Berry Springs Waterhole reviews
45Absolutely loved this place, so beautiful. Easy for the kids to get to and enter the water. Lots of shade.
A clean and peaceful place to have a picnic with the family. Absolutely beautiful and a few choices to swim. A relaxing afternoon and will recommend to all the friends. Will be going back, for sure.
Water temp below warm but above cold, great spot to visit. Take your own food or use their BBQ's.
Take your own noid lke ir u can rent once there.
Really glad i visited. 45 minutes or so from Darwin, which was good if you don’t have time to get to Litchfield. Water was clear, warm and seemed safe. Great surroundings.
I loved this place. Sublime swimming. Only a short walk of a couple hundred meters from the car park. There’s 2 large, deep swimming holes - a main pool and a lower pool which is also pretty big. They’re connected by a lovely narrow shallow stream that you can meander down. Or there’s a track connecting the two swimming holes. BBQs, picnic tables & toilets. Easy drive from Darwin and half way to Litchfield National Park. Sealed road all the way now too.
Wow what a stunning spring and massive trail of assorted pools. They all meet each other through a stream you can travel down.
Top spring is very shallow and has small water fall.
Middle spring has shallow areas and is a big opened pool
Bottom spring not as many shallow areas, but I would say is the most stunning.
It's so big that even when busy you can find your own area.
Absolutely stunning piece of paradise out in the middle of nowhere. Just beautiful clear fresh water. Lots of places to sit and have a lunch, aswell as a bbq also. You definitely need a float though as the water can get quite deep. But a place that is a beautiful day out.
A beautiful and natural swimming location.
Parklands are green, cool and well kept.
Kiosk, toilets, BBQ & lots of picnic tables make it an ideal day use area.
How good is this place. Absolutely fantastic. There is a little kiosk making good coffee and sandwiches plus other sweet treats. Hot tip take a pool noodle for floating around in or hire one of the kiosk. Well worth the drive from Darwin with heaps of parking. There is also a tavern up the road so you can wash it down with a cold drink.
Fantastic day out to visit while in Darwin, it's only a 45 minute drive and definitely worth visiting.
It's family friendly, but recommend taking pool noodles or inflatable pool toys to float with as it's quite deep so you can relax while floating around.
Very picturesque and relaxing, highly recommended
A wonderful tranquil shady parkland perfect to cool off by the springs and have a lovely picnic under the big shady trees
Must see place in Darwin.plenty of car park. 3 level of crystal clear water.please no glasses or smoking.
What a magical location. It's a must visit.
Definitely take a pool noodle. It gets busy, so plan to get there early.
Well worth it
This place is really nice. Can be very busy at peak times. Lots of swimming. Very refreshing.
Little kiosk sells some basic food items, pool noodles and ice blocks. Lots of shade. Bring a picnic and spend the day. Shallow and deep water to suit different ages and swimming abilities.bring some goggles. Plenty of fish to see and other animals? ️
Super cool. Bring a pool noodle or rent one from the kiosk to float as it is fresh water and makes it hard to swim around.
Great spot for a dip, lovely grounds well maintained, neat clean beautiful tree canopy: so nice and shadey, 3 main areas to swimm in, can get very very busy during the weekend, and in tourist season, so timing is pot luck, also good clean amenities.highly recommend.gates open 8am or 8.30
Very refreshing with multiple areas for swimming close to each other. Set in beautiful shady gardens
Gr a at for picnic or bbq
Beautiful, clean and close to town.
Take your snorkle and floatie/noodle (although you can rent for $3, buy for $6 at the onsite kiosk).
Car park full but still lots of room to swim with 2 very large pools and top waterfall pool. Large grass shade picnic area, excellent refreshing water hole
