It is a hotel-motel with a swimming pool. Simple room, mini kitchen. To wash clothes you have to go to a laundromat, the safe is not working at the moment.

Amazing little motel, clean, secure and great pool with sailing and boat artefacts all around. Great value too for the location.

Great place to stay, conveniently located within walking distance of most attractions, and good value (for Darwin). Room was very comfortable, swimming pool great, pay-per-use washing machines and dryers, somewhat limited parking which should be booked in advance. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Nice spot on the waterfront. Very popular and packed out but service was friendly and food came in good time. Coffee was very good.

I told my wife it's like a colourful jail cell. I mean comfy enough and for the price, great value and full Foxtel access is pretty cool.

Currently staying at Capitanos. Boiling hot in the rooms. Air-conditioning won't go lower than 22 which does nothing in this weather. Can't sleep. No soap in bathroom except for a half used soap with hair on it

Great location, awesome staff so friendly. I was next to pool though and could here people outside at night chatting n enjoying themselves. Hey its a minor thing as we all on holiday but I was struggling with jet lag and sleep issues. Location though is amazing right slap in centre.

Very pleasant staff, who looked after us. Room for 6 great, enough room and a clean room with a workable kitchen and large balcony. Would come back again, nice pool as well.

The office staff and on-site caretaker were very pleasant - but unfortunately doesn’t make up for the state of my room.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by 3 cockroaches in my room, lots of ants, a dirty pair of underwear and a very mouldy bathroom.

Cockroaches were a very common problem during my 4 day stay - I was killing about 2 a day.

While I was in the bathroom, housekeeping decided to come in without any knocking or acknowledgment. Hearing your room door open while on the toilet isn’t great. My fan also looked like it was about to fall out of the roof, with exposed wiring.
With a bit a TLC, would be a great budget motel, unfortunately there were a number of issues that is holding it back.

Family room has one double bed and three single beds. Bathroom is clean. The lady in the reception was very friendly and helpful.

Great location, clean and well maintained, and the staff are considerate, fast to respond to requests/enquiries, and generous. I had a small issue with my room and mentioned it to reception and they went above and beyond and voluntarily swapped me to an even nicer room so that they could address the issue. It was a lot quieter than I expected for a CBD location. I would gladly stay again.

Leanne was very obliging & helpful which made for an enjoyable stay. Older rooms but well presented & maintained. Clean & comfortable beds, ample pillows. Good location & value for money.

Great place to stay in the centre of town. Good sized rooms and the pool is great. We stayed for just over a week and loved the location and the staff were super friendly

My favourite hotel in Darwin and I've stayed in the Hilton. Foxtel, roomy fridge, strong water pressure in the shower. Comfortable bed, balcony. Decent sized fridge. Staff our all friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the stay and will return again.

The room was very clean and presentable. The staff were very friendly and obliging. We were booked in at short notice so a big thank you. The location was perfect. We will definitely be staying there again. Very pleasant experience

Our stay at Capitanos was lovely. 15 mins stroll to city Center, restaurants and attractions. Nice room with comfy bed. Poll great to relax at the end of the day. Staff super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for a budget stay.

Great value for the price. Good location, our room was nicely equipped with amenities, and was very clean. Angela was super lovely throughout our stay as well. Would recommend booking directly for a nice deal!

All around amazing front staff, she was absolutely great to talk to and helped out so much with everything we needed. The location of the hotel is golden, it is extremely close to a lot of things to do around in the darwin city and is prime for being close to places to eat and drink. The rooms are stunning in every way, you get your own kitchenette and a TV with Foxtel already on it that you do not need to pay any extras for. The room is also extremely clean and tidy, it is noticeable that the rooms were recently deep cleaned which gave us peace of mind especially during COVID-19. In the kitchenette there were a decent range cutlery and kitchenware to use, the fridge it self was nicely stocked with milk satchels and there was tea bags and coffee easily accessible. The bathroom was greatly sanitised and cleaned by the staff which was really nice to see, there was soap and other necessities available for the bathroom. The hotel rooms have wonderful security with the only way to get on the premise is to have a room key which was greatly helpful for feeling safe at night, the rooms themselves have heavy door locks which can be a little loud while closing but are still really nice to know that it will not be easily broken into. With a little extra security the rooms had a small lockbox in them to put important possessions into while i was not in the room for safe keeping.all around the room is easily a 5/5 and i wouldn't rate it any lower.

Great place to stay. Rooms are clean, affordable and very close to city. If you are planning a big night on Mitchell Street, this is the place to stay. Staff are very helpful and friendly!
