Elkira Court Motel

Totally ok for a few days in Alice. The staff are super friendly and helpful, all the tips were great. The rooms are clean and sufficiently large.

Good price-performance ratio. Bathroom is older, but clean.
Everything within walking distance, except the airport.
Nice clean pool in the courtyard.
You feel safe

Deluxe room and bathroom with cockroaches! A shame! Dark carpet so you don't notice the cockroaches, but they are everywhere! Ugly!

Beware of bedbugs or other harmful insects

Establishment well located and completely closed from 7: 00 in the evening (do not arrive later). Composed of a wing with one floor and rooms on one level in front of which you can park your car, if someone has not already taken it before you!
Courteous welcome, no more, but that's enough.
My room (n°302) is large, with a bench outside, 2 beds, the usual accessories (fridge, television, kettle, toaster, ironing equipment) but nothing for cooking.
The bathroom has a sink on a fairly large and practical piece of furniture. On the other hand, the shower only has a very low-end fixed shower head and above all 2 taps, which does not facilitate adjustment. The toilets are in the bathroom.
There is a table on which we can work but it is uncomfortable because it is too high. Main criticism, apart from the following one, the large bay window does not have simple curtains to not be seen from the outside. There are only darkening curtains.
I was bitten by insects (bed bugs?) causing very large blisters on my arms for several days. Luckily my doctor had prescribed me an antibiotic before I left. Consequently, despite the advantages of this motel and its price (66 € in November), I do not recommend it at all.
Also note that it does not serve breakfast.

Rooms were clean with reasonable prices. Secure parking and pool. In a great spot in CBD of Alice Springs. Great for an overnighter.

A Horrifying Stay: A Cockroach Infested Nightmare!

Please never book this place because of the affordable price! From the moment I entered the hotel room we were greeted by an army of cockroaches, which came across the floor as if they owned the place. This place has a pest problem that they clearly had no intention of addressing. I can’t confirm but thinking that we will need to shampoo our hair with the anti bugs treatment. Please pay more and and don't get caught in such a disgusting place.

A great central place to stay in Alice if you don't have a car. The staff are warm, helpful and friendly.

Warning, stay away from this filthy place unless you want to find yourself sleeping in the middle of cockroaches roaming the room and sleeping on bedbug infested beds with filthy sheets with human hair, which I can guarantee are not yours. My wife was diagnosed with bedbug bites all over the body after spending a night here and now she is under treatment to ease the itchiness and skin lumps.
The staff won't acknowledge these facts as all they care about is your money.
At all costs avoid this place and rather spend a few more bucks in a more decent and far cleaner hotel.
Disgusting place and has nothing to do with the appearance but rather with the hygiene. Do not be fooled by what you see in the pictures in their website or hotel booking portals such as Trivago, etc.

Rooms were fairly priced, clean and presentable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Motel is centrally located and easy walk to supermarkets and some great bars.
Overall we'd stay here again.

Good Motel in Alice springs, I can in late driving from Adelaide but was helped in checkin. Neat room with everything needed. Just lacks water bottle.but can’t complain, so 5 stars

An ok place for a night. Room smelled a bit funny and I woke up with a rash on my arms and stomach, so I'm not sure what's going on with the cleaning products or bedsheets.

Pleasant stay, walking distance to most of the amenities in town. Unfortunately the crockery and cutlery had to be washed before use.

Really nice service, beautiful rooms, good located, can only recommend to stay there if you want to Explorer Alice springs!

Salt of the earth these people, makes me proud to be an Aussie when you strike ppl like this, black white or brindle theres no judgement here.

Friendly staff and great service. Ideally placed, just a few minutes walk to all shops and restaurants.

It's a good place for staying.near the restaurant and coles.
But I have no idea why some people are able to coming here to knock the door.

Ok place to stay apart from the screamer at the gate. Noisy street traffic but cars are secure at night. Gates locked at 7pm.

Fabulous location, walking distance to the mall. Clean and tidy, well appointed. Only issue parking is raffertys rules.

Staff are friendly and efficient, rooms are slightly rundown but very clean and cosy. WiFi is fast and reliable, good and convenient location to nearby shops and cafes.

Domestic staff friendly, thorough and abided by Covid by wearing of face masks and use of gloves. Reception staff - no.
I booked through Agoda - was overcharged and when queried via Elkira was told it wasn’t their issue. Agoda is uncontactable- no phone number and a limited auto chat service. Contacted Elkira again to advise of issue, Dan said he would look into it but I truly believe this won’t occur. Will write another review if the issue is resolved. I will not stay at Elkira again due to being overcharged, rude staff member and the reception staff not compliant with Covid directions.
