Stokes Hill Wharf reviews
65Good place for lunch, dinner or an icecream. Family friendly, lots of choices for food. Ferris wheel is there atm, short walk to waterfront, wave pool and Vibe hotel
We had no idea this was here until we wandered around Darwin and we are glad we did. There is a great range of restaurants to eat at and you get to pick your own table with stunning views over the Darwin water and we chose to sit on the top level up the stairs. We had some delicious Thai food, we would recommend all to come here!

Haven't been for a while. Went on the Ferris Wheel & then my fav Chilli Chicken. Red Dragon I think it called now. Very pleasant lunch. A great spot to go.
Wide variety of food and drinks only one problem and that is when you order fish and chips they don't take card's and refer you to an ATM all other places appeared to except cards including the ice cream shop which was very nice.
No. 1 on our bucket list whenever we're in Darwin! Great food choices, sunsets and the fresh sea breeze.the perfect setting for an enjoyable experience.
Great day o the wharf, many places to eat and drink. The ferries wheel was there when we went. $40 a carriage and it holes 6 people.
Great food at good prices, great atmosphere and suitable for young families with a gated playground out the back. Beautiful sunsets!
What a place, Stunning day or night, The best Thai I have had in a very long time but so much to choose from its endless!
Take the time to get out there & check it out. Feeding the fish of the pier is amazing & super fun for all
Highly recommended
Food not the best, ferris wheel expensive, old wharf had much better atmosphere, always had a war ship tied up there hadn't been back for years as I moved interstate and wouldn't be I'm a hurry to go back anytime soon. Only positive is it's beautiful food.
It's ok. Nothing flash. Certainly nothing like I was led to expect
Nice enough to meet people and have a meal
Feed the fish and enjoy your day
There was a friendly when we went and it was fun
Went on Ferris Wheel they give you six minutes so about 10 rotations maybe more I was not counting. Staff were very happy and friendly a must try tourist ride.
Darwin shines in the dry season. The wharf is a top place to catch up with friends with lots of food choices and drinks. Plenty of seating and you might even spot a dolphin.
O feed the moon fish and the barramundi. Off of the wharfs edge. It was really great going again tonight for a meal there and maybe. Feed the fish again. Most people who go do it
Beautiful wharf precinct, lots of interesting things to see and do. Only beef I have about the experience, at the time of our visit, with CoVid19 restrictions and all, the free shuttle bus was not operating! The walk along a very long wharf in near 32 degrees heat and humidity without adequate shade, was quite unbearable, the wife and I nearly melted into the bitumen from the extreme heat. A cool drink at one of the cafes was so refreshing, and didn't even touch the sides, we drank so fast to quell the fires In our throats. Apart from that, a beautiful structure for all to witness and experience.
Great to sit outside having a meal and a drink catching a nice breeze across the water.
Good selection of food stalls
Best place to dine while the sun is setting down. It's a very popular place so you need to come early to get a parking and get a good spot of dining table. This photo was taken yesterday 29th April. The sunset was spectacular. I got lucky too, while eating my dinner, I was chasing lightning at the same time as we had the perfect view of the storm. I highly recommend this place as one of your places to see in Darwin.
Great area to visit plenty to keep you occupied food, sunset cruises, walks along the wharf. Enjoyed the experience of a sunset dinner cruise. Darwin is so great to visit.
Great place to sit over the water and take it all in over a meal. Not everyone takes card or there though so best to come prepared (or use commercial ATMs).
Fresh fish and chips and many other cuisines available for outside dining right at the waters edge. Fantastic atmosphere, feeding the fish is optional but great fun. Take cash for food.
It is a great place where you can hangout, dine, fish cruise, etc.it is where you can take naturally fresh air and breath with ocean view. There is also a playground for kids, and It is the best place for both locals and visitors. With many nearby restaurants and short walk to the CBD, you can easily spend your day.
