Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Experience & Tours reviews
30What an amazing experience. Thanks Peter and Natasha for your insights, generosity, wisdom and welcome. Couldn’t recommend a better spent hour at Watarrke NP. Palya!
Excellent experience for our family of 4 - our hosts did a great job of making it informative and entertaining to both adults and kids - definitely worth it if you're in the area!
There are really no words that could adequately describe how incredible the Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Tour is. To be welcomed so warmly by Peter, Natasha, Debbie and Aaron and experience the oldest living culture on earth is such a privilege that my family considers quite literally one of the best experiences we've ever had! You really need to experience this for yourself in body and spirit to even begin to understand how important it is that we teach our children to honour and help keep culture alive.
We can't thank you enough, Palya!
The best cultural experience I have ever been part of. Natasha, Richard, Debbie and Anne Marie were so generous and open in their sharing of information about their culture. It was a very hands on tour and I loved every minute! Highly recommend!
It was a fantastic experience. Really wonderful hosts (Peter and Natasha). They were so enthusiastic about their culture and answered all our questions with great passion
This is so genuine, interesting and informative. Genuinely loved it. Hosts were amazing. Thank you for welcoming us on to your land.
Fantastic tour given by passionate and warm family showcasing some great insights into indigenous culture.
Incredible experience. Peter, Debbie and Aaron were so warm and welcoming. It was a privilege to share in their culture and traditions. A joyful experience from start to end!
Amazing, if your going to King's canyon would definitely find time for this tour. I did this with my family (several adults and 2 kids under 9) and they company was great, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I learnt a lot and am glad that I was able to experience this tour. It was about 25-30 minutes from the resort by car and the our tour went for around 90 minutes but we did ask a lot of questions. They have 4 time slots a day and you can book at the resort reception.
Thank you Karrke!
This event was brilliant. Well organised, well presented and overall very professional. Don't miss this at Kings Canyon
A great experience for my family (miss 9 + parents). Highlights were learning words in local language, bush tucker especially witchety grubs, and fire wire art. Auntie Natasha was a welcoming host and educator (and her ‘sons’ great hosts. We felt special.
Amazing experience! Natasha and Peter are kind and genuinely lovely people. They were willing to answer any questions we had.
The overall experience was very educational and both my partner and I learnt alot.
Thank you!
We were welcomed so warmly by Natasha, Peter, Debbie & Aaron as soon as we arrived and what followed was an amazing cultural experience we’ll never forget. We are so honoured that you have opened up your home country to us and shared your traditions and knowledge with us. Thank you so much, Palya!

Wow what an amazing experience. Peter, Deb, Aaron and Natasha were so welcoming and generous in sharing their culture. An experience we will absolutely recommend to others. Thanks so much, such a privilege to hear about your culture
Speechless. Such a beautiful and amazing tour. Anyone touring the area, this should definitely be first on your list on things to do. So warm and welcoming. Thanks so much again. Chaltu mäi
We have travelled a fair bit and I've been lucky enough to have had a some experiences with Aboriginal culture. This one was the best by far. If you're in the area and thinking about it, don't miss it. Palya Peter, Christine and Alma. Keep providing this opportunity for others to learn and share in your incredible culture.
If you are planning to visit Central Australia, this is a must do cultural tour! Peter, Christine and their family do an amazing job explaining their connection to country and share many fascinating insights (on language, traditions, bush foods, bush medicine) into how indigenous people have lived in this outwardly harsh, but stunningly beautiful, landscape for millenia. Fiona and I felt privileged to have had a chance to learn about the culture and traditions of the Luritja people on this tour. We look forward to visiting again, when we next have the opportunity travel to the region. Palya!
