Pee Wee's at the Point reviews
70Superb restaurant in a beautiful spot. The food was some of the best I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. Fine dining and spectacular service at its best.
Thank you so much for your warm and welcoming hospitality. The food was amazing. Couldn’t have wanted to celebrate my birthday anywhere else.
If you want bland, overpriced, very small portioned meals. Then this place fits the very inflated bill. Do not recommend, unless the chef discovers seasoning, and ensures his food has actual flavour.
My husband and I had my birthday dinner here. The staff members were very friendly and mindful. We love the seafood platter and the cake.
Such a shame. Location is spectacular, the building is lovely, unfortunately the rest doesnt match the hype. It started badly when trying to order s cocktail; I asked if they could possibly make a Manhattan (much simpler than many of the drinks on offer) and was told by the waitress, rudely, that she thought the bar was busy. I asked that she check, and she just repeated the same. She then decided to correct me on my pronunciation of the wine I chose.incorrectly.
First course. Lovely tasting plate, well executed. Not in love with the combination, but that's an individual thing.
More drinks ordered, the chap that brought them out seemed very bewildered and had no idea of what to do.
Main courses ; got to say, really poor. Snapper was ok at best, sauce in small ramekins was pretty poor -served as I'd expect in an RSL- prawn salad was particularly disappointing. Prawns small, pre-shelled (suggesting they're not local or fresh) casava chips were prawn crackers. Pickled daikon was fried. Nam jim was mostly vinegar, no balance or subtlety.
Please don't bother replying with anodyne answrs telling me you'll listen and learn, or that you look forward to seeing me again. I'd like to hear why your standards are pretty poor for the price charged. I'm happy to pay top dollar for good food and service, but not thrilled about paying top money for an average evening.
You could be amazing.
Amazing location and views.
We had the Seafood Starter, Taste Plate and a bottle of wine for just over $180.
The oysters were ok; think we have more of a taste for creamier oysters.
What a location! Such a shame the food let them down. Entree was good the mains a big disappointment. Stick to wine the cocktails are underwhelming! Maybe just pop in for nibbles and a pre dinner drink. There was one waitress Hanna who was particularly helpful. Otherwise a lot of staff and not much service.
Modern Australian cuisine with a Asian twist, try the crocodile la lot with coconut, chilies peanut and betel leaf, great range of seafood options, deserts to interesting not to try, cassava cake with baked custard light and tasty
Service was a little lacking, a bit inattentive at times, the view of Darwin as the sunset is worth the visit alone
Spectacular views, comfortable seating, and exceptional service. All of this was complimented by a great menu that has something for everyone. If you love a drink, there's 11 pages in the menu dedicated to your every need. We were served by Alfi who looked after us very well. A must for locals and tourists. Be sure to book outside.
Location is great overlooking the ocean. We were here in wet season but it still impressed. Service was very attentive and the food was delicious.
My wife and I had our first outing to Pee Wee, s since moving to Darwin and we loved the experience thank you to all
Kind regards

I booked a seat in the lounge section on a Saturday night. When they say lounge, it is a lounge but at your least favourite auntie's place. They are big weird lounge chairs at shin height – great to be stupefied in but horrible to eat from. You know the drill, it’s a complete use of every muscle and sinew in the body to make the roll to the edge. Then it’s time to perform on the balance beam as you eat. I was expecting bar stools at a shared long bench. Easy to eat, easy to mingle. It was also quite dark and gloomy. The chairs were so far apart it would be impossible to talk to anyone, even you partner or offsider opposite. It was also quite dim outside so hard to spot the entrance.
On the plus size I could not fault the waiting staff, very attentive. The food was very good and the wine list was quite varied. The dining area was full and well lit, there were happy people – go there instead.
The best thing I can say about the lounge is that I was the only one there – a win for humanity.
Pee Wee’s – Please put in bar stools around raised tables, donate the lounge chairs to deserving aunties or rename the place, “Aren’tys”
What a beautiful experience my partner and I had at Pee Wee's. It was our wedding anniversary, and they made our evening very special. The Manager, Simone, is outstanding and definitely deserves a shout-out! Thanks Pee Wee's Team for the service. The best restaurant in Darwin, no doubt!
Beautiful setting looking out over Fanny Bay. Barramundi was not wild but farmed despite menu title. Pork was exceptional, desert was average.
I can’t rate Pee Wee’s highly enough! Spectacular views, food to die for and what made the whole night for me was the staff. They treated me better than most and I just couldn’t be happier with my night, they really made it one I won’t forget. Thank you Pee Wee’s!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at Pee Wees, the food was delicious and a good selection of drinks for all tastes. The staff were very helpful with some still learning their skills and did a great job.
We would definitely recommend anyone visiting Darwin put this restaurant on the list.
Brilliant dinner. Had the duck and it was the best I have ever eaten. Highly recommend going. Wonderful atmosphere and great food.
Didn't feel the fine dinning aspect as such. Great view of waterfront, food we felt average. We were served a cold side plate which we returned and were not charged for.
We went here for my partners birthday recently and the service was excellent. Food was tasty and the view was so breathtaking.
We were so pleasantly surprised with the birthday cake and candles they bought out for him at the end of the night.
Pee Wee's is arguably Darwin's best restaurant. An idelic setting, a premium menu and excellent wines - all with attentive service. You won't be disappointed. Just need to book early as it's so popular.
