Boab Caravan Park

Lovely park.well priced and located within walking distance to the Katherine hot springs. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

When you book donor take 17 or 34 Advertised as a powered park and pamphlet same Told when booked in unpowered near us They were under our windows Its a tired park The stinkpipe was next to our window Grass hardly mowed Nothing fixed Benches in laundry never wiped down Never swept the path outside toilets Could go on for ever Could be a nice park but did not seem intetested

This has been the most friendly and helpful place I have stayed in since I left home with our caravan in May. Boab is a relatively small van park but to my delight it is both grassy and shady, with concrete slabs for both van and annex. The bathrooms are very clean, and everything in this park is being lovingly maintained in good order. The swimming pool is small but deliciously cool, in contrast to the clear natural artesian springs which are in reasonable walking distance. The springs are beaut but they are warm, and on a hot day, cool is better. But the best thing about Boab is the caring staff who, despite the chaos created just now by the double jeopardy of school holidays and the Darwin COVID lockdown, continue to remain cheerful and helpful. Thank you Boab for making me feel safe, and at a home away from home!

Stayed 1 night. Huge sites on concrete slabs and plenty of grass to sit back and relax on. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff

My God we were so lucky to get a booking at this Park.
From where we have stayed previously which have been in most hideously unattended dry dust bowls!
Here we have watered lawns throughout, small sprinklers moved about all day.it's like an oasis in the desert!
Amenities older style but very clean & well serviced.
Camp kitchen is fabulous, lovely undercover seating.
Out front fuel & takeaway snacks also fresh & nice.
At double the price & plenty of staff Cooinda @ Kakadu should be ashamed of their pathetic offerings.
We'll done Boab.keep up the good work.

What a great park. Clean, tidy, and SUCH FRIENDLY STAFF. A true oasis. We have been here a few times and will stay again when we are in the area.

Friendly & very accommodating admin personal. Concrete for both van & annex, & very easy sites to back into, altho some tried to make it hard. Clean amenities. Clean laundry. The resident Great Bowerbird has his 'love shack' there too. Recommended!

Only used the service station section to buy / exchange Gas Bottle for our Motorhome. Friendly helpful staff.

Internet is good here with Telstra but other than that.mmm no, I wouldn't recommend this place, the showers have no pressure, and they charge top dollar. The people who run the place are money hungry. I'm leaving this morning. YAY!

Great park, highly recommend. Very spacious grassed sites. Amenities Very clean and big bonus pet friendly.

Pos-Very good set up caravan park. $50 being for 2 adults and 2 kids under 12. Very impressed with the layout, drive through vehicle sites, garden hoses connected to most site taps, drain for grey waste, green lawns, trees for shade, quiet area, amenities very well catered for. Highly recommend.
Neg-owners are Very cautious of all NSW travellers cause of Covid 19. They should be cautious of all travellers not just NSW. And they should be asking the proper questions and not dictating quarantine conditions, as they had no knowledge of how long we have been in the N. T.

Great little set up. Really enjoyed our overnighter and chat with the locals and owner. Allowed pets and was a comfy stay under a shady mango tree.

Clean park with good facilities. Only drawback is nightly ranting and ravings from local drunks and barking dogs. The police and council could help sort this for the owners and guests.

Second time here. Small but very clean and well organised park. Will stay again. Close to Katherine Country Club for great meals.

Could do more security wise. Would like to see stats of thefts from this park. Neither Management nor Police were interested as is a common occurrence.

Relatively new owners are awesome.so helpful friendly place is spotless.a concrete slab for caravan and tow vehicle.grass is luscious and green. A servo is at the front of van park with shop. Bbq's and spotless beauutiful pool.we are heading back for our 3td stay.love it.quiet.not far from golf and bowls club either.

Good location. Great bloke running the place. Noisy as night falls thanks to the 'locals". Can't fault the facilities.
