Bush pub and fuel like an old western movie is the scenery.about the only feature between here and Alice Springs lots of charm here.has opening hours so don't expect fuel 1st light.the road from here into Alice is flat and featureless so a break here makes sense. 4 stars

Best pub for miles. Great cold beer and plenty to look at while you stretch your legs during a long roadie!

Great service friendly staff. Amenities renovated. So much nicer to meet people that make you feel welcome. The pub is amazing being original my traveling partner remembers it from 30 years ago. Call in and stay good night's rest.

Amazing place to place to stay and the people are are even better! If you want an amazing vibe and even greater Aussie experience this place is the the one. For only a few dollars you get hot showers and great sunsets (not to mention awesome pub) the food is to die for and has oil lanterns to bring the vibe to the table. 5 stars

Aah Barrow Creek.we ended up at Barrow Creek and truely, for us, on of the most memorable Roadhouses along the stuart highway, relaxed, cosy, history and stories on the wall, basic rooms at a very fair price, eat at the bar, have a laugh and a drink.

Unique place run by truly wonderful people always eager to give you a hand. Stop by either to fill up your tank, have a drink and have a nice chat with the owners!

We hung around here all day, enjoyed talking to the locals running the road house. The old telegraph station was interesting. Had a good walk up the escarpment. Visited the old race course. And free camped here for the night.

Iconic outback pub at its best!
Make sure you have a chat to the barman- he has an endless supply of stories!

Do yourself a favour, don't pass this place by. Take a few hours to read the walls. Might as well have a beer or two while you're there

Looks better each time I visit. Something special about the atmosphere at Barrow Creek for sure.
Great service and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If ya going by.drop in n have a look at the history on the walls. Ask for a texta n be a part of it. You wont be sorry. Free camp or cheap powered sites and even motel rooms. And the sunsets are spectacular.

The place is completely run down. Big sign declares the place was established in 1932. Great! But it looks like zero maintainance has been conduct ever since it was established. I stopped here for fuel. Was glad to leave.
