and overall a family friendly spot. Gorgeous location. Can even see kangaroos nearby when lucky!
A very quite, peaceful small park friendly staff great scenery happy to recommend it ablutions block very clean and tidy, older style
Fantastic quiet park 10 min out of Alice.
Beautifully grassed, shade, great amenities.
Best of all cheap. Friendly managers.
Couldn't ask for better
Top notch! Mostly due to Tricia who cares, loves to laugh & appears very relaxed about the load of work she puts into this basic park, nestled between the roe creek & macdonnell ranges.so much birdlife! Starry nights due to very little glare from lighting.always hot power showers, & front-loaders for the laundry, cold or hot.
Trish is a great host, the toilet / shower block is the cleanest we have come across and the the location️feel the serenity
About 10 minutes out of Alice. Surrounded by colourful rock cliffs with regular visits from wallabies & parrots. Really clean amenities. Grass sites. Friendly & approachable owner. Safe with no barbed wire. Highly recommend this caravan park.
Love this place, its just out of Alice and the backdrop of the hills, bird life, and visiting wallabys make this place extra special.
Facilities are spotless and the hosts are very obliging. We found a place to relax and rest and just breath.
We stayed here twice over a week or so. Very friendly staff, modest cost and a great location about 10 kms out of Alice. Grassed unpowered sites.
Lady was lovely 25 bucks + 15 bucks for power 15 returned if not used toots clean kinda grassy.gorgeous back drop of McDonnell Rangers
We spent one night here, and it's great! People so friendly, amenities clean, and the spot beautiful. Finally we gonna stay a little more
Bloody fantastic! Very clean facilities, beautiful grassy green park. Owners are friendly and very helpful! This is the place to go.
About 14 km out of Alice Springs, quite with some shade and grassy. Would have given 5 stars if they had a dump point which meant a 24 km round trip into town. And electricity is a separate charge read daily that I thought was time consuming, albeit the powered site rate is much better than Town.
What a great little place. Yes it is a little way out of town, but it is very secure, scenic, quiet and friendly. And because there's no pool or playground, few travellers with children stop here, did I mention it's quiet. If you like birds chirping to wake you instead of traffic you won't be disappointed.
No fire, but cheap, calm, beautiful surrounding, stayed a few nights while getting ready for the larapinta, loved the birds!
Trish is a kind, hard-working knowledgeable person. Beautiful tranquil setting. Very clean amenities. Doesn't get a 5 as no internet or mobile ph service available
