Mercure Alice Springs Resort

Room key wouldn't work for outside door, needed assistance from reception about air-conditioning but didn't get it, very rude response. Carpet sticky & stained in spots, over priced for what you get, also $35 per head for a buffet breakfast. No Foxtel.

BE CAREFULL. This Resort does NOT have onsite security which is astounding considering its Alice and its location.
Due to the increasing and ever ongoing youth crime, a number of Guests cars windows were smashed and cars broken into in the last couple of days. Be wary!

I travel with work to Alice. I always stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly.

Had a fantastic stay with the family.
Great dining room, had a lovely dinner.
Also has a pleasant pool and swim up bar

Bathrooms are old and rugged.need renovations.spacious rooms otherwise.one of the quilts had stains on it

Spent a week in Alice Springs decided to stay at Mercure. Terrible experience rooms never serviced. Blocked toilet.

We enjoyed our stay here. There was no room service during the Easter holidays, unless asked, but that didn’t bother us too much. The rooms felt a bit dated and air not too fresh, but overall clean and had hot water.

Very tired accomodation. Room service not available despite being advertised. Housekeeping didn’t even bother to make up our beds- pathetic. They just emptied the bin, didn’t touch the bathroom. Turn it up!
Went to the cardio room- when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth this equipment was hatched. Both treadmills out of service, absolutely pathetic. The prehistoric rowing machine spewed water from a broken drum. The broken water station and a stopped clock on the wall was the icing on the cake.
The rooms are dated and tired. This place is so disappointing.

Very average hotel, it’s fine for just a bed if you’re out and about in the day. The room was fairly big but outdated room and bathroom. Not super clean, little bits of mold in the bathroom and very noisy if the next door room has the shower on. It was nice to have a pool in the hot weather but again not very clean, and no outside toilet so you have to go through the restaurant where people are eating if you need the toilet round the pool. The staff at front desk were nice and helpful though.

Good spacious rooms (Palm). Neat and clean good service. Internet quality very poor. Some Old bathrooms equipment. Great breakfast!

Staying here for 3 nights with my elderly father. Both myself and dad are very impressed with the standard of accommodation, service and food. Staff are friendly went out of
their way to insure we were comfortable ànd had everything we needed. Would we come back again, absolutely

Pool ist nett, Personal freundlich, sie können ja nichts dafür: Zimmer wie Alcatraz, Bad müffelt, Teppich arg, rotten, alles ziemlich runtergekommen. Vorschlag: erst in die Stadt und umschauen und dann ins Hotel, das macht’s dann erträglich. Für eine Nacht.

Great location close to town. Service is very good in the dining area. Food not great but okay and the rooms were clean and tidy. It is looking a little tired but it is in a very good location. The pool was amazingly cool on such a hot day we were there which amazed us. They really need to have service around the pool area as we needed to come inside to get a drink and glasses were blowing off tables when vacated.

We've stayed here for a week, it's a nice place, we loved everything especially buffet breakfast before going on a day bus tour.

After contacting the hotel numerous times by phone and email I am still waiting for a response from the manager. Very poor customer service.

It was a nice place for a holiday staff were excellent, but they charged us double on the weekend, which should never happen

Pretty good for the price, old but we'll kept. Basic but that doesn't bother me. Staff were really good and friendly in general, helping me out when my employer made an error in the booking, fast reliable wifi, checked beds on arrival, new clean sheets, bathroom clean, returant was closed for repairs or something but all good, lots of places nearby to eat.would def stay here again.

They are about a 10-minute walk from the town centre. Our ground-level room was wheelchair accessible. The beds were comfortable. The shower had no rim 2 step over. This absence led 2 water goig over many of the bathroom tiles, making them slippery. There wasn't adequate shelfing in the bathroom. In the bedroom the lighting was ineffectually placed & some were broken. I'd say it was the other side of tired.

A great place to relax by the pool have a coffee recharge yourself for the next part of your travels.
