Most modern, clean and well thought out facilities at any site we've been to! The bathrooms are impeccably clean and very modern. There are powerpoints beside the mirrors for hairstyling/drying etc. The hosts are helpful and able to arrange tours as needed. Campgrounds are well shaded and comfortable. Thanks!

Toilets and shower were clean and new. Was told there was no space only ‘overflow’ but this suited us perfectly- unlike the main area, we had plenty of space to ourselves. Not the friendliest of receptionists, but perhaps she was having a bad day.

Great place, clean, tidy and quiet.
You can pre book which is a bonus for us.
If we ever travel this way again, we would definitely stay here.

Got here late and the park was full but the nice old guy running the show still made room for us out the front. Nice showers

Expensive, crowded in school holidays, grumpy receptionists. Went here on a recommendation - mistake! Were hoping to stay 2 nights. Seems the nomadic, longer-staying caravanners were catered to beautifully with sites furthest away on the quiet end, under lovely shady trees. We were put on the busiest, tiny, dusty corner site across from reception. People cut the corner of the road and traipsed through our site near our hitop van window. We were told there were no other spots but noticed bigger, empty sites in quiet areas. After a big day travelling I was quite distressed with the constant traffic driving past (often too fast), checking in non-stop and people walking on our site. No relaxation here! Glad to get away and stay at Katherine Gorge the 2nd night.

This park was a hidden Oasis, the amenities and laundry where well kept and extremely clean and tidy. The park was well spaced and the pool was definitely a bonus. Cannot forget to mention that the park staff where absolutely amazing and made booking so easy and kind to chat with

The best caravan park in the NT. Excellent and very clean amenities, large shady sites and extremely well managed. Out of town a ways but that just makes for very quiet nights.

Our favourite paid campsite in the NT. The facilities and modern, and fastidiously cleaned. The couple that run the place are friendly and do an outstanding job.

Loved this caravan park. A very well managed park with spotless amenities and well maintained sites. It had a lovely tropical feel to it. Could have stayed a lot longer.

The cleanest and best maintained camp ground you will find. Lots of shade. Paved camp places. The host boss-lady is a bit grumpy, but otherwise excellent.

Stayed in a modern cabin, it was the disabled one (cabin 11) and it was amazing. The bathroom was HUGE! The shower was so large, with a fold down seat. The shower water pressure was amazing & hot! Plenty of cooking stuff, could cook exactly the same as if I was at home. This cabin impressed me a lot. Very happy.
We do have a caravan but due to it being damaged we needed emergency accomodation while our Caravan was getting repaired. I rang around for accomodation & Shady Lane had this cabin for us. Thanking our lucky stars we even got anything during this busy time.
The caravan park looked really nice too if you're towing your Van. Close to the gorge.

We really enjoyed our stay.it was comfortable and very clean.we weren't disturbed by the staff or our surrounding neighbors with loud noise.there's a pool but it's way too cold so it would be nice if it were heated.the sun made it bearable but I couldn't imagine getting in if it wasn't up.we stayed in a villa on stilts and it was clean and had everything we needed.kitchenette with jug burner microwave fridge freezer toaster cutlery utensils tea coffee milk tea towel sink dining set chopping board dish soap and cloth and scrub bin and rubbish bag.sitting area with sofa and TV.bed was comfy and blankets kept us warm as it got very cold at night and in the early hours of the morning.ac unit worked perfectly.bathroom was a great size with soap towels toilet paper & sanitary paper bags.large shower but the water pressure could be a lot better.nice hot & cold option as needed also fan for ventilation.small porch with small outdoor table setting.there were shared amenities like kitchen bins laundry area but we didn't use it so I cannot comment on that.oh and our room had a slight hint of curry/chutney smell in it we kept airing it out but we couldn't get rid of it, in the end we became use to it I guess.the floors were really clean too and there were also a phone book iron and ironing board if needed.
