Great place to stay in Darwin. Value for money. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great service.

Had such an amazing stay in the Bungalow with private jacuzzi. Lovely hut style accommodation, with amazing sunset views. Very good city location too. Would stay again!

Good location, friendly helpful staff, a bit noisy at times, only real complaint is arriving early evening to a hot room it took hours to get the room cool enough to sleep, late October in Darwin you'd think they'd be able to turn the aircon on a couple hours before you arrive it's not like they didn't know we were coming, apart from that we had a great time and really enjoyed Darwin

Got in about 1-30am reception 24 hours which is helpful. The receptionist was lovely, rooms nice and clean. Have a breakfast caffe on site. Had a good night sleep can't wait to go for a swim in the amazing looking pool.

Room was really good, cleaning staff were terrific. Breakfast very basic & were handed our cutlery pack at reception? Never had that before.

Loved this place. Great location close to everything. Pool open till 10pm. Friendly staff. My only negative is a lot of guests like to smoke. This seems to be all of Darwin though.

This was a nice tropical island right in the middle of the city. Close to everything walk to waterfront or into town. Next door to night life and great social pubs. The staff are lovely very friendly and helpful. We got a tropical villa pool side room 212. A studio which even though it was dated it was very comfortable with a deck overlooking the pool. This can get a little noisy but closes at 10pm. The pool is the social hub and we met some lovely guests while having cocktails. There is a little manned bar on the pool deck on certain nights which is great. The bed in our room was comfortable and linen was crisp. It had everything we needed. Our air conditioner broke down but there was someone there first thing in the morning to apologise and fix it. Ceiling fans did the job for one night. A great casual place to stay in the heart of town.good value accommodation.

Excellent value for money, right in the centre of Darwin. Recommend getting a poolside bungalow! Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Staff friendly, service OK and centrally located to Mitchell Street, however, this hotel has a smoking culture that ruined our stay. If you are a smoker this is your hotel, if you don't like people being obnoxious smoking next to you where you're only option is to retreat inside your room then we can't recommend this hotel. Couldn't accept why all ashtrays are placed on most outdoor tables, hence smoking culture.

Great shower! Just what I needed after adventuring around the NT. Aircon and clean room. Parking is limited and I got a ticket even after using the street parking app! Obviously that's not the fault of the resort, but parking is a premium in busy times so be prepared.

Great location in the city on the Esplanade, really nice to have the garden settings rather than a large multi storey hotel, there's a good pool and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Place is very relaxing and I'd stay again.

The Palms is an excellent choice of accomodation in Darwin. We had a garden bungalow opposite the pool, lovely and quiet with tropical gardens which offered privacy on our deck. Rooms are made up by housekeeping each day which was wonderful. Close to restaurants and shops. Beautiful park and views of the hsrbour opposite. Grab a scooter and ride to Mindil market for dinner on a Thursday or Sunday night, so easy to get around, also walking distance to the waterfront district. We will definitely stay here again!

Would have given 5/5 but when I asked the DM about vouchers for Hotel Darwin all I heard was excuses I could have dropped the star for the pile of wood chips in my car space outside my room and having to park in the carpark and walk to my room I could have dropped the for the wifi that always drops out

But because you didnt want to share vouchers with me will do it and unlike the budget locals you normally deal with I will have my say here thanks

Good value accommodation right in the heart of the city. Easy walk to the waterfront or Mitchell Street.
Has a laundry and is next door to the Hotel Darwin where you can get a good meal.
Limited off street parking.

First time booking into the Palms City Resort, we got the sunset villa with the indoor spa bath. The staff was lovely when we arrived. We used the indoor spa at night and then suddenly the room’s power shut off. We thought it was a black out but it was only our room that was affected, the staff was apologetic and offered us another room to stay in. Unfortunately the room they offered us wasn’t that great, exactly the same room.but the fan that’s in the room was noisy. Making grinding noises all night, the tv channels were mucking up and found a stink bug in bed that was crawling on my partner’s face! It was a pleasant stay to begin with.then it went downhill from there.

The room was nice very clean. The resort is very well laid out and the staff are wonderful. Right across from the beach and park area. That was the only negative. It gets noisy at night from people partying in the park. But overall nice comfy rooms and fantastic location.

Awesome place! Well located within the city area, close to the shops, bars and some attractions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great pool. Bungalows were well appointed with fabulous outdoor space, surrounded by palms. If you're lucky, you can make friends with the local possums! Great price and highly recommend
