Epic experience in the red centre exploring Uluru, Kings Canyon, The Valley of the Winds and watching the stars from your swag. An absolute bargain for the unforgettable memories made.

Our guide Jason, who is not only a menace of a singer, shared his knowledge of each place including some Indigenous stories from our First Nation People. He went out of his way to ensure our safety, enjoyment and comfort was met. We were always so looked after and well fed - we even had the chance to dig into camel patty burgers and kangaroo steak.

We recommend this tour to anyone and everyone! An easy 5 stars

Thanks Jason and the Mulgas Team. We’ll catch you around soon.

Great 4 days adventure in the Red Centre! I felt in very good hands with our knowledgeable, organised and super nice tour guide Jesse. He made the whole experience a relaxed and fun one! The meals and snacks were good, different every day and in good quantity (for the standards of an adventure tour like this one).
As it wasn't my first time in the Red Centre, the highlights of this trip for me were the hike to Kings Canyon at sunrise (what a banger!), the great tunes on the road (they really add up to the experience!) and the last remote bush campsite. It was the perfect final touch to our outback adventure with a hearty pasta and garlic bread meal, songs around the fire and the amazing milky way above our heads.
Only the getting back to Alice Springs on the last day felt way too long and painful as we had to pick up people on the road, then change bus, then change bus again before we finally arrived in Alice after all restaurants were closed.
It was overall a great experience, good value for money, that I recommend if you want a true "outback swag adventure", to be guided and don't want to drive.

I went on the 3 day camping tour with 2 mates last weekend. The tour was full (24 people) but still felt like a nice cozy group. For sure worth it if you're up for a few hikes and sleeping under the stars in a swag.

This was my 3rd trip to Uluru/Kata Tjuta/Kings Canyon, but I was glad to not have to drive this time. I also really appreciated having our guide Jinxy chatting us through the sites. His knowledge on aboriginal culture and the land added a lot to my experience this time around.

Expect to do some work, just basics like cooking as a group and cleaning up after yourself. If I was to do the tour again I would book myself in for the 4 day tour, which includes a bush camp on the last night.

Best tour I've ever had! We took 3 nights tour to Uluru and King's Canyon and couldn't be better. Ranger was so knowledgeable and professional. Food was reasonable in quality and quantity (specially for being us who cooked). Views are hard to forget, sunrise at King's Canyon and sunset at Uluru. Sleeping under a sky full of stars by the warm of a fire was all an experience, not to mention hearing hauling Dingos in the far. Not recommended for lazy buddies, you will have to cook your food, clean your dishes and be an early bird.

Truly incredible experience and the tour guide Andy is awesome. He really knew his stuff and felt more like a friend than someone I paid for 4 days to take me to the outback.
Highly recommend doing this, it will be a once in a lifetime experience for you

I had one of the best experiences of my life. Even been in a desert with a lot of flies. Deon our tour guide was the best, I strongly recommend you to do with him. He has a vast knowledge in geology, botany and aboriginal culture. Thank you Mulgas and Deon!

As a B2B client of Mulgas Adventures it is refreshing to see a business that values their staff so highly. Andrea and Cliff go above and beyond in providing a Fair and Safe workplace for their employees. An employer of choice and a pleasure to deal with.

Went on the three day Rock Tour and had an unforgettable experience! Our tour guide Jesse was super knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. He was so kind to consider all my food allergies before preparing any meals. He considered everyone’s interests in the tour and made sure we had prime views for sunrises and sunsets. I am so happy I went with Mulgas over other tours as our tour group was not too large and we all got to know each other pretty well. I started and ended in Alice Springs and had so much fun singing with the guides on the five hour drive to and from! Plenty of stops were made for snacks, sights and toilets. Each site we had swags to sleep under the amazing night sky, running water and bathroom facilities. I was expecting a more rugged back packing tour but I was pleasantly surprised! Would recommend Mulgas Adventure Tours every time!

We had a great time on our 4 day rock-to-rock-tour with Ash as an amazing tour guide! Sleeping in swags at the campfire, waking up early to see the sunrise, watching the sunset before dinner, eating kanguroo steak and camel burger, hiking around uluru, kata tjuta and kings canyon, collecting wood for the campfire and chatting with Ash and other tour participants from all over the world - if you like that, I can totally recommend Mulgas Adventure Tours

We had an awesome 3-day tour with Mulgas! Our tour guide Ash was super cool. He explained and showed us basically everything you need to know and see around Uluru, Kata-Tjuta and Kings Canyon. We can only highly recommend him and Mulgas. If you want to have a fun and great experience go with them!
Thanks for the amazing tour!
Cheers Manu & Elli

Excellent once a life experience. I got my memorable honeymoon tour there.

As born and grow in city, the experience in cooking and picking firewood is great.

With reasonable hikings, I am glad to accompanied with mulgas

I just got back from the 4 days tour Rock to Rock tour and it was amazing! Our tour guide was Ash who was very knowledgeable of the local area. We complete 3 walks - around the Ayres Rock base, Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). My favourite was Kings Canyon but they're all fantastic. There was plenty of food and snacks (cheese, biscuits, marshmallows, Tim Tam's) each night. I would recommend this tour to anyone flying in and out of Uluru.

One of best trips of my life. We were picked up from hotel in Alice Springs by a small van, to join around 20 persons trip. A our guide was Ryan, best guide ever! Drove around 5h to Uluru had lunch there, lunches were done by Ryan with our help, so no sitting around and waiting to be served, lunch was nothing fancy but as good as you could imagine on camp site. The we were taken to Uluru Park and had a walk around the rock. If you go there please take as. Much water as they ask you, it is f. Hot! Later we went to a viewing spot to see Uluru at the sunset and had some bubbles. Both nights we slept in swags (it's like a sleeping bag with a mattress in it) so yes sleeping on the ground with no tent, just amazing falling asleep looking at the stars. Next day we went to Katja Tjuda, stunning, be prepared to wake up at 4.30 am. There is good reason for it, if you leave any later even during spring you will boil! Next night we stayed at the campsite where you can have a helicopter ride (additional money and if the pilot is there) and they have a swimming pool. Ryan baked a bread in fire place (we needed to get the wood ourselves, so much fun if you don't mind getting dirty). Last day we went to kings Kanyon, just stunning!

Absolutely the best tour I have been on! We went on the Ulura and Kata Tjuta 3 day tour. Our guide Jason was extremely knowledgable about the surrounding area and sites were seeing. The tour itself was amazing and included more food than you could ever eat. You also get a real outback experience by sleeping swags under the stars. I HIGHLY recommend booking a tour with Mulgas if you are coming to Alice Springs!

I've been on quite a few tours throughout Australia, and in terms of guide knowledge, excitement, and the general tour, it was the best one I've been on. Our tour guide was amazing, the sights and sunrises that we saw were amazing, and the food that we ate was amazing!

Had a blast with Mulgas adventures. Our guide Matt "scruffy" was great and he can cook really good. I, Jonathan from "Colombia" ate second and some third plates. Food range from burritos, camel burger, Kangaroo, Pasta, pancakes and my favorite was his homemade bread "camp site bread". We had a good group of 17 people and all help cleaning and getting the wood for the bonfire. The Sunrise and sunset were amazing at Uluru. We did 3 days and 4 nights and think it was enough. Our tour guide Matt was well organized, knowledgeable about his country and precise on time. We learned so much, especially about the PYGMY koala (LOL). Our winter camping experience was great, but temperatures did drop up to -2C (28F). So, cover yourself pretty good with the swag provided by Mulgas adventures and make sure you booked a sleeping bag.

I did the 4 days/3 nights adventure with a group of 17 people.

Matt, our fun and friendly guide is knowledgeable about the area, he shared a lot of great and interesting stories along the walks.

If you are lucky to do the tour with him, you can be sure that you're gonna eat very well, Matty is such a great cooker!
We had burritos, camel burgers, baked potatoes, kangaroo. But the best were his homemade damper and pancakes! Sooo yummy!

Sleeping under the stars in a swag around a bonfire was one of the best experience I've had since I've been traveling in Australia! But it was a bit rough at night though. -2°C the last morning outch! I still think going in the summer would be dreadful as you'll be surrounded by a bunch of anoying flies and the walks are long and exhausing. With 35°C I can't imagine how bad it would be!

In my opinion the 3rd night/4th day does not worth it as we didn't do anything special. All the visits and walks were done in 3 days. So yes, we were in a "private" campground surrounded by nobody else, but the experience is the same as the nights before. Bonfire, sunrise. Breakfast and back to the airport.
Yet, I did appreciated it.

Only negative point is that sometimes you feel in a rush, "don't take 20 minutes to do photos.blabla". Yes, we are on a tour, with schedules but. We are also on holidays:)

To resume, I'm glad I did this tour with Mulgas, I've met nice people and had one of the greatest guide I named "Matty the crazy bear" xD

Thanks guys!

Amy, the tour guide was just amazing! She knew everything about her mother land and she was telling us all the stories from her heart that touched my feeling a lot. The tour itself is great also, we didn't miss any bits of the thing we must see and do. Special thanks to Amy once again to prepare a surprise birthday cake for my fiancé! She was absolutely happy to be celebrated by all people on the tour with thousands of stars! We would like to give 1extra star for Amy to made our journey the unforgettable one! So Mulgas Adventure got 6 stars in total from us! The best! By R&N from Japan
