Mercure Alice Springs Resort

Definitely a great place close to town. Include the buffet breakfastfrom 6 till 10 and it works in well with all the tours to the Mc Donnell ranges that leave at u and or 8am.
Very courteous sociable staff and rooms were excellent.

Decided to opt for the 2 course meal deal for dinner, which was $50 for garlic bread, one main and one desert, as well as a glass of white or red wine. The food itself was good, but the service was beyond sluggish. While our waiter was quite kind, this review may have been closer to 5 stars if it didn't take 1 hour for him to bring my wine over - which he brought red when I ordered white. He was very kind about it and brought me a glass of white immediately. Both our meals came out shortly thereafter, at which point we hadn't yet recieved the garlic bread. I raised the issue with the waiter and he immediately brought the garlic bread out (with an extra piece as an apology). The garlic bread was delicious, but only because it was absolutely drenched in butter (not complaining). We left feeling overly underwhelmed and dissapointed with the experience.

I returned the following morning for the $25 breakfast buffet, which was actually quite nice. Some good options with an omelette bar, various sausages, fruit, pancakes, bacon, pastries, toast, cereal, etc. I would recommend the breakfast buffet over the dinner. I went back for 5 plates (perhaps to compensate for my experience the precious day). Regardless, it was good enough to go back for secondary servings.

Overall this restaurant is a 2/5 for dinner table service, 4/5 for dinner quality/value, and a 5/5 for breakfast quality/value.

Stayed here for the Larapinta run, service was always excellent and the staff were always available and nice

We had a few drinks and it was great. They even serve you while in the pool in summer if you're staying there.

Great accommodation and good service. The courtyard feel of the building definitely helps. The trims are bit on a smaller side, but I don't think you will spend a lot of time indoors. All facilities available including coin laundry, if you in the middle of a roadtrip that will help. Internet, restaurants, bar, tour arrangements. U got all in here.

Getting a little old, but our room was great nice and big, comfortable bed.the restaurant served really good food.stayed 4 nights ate breakfast and dinner there for 2 days.then went to town. If I get back to the Alice I will return to this hotel

I enjoyed staying so close to the famous Todd River. This resort lies within walking distance from many culturally significant sites, both ancient and modern. Bird and animal life is abundant in the area. This is a nice place to stay.

The section we stayed in (River View) reminded me of a nursing home or school corridor. The roons were not 4 star for sure!
Dinner at Barra on Todd was fantastic and breakfast was everything you could ask for! The staff are very helpful and even had our shower recleaned when I mentioned rhe mould.

This is not up to the Mecure standard and should up date their rooms and fix the walls and paint in any other colour than off white.

Got a table at the last minute, really appreciated the staff sneaking us in on short notice. For the best food in Alice this is one of the 2 best places to go. And I couldnt pick a winner. It's an oasis of class, and civilisation in an amazing part of the country. Good selection of wines as well

I spent the night in a room with no heating. Zero degrees and zero sleep. When I mentioned it at checkout it was basically just my bad luck. 130 dollars to lie in a freezer. They offered me a 10 dollar breakfast as compensation! Nothing else. The Mecure was always my go to hotel when travelling Australia, never again

May not be a 5* hotel but lovely reception staff, friendly and efficient made us feel very welcome after a long drive. Nice room with the most powerful shower I have ever had. Quiet and cosy. Lovely bed. Food at the Barra on Todd restaurant is lovely with a comprehensive breakfast. For us the staff really made it for us.

Well furnished lovely rooms, however onsite laundry was quite expensive as was the heated indoor pool and unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the complimentary outdoor pool.

The place to stay to rest affer an off road trip in the Red Center. Swimming pool and q iii et resort in a greeny scenery.

Quite comfortable, well situated, convenient, pleasant, helpful staff, wi-fi was included, has a good pool. Accommodation was well priced. The food in the restaurant was good, but a little pricey (not terribly overpriced, but a little). I'd stay there again if I were in The Alice.

Had a great time with friends. Had been for a friend's bday and the staff treated us exceptionally well

Good place to stay. The food was good with nice fresh veggies. Simple and compact with everything handy.

Stayed here as the first part of our Red Centre trip with AAT Kings, in order to visit the highlights of Uluru etc, we then stayed a second night before travelled on the Ghan o/n train from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
Good location and services, very convenient for the local airport and the coach pick up/drop off and the railway station etc

Nettes Hotel nahe dem Zentrum von Alice springs. Grosszügige und saubere Zimmer. Alles sehr geräumig. Pool inklusive sehr netter Poolbar und ein grosses und gutes Restaurant. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Überall schnelles und gutes WLAN ohne Aufpreis.

Great location for accessing downtown Alice Springs! Room was clean and front desk staff very friendly.

Big airy rooms. Very clean. Barra on Todd restaurant was excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. This hotel is within walking distance of the town centre and very handy for everywhere by car.
