Mulgas Adventures reviews
61My wife and I recently went on the 4 day tour with Mulgas and it was incredible - truly unforgettable! It was very much out of our comfort zones (being in the bush and camping in swags - when we hadn't camped before!) But our guide, Ewell, made us feel very safe and reassured us throughout the trip. Ewell was full of information and we came away having learnt so much! The views were absolutely spectacular and the hikes were incredible. We feel like it was the perfect amount of a "challenge" for us (and we're nervous city people!) The staff in the offices were also really helpful in the build up to the trip by answering emails promptly! We couldn't recommend this tour more!
I went on the 4-day tour with Uel and can definitely recommend this tour and tour operator. It really was a great experience, lots of fun and all in all just 4 amazing days!
Awesome tour! I would love to give 6 stars. Ben is just the best guide ever. I would recommend that tour for sure. You're doing an amazing job <3
I just returned from the 4 day Rock to Rock tour and had the most incredible time! Sleeping under the stars which were just mesmerising, hiking through valley of the winds and kings canyon rim walk were incredible, Uluṟu at sunrise and sunset and my friend and I even were able to sneak in a helicopter ride at kings creek. So much squeezed into the 4 days it was great and felt like I was away for a week.
The trip exceeded my expectations in every single way and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little bit of adventure and to see some of the most spectacular outback sights without the hassle of having to plan where to go for yourself.
The food on tour was great and we never went hungry, meals were hearty and snacks were plenty!
Our tour guide Jason was great, very informative and accommodating to all of our needs!
Great Job Mulgas Adventures:)
Great experience with Mulgas Adventure and our amazing guide Adam! We booked 4 days/ 3 nights and we do not regret it at all, the group was fantastic, we've met really nice people from everywhere. The food was really good and perfect for vegetarians like my spouse and I.
My friend and I had an absolutely fantastic time on the 4-day Rock to Rock tour. I am a vegetarian so these sorts of trips always seem to be a bit of a gamble, but it was the best I've ever been catered for - the food was delicious and plentiful. Our tour guide, Michael was friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable about the culture and traditions of the land and the Aboriginal people who have inhabited it for thousands of years. He also spoilt us with an abundance of snacks and even taught us a few dances!
If you're looking to be humbled by the magic of the red centre then this is the only way to do it. The people on the tour were likeminded adventurers, so we had fun from dusk until dawn. Sleeping under the stars was unforgettable and you won't get eaten by dingoes!
A lot of this experience for me was ruined by the continuous comments of First Nation's by the tour guide. Her perception of First Nation's came from her living in Alice Springs and was the narrative of her cultural tour.
As an Indigenous Australian I was not made to feel comfortable and question the integrity and knowledge of this company.
I did not go on tour to hear stereotypes of cultures and inaccuracy's in condemnation.
Perfekt Tour to explore the outback. We had an amazing time and collected a lot of good memories. Nicole was a perfect guide.
Tour is very good organised! We highly recommend it!
My wife and I did the 4 day "Rock to Rock" tour. We had an amazing time. Our tour guide, Adam, was knowledgeable and lots of fun. Our group was amazing. The views and landscape were breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour.
We had the best time! The trip really builds and the sites are breathtaking, especially the sunrise walk at Watarrka. Our guide, James ‘Duffman’ Duffy was amazing. Very knowledgeable, warm, energetic and regaled us all with awesome chats, fun facts and stories at each site and on the bus rides in-between. We were always well fed (as vegetarians) and the outdoor camping experience was nothing short of authentic. Would highly recommend to anyone willing to brave the heat (of the bus), it is truly worth it! Thanks for having us!
*** If you’re interested in purchasing pieces from Anangu artists be sure to take cash with you! There are several artists at the sites who are selling their beautiful works, and opportunities for ATMs are few and far between on the way there.
Absolutely AMAZING.
4 day rock to rock adventure was everything i was looking for and more! I would recommend this tour to all. Campsites were clean, food was great, swags were comfy- What more could you ask for! Days were jam packed but never felt stressed on time.
Day 1 - Uluru Base walk and watching sunset
Day 2 - Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta Valley of the winds hike- BREATHTAKING!
Day 3 - Kings Canyon Hike - Absolutely beautiful.
Tour guide Laura was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond in everything she did. The best tour guide I've had in a while. Thank you Laura & thank you Mulgas for making this such a memorable weekend.
Mulgas Advetures is real deal adventour. I did Rock to Rock Tour- 3 nights. Beautiful hikes- not too long, breathtaking views. The food was great, but be prepared for helping with prep and cleaning. Sleeping in the swag is a challenge, but I think it's a highlight of the tour. It's unforgettable experience of sleeping under the stars in the middle of the desert. I think going to Uluru in March was a great idea, the heat was pleasant and fly net perfectly protecting against flies. Must go if you wanna experience the real outback and wildness. Do not go if you are scared of bugs, or you like too much comfort: D Next time I would probably do only 2 nights- the extra night was unnecessary stretch. And I regret we didn't have a chance to add at extra cost helicopter ride or field of lights. Besides this- highly recommended.
We've has absolutely amazing trip with Mulgas Adventures!
Our guide Adam went above and beyond to make us happy, well fed, hydrated and informed. We've had delicious food, something new for every meal. Lots of stories on the way while hiking and on the bus.
Everyone in the group was friendly and took care of each other. Helping with cooking and cleaning added more fun.
I personally fell in love with the Red Centre and sleeping in a swag, even flies couldn't spoil the impression!
Huge thanks to Adz and Mulgas team for such experience!
I had a great time during the 3 night 4 day rock to rock camping tour with Mulgas.
Obviously the beauty of the rocks, desert, sky, salt lake, canyon and so on is already breathtaking. Mulgas's well-organised and unpretentious trip has made the experience more unforgettable. Our tour guide Adam is a lovely guy with lots of knowledge, great attention to details and a wacky sense of humour. He went above and beyond to provide everyone with the best tour experience. We also had a group of very diverse and kind people. I should've booked a longer trip to enjoy more of the travelling time in Central Australia with this awesome group.
I don't usually do reviews. But this trip is definitely worth a five-star:)
Absolutely amazing experience from Mulgas! A true weekend to remember. The 4-day Rock-to-Rock tour was packed with everything you could hope for plus some. Very organised and informative, fantastic tour guide (thanks Rachel!) and proper Aussie outback experience. Plus catered amazingly for my gluten free diet. Couldn't be happier, highly recommend! Thanks Mulgas ️
Do you want the best tour the Red centre can provide? Go no further than Mulgas Adventures my partner and I ofter opt to travel the two of us, but for affordability and stress, we chose this tour, to our surprise they delivered us beyond our expectations. Great in-the-know information about the first nation's people and culture, great travel advice, lots of Laughs. The leadership provided by our tour guide, Ace-Jase was phenomenal, he took the time to relate to and converse with everyone, which we all appreciated, bringing the group of strangers together to become Adventures alike! Lots of pit stops for booze! Looked after us, ate camel, Kangaroo and even Bacon! Best camp meals, gonna implement them on the solo travels! Honestly going to take this tour again when mates from overseas come, it's that GOOD!
Don't think about it any longer, you'll need to experience it for yourself. Just book it, and do it!
You'll thank yourself later!
Thank you Mulgas! WTFs a Mulga?
Sending lots of love, Jules and Kate!
I don't usually leave reviews however my experience with Mulgas adventures was absolutely amazing. This was all because of our fantastic tour guide Rachel. We learnt so much about the culture, food, animals and vegetation. Felt safe at all times and it wouldn't have been the same without Rachel, Thank you for this memorable time and I have recommended my friends and colleagues!
Heaps of fun. Great memories! If you get Laura you are set for a great tour! Some much experience and knows what she is talking about.
Such an amazing tour with great local knowledge from our tour guide Nicole. Food allergies are fantastically catered for which made a huge difference to my experience on the trip. Would 100% recommend this tour as the best and most exciting/immersive way to see the Red Centre.
Had the most amazing time on our Uluru tour, our guide has so much knowledge and really made the experience
