Kakadu Tours and Travel

I booked this trip over the last few months online with Kaz Ferguson. I have felt listened to and supported with booking the life changing trips. Katherine trip. Kakadu trip and Litchfield. Kaz was absolutely amazing and thorough, polite, professional.kind and considerate throughout. I needed to change the pick up point within a day of travelling and this wasn’t a problem. A new itinery was sent within an hour. We had an amazing time and our expectations were exceeded. Thank you Kaz.

The Kakadu Cultural Tour day-trip into Arnhemland was awesome - goosebumps with some of the galleries we saw & realisation of the ancient Bininj clan & culture, all in a landscape of epic beauty. Thanks to Kaz for booking, Djabulukgu & Jason for taking the tour

We booked the Arnhemlander Tour with Kakadu Tours and Travels. The booking process was smooth and convenient with good and fast email exchange. Unfortunately there was a difficulty regarding the pick-up-point the day of the tour. However, the problem was solved quite fast and they supported us in a fast, fair and cooperative way. In the end, there was nothing to complain.
The tour itself was great and breathtaking! The guide had a good knowledge of the area, history and nature with lots of stories to tell.
We can absolutely recommend Kakadu Tours and Travel as well as the tour.

Kaz is so efficient! Haven’t got to NT yet. Going May 4th, cruise booked in Nitmiluk along the gorge later in the week but crocodiles have changed the itinerary. Kaz let us know today even though it’s a public holiday in NT to give us options. Much appreciated. So if the tour is as great as the service so far, we will be 2 happy travellers. Thanks.

Kaz at KTT is very patient and helpful. Really knows what she's doing and was a pleasure to deal with.

After 8 hours of driving we spent 2 hours at a water hole and picknick lunch and that was about it in terms of an “ outback NT experience”….

Did a 3 day Kakadu tour with Kakadu Tours and Travel in 2019, it was excellent so more than happy to be dealing with again. Return contact times are fantastic and nothing is a bother. Can’t wait to visit Tiwi.

I had pre booked a Nitmiluk sunset dinner cruise for my husband and I after friends strongly recommended this experience. Unfortunately as we were about to embark on our holiday my husband required unexpected and urgent quadruple heart by pass surgery. Although we had prepaid, Kaz from Kakadu Tours and Travel was extraordinarily understanding and gave us a full refund. At a time when lots of things weren’t going right, I really appreciated this moment of understanding. We hope to carry out our Kakadu experience once our health situation allows!

I had a wonderful day out with AAT Kings on their one day Kakadu tour from Darwin. Mark, the guide, was outstanding and the whole trip, especially the scenic flight and the Yellow River Cruise was worth the very long day. The pilot was wonderful, as was the red-headed boat guide (whose name I missed.) I found Karen at Kakadu Tours’ email communications to be abrupt, and I didn’t realise that I was booking an AAT Kings tour when I went through Kakadu Tours and Travel, or I would have booked directly. Overall though, a fantastic day out.

Karen is an absolutely fantastic booking agent who knows her stuff! We changed our plans to go on the Kakadu tour she recommended and we were not disappointed. The 3 day 4wd accom Kakadu tour is one not to be missed. Our tour guide was fantastic, he went above and beyond, and lives and breathes everything Kakadu. What a bonus staying in accommodation with an outdoor shower.

We originally booked a 3 day Kakadu and Arnhem Land Tour, together with a scenic flight over Kakadu, with Karen for May 2021, before embarking on a Darwin to Perth Tour, via the Kimberley, in motor homes.

Because of Covid and State Borders closing, all Tours in 2021 were cancelled.

Stayed in touch with Karen and in May/June 2022 completed both Tours.

Now home on the Sunshine Coast and our memories of the Kakadu and Arnhem Land Tour are the highlight of our adventures in NT and WA. The scenic flight is a must do, really compliments the ground tour and gives you an appreciation of the size and diversity of Kakadu.

Karen Ferguson is awesome, extremely friendly and efficient, nothing was a problem, an absolute pleasure to deal with.

From first hand experience, can highly recommend Karen and Kakadu Tours and Travel to take excellent care of all your travel requirements.

We did a day flight tour from Darwin to Kakadu with our exceptional guide Cameron. He shared so much information on the magical flight into Kakadu, so impressive. This was followed by a very impressive Yellow Water Cruise, lunch and trip to the Cooinda Cultural Centre. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and answering our many questions Cameron. Marg, Ian, Jan and Kev.

We had a time dependent and slightly different need to find an appropriate tour of Kakadu for six of us. Karen was excellent and made the process simple, even when we made changes. Will post some photos on return.

Easy to book, easy to pay and an incredible, once in a life time experience.
If your looking to experience Kakadu from a higher perspective, definitely recommend.

We booked a Kakadu day trip and scenic flight through Kakadu Tours and Travel. Karen was very responsive to our queries and we were very happy with the booking experience. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the tour six weeks out for personal reasons - Karen was again responsive and professional in handling the cancellation and arranging a refund, which we really appreciated. We will certainly be contacting her again to rebook when circumstances allow.
