Kings Canyon Walk reviews
39Fantastic place, must go back and take my time without time constraints. Pity some people do not respect the surroundings by carving names in trees and on rocks. Very sad.
Did the 3-4hr walk and it was incredible! I'm not used to doing big walks and although the 500 steps were challenging, over all this walk was just really enjoyable.
It was a very long drive to find out at the end of the walk that it was closed because of construction very disappointing
Walked the Rim Walk Track, sceneries changes all the time, never a full moment, you can learn a lot of stuff, feel the power that shaped the landscape, the two cliffs has a lot to say alongside their beautiful looks, layers of colour. Shouldn't miss this wonderful spot while you traveled long to Urlulu.
Get there early for sunrise! See some of the most amazing views. There are multiple walks, most are all day or longer.pack accordingly and enjoy. IT IS A must do. Get yourself fit. Get a good camera. And prepare for a gob smacking walk. There are views by the hundred that you will never forget.it can get really busy and extremely hot so get in early and enjoy!
An absolute must do. Get yourself fit. Get a good camera. And prepare for a gob smacking walk. There are views by the hundred that you will never forget.
Very nice route, unbelievable surroundings and views 10/10 for me! Maybe even better than Ayers Rock
A gorgeous hike in the morning — as you can see the reflections of sunlight play off the canyon wall. Get there early to beat the crowds — it’s a special place when you have it almost to yourself. Would also love to return at sunset to see the same from the top of the wall.
A good workout on the way up but it’s over before you know it.
Kings Canyon is a canyon in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is part of Watarrka National Park, about323 km (201 mi) southwest of Alice Springs. The walls of Kings Canyonare over 100 metres high, with Kings Creek at the bottom. Kings Canyonand the area around it is Aboriginal land.
Kings canyon was one of the most beautiful walks we did during our holiday in Australia. We recommend it!
Highly recommend doing this hike.get up early though and don't do it in middle of the day.you will need to be some what fit as you will enjoy it much more.
10 out of 10.6 km walk is the best and definitely must visit. Little bit hard at the beginning but then mostly flat. There are two additional walks to viewing points about 600m each. Both worth seeing, don't skip them. Breathtaking views and emotions you will never forget.
Very nice walk, beautiful landscapes.
We did it in 2h only, without any rush and in taking time for photos and videos
Amazing walk, amazing scenes. You need to do the full trek to appreciate it all. Hard on the joints at times but well worth it
Must be fit to do the rim walk a few people very stressed just trying to get up the stairs but worth the views. They also have some short walks or just enjoy the views from the car park nice dingos
Fantastic views make this challenging climb and walk worth while. Stunning rock formations with amazing views for those who wish to make the effort. Leave early, take plenty of water, wear a hat and proper walking shoes and you will be amply rewarded, however, you do have to be fit and mobile.
This is a great walk around and through the canyon can be hard take water and take your time if it’s hot
I've done the 4 hours walk. Must be in good physic condition. There is few more walks accessible to everyone. This is one of my favorite walk. Just amazing view. Don't miss the garden of hidden!
