Litchfield National Park reviews
40One of the most special and magical places in the world! Beautiful landscapes, lots of interesting things to learn and do. It's definitely a life changing experience.
Don't know where to begin, all the falls& swimming spots are marvelous to offset the heat, we booked two nights then they said stay 3 & we'll give you the 4th free, what a bargain from Litchfield Tourist Park! Also really close to the NP. Toilets in excellent condition & at every site for changing clothes after a swim. All the roads throughout the park are in excellent condition 4wd not required.
So much to do and see. Go for a swim, do a bit of hiking and bring your lunch to sit under a cool shaded picknick area x
For all you countryside lovers this is the place to see with cathedral termite mounds, waterfalls and swimming holes with crisp clean running water that is just the thing on a warm humid day and the fish will swim with you.
Great swim at Florence Falls Litchfield Park today. Amazing place just incredible the facilities provide for tourists in this great country of ours Australia.
Stayed three nights at Wangi Falls and loved it. Spoilt for choice of swimming spots at Wangi Falls, Buley Rockpool, Florence Falls and Cascades. Sensational spots, clear water and so unexpected. Well worth a visit.
I love this national park as it has so much to offer on such small area. Main sights to see are the Wang Falls and the Rock Holes leading to the Florence Falls. Some smaller ones but definitely worth to stop for are the tin mine and the Table Swamps. The termite mounds in the beginning of the park make give your visit a memorable moment.
Great places to go on the weekend of when you have some time off, great water falls excellent place to go swimming and to cool off
April 2018. Great facilities and lots of great attractions.
Went back in June 2019. Great place clean and great facilities. So much better than Kakadu and free.
An amazing part of NT. We went on a spectacular day, which made the experience of the rock pools even better.left at about 8.30am and arrived shortly after 10. It does get busy with a lot of holiday makers/people out of town coming down, so get there early. The drive was straight forward, just follow the signs. Enjoy!
A fantastic National park of Darwin, Australia. Lots of wildlife and beautiful waterfalls as well as some interesting natural phenomena such as the termite mounds!
Beautiful park with lots of cool swimming areas, including Josephine Falls (lots of steps to get down to the swimming hole. OK on the way down but boy it's a killer on the way back up!). We took lunch with us, which was definitely a good idea.
This trip we just went to the Upper cascades. Bit of a hike up but was worth it to sit in the pools. One pool foe swimming. Recommend that you wear runners.
Beautiful nature, about two hours drives from Darwin. Some of the pools are closed for swimming during rainy season because of crocs. Ant hills, waterfalls and nature walks.worth a day's visit.
Simply beautiful. Some of my favorite swimming holes with easy access and croc free water. Hope to return one day.
Beautiful natural view, Green trees just awesome, however there’s no telephone network, please drive carefully as the road have many curves.
Nice place, really depends on the season though, during June it can get very busy and hard to get a park at some of the more popular sites
Beautiful national park. Wild and natural. Awesome places to swim with waterfalls and nice 4wd tracks
