Barrow Creek Hotel reviews
32Really nice old school pub and hotel. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and love to have a chat and laugh. Very cozy rooms and beds are definitely what you need after a long drive. 10/10
Fantastic outback pub full of character and the historic pub. The Falconio murder case is intriguing
A very tired and poor example of an outback pub. It has a store, but I didn't feel comfortable going in. Fuel was very expensive, however to stay in the car park overnight was free.
How would I describe the hotel: Desperate.
Another super quirky roadhouse with plenty of charm.
Definitely recommend stopping to stretch your legs and have a cheeky beer.
It's even worth it just to have a look around. There's so much history on the walls and the people running it were lovely. They were travellers who stopped to help out and fell in love with the place.
A quaint bar, friendly and hard working owner, extremely clean amenities.
Stop by and support a local, you won't regret it!
Helen was so funny behind the bar, Les was so awesome getting our powered sites set up, really great for pub in the absolute middle of nt thx guys it made our stop over so enjoyable
Lots of character. Be interesting to see after the renovations. Definitely worth stopping in for a cold one
Bit of a rundown roadhouse with diesel spewing out the hose as you fill.
Have to right your own litres down along with the $ amount.
Bar opens at mid day for 2 1/2 hours then again 4.30 for another couple of hours
The locals hanging around for opening time and we got there about 11am
Racist pub owners. Unfriendly service. Rude and was not happy to answer any queries that I had about the road ahead.
I think you’ll find that all the positive reviews are from white people (unsurprisingly). If you’re black just keep driving.
Bit tired and a lot of rubbish lying around. Staff helpful and friendly as we needed some help to change a tyre.
Stopped to change a flat on truck. White fella's there couldn't give a toss. Indigenous bloke helped out cost a 6 pack.
On of the greats, so much history and so much culture in such a small location.
Catch up with Les and Helen, they will make you feel at home.
Very interesting place. Friendly great service. If you like country hotels, this is the place to go.
Had the best time thankyou Les & Helen for having us great singer Scott Dann also Les also can sing what a voice. Clean amenities great outback pub. See again sometime
Booked in after a long drive to cold water shower. Not impressed. Then the bar for a not very cold $8.00 stubby.
Wow what an amazing place. $15 bucks for a powered site. Then you have this amazing pub with the beautiful Helen. Great atmosphere and memorabilia. Please support these people as they are amazing.
Cheers Elaine & Johnny.
Stopped for a night in the caravan park. Shower only luke warm. Was advised $20 for 2 at powered site within 5 minutes it became $25. Okay stop
Thanks Helen, I enjoyed your hospitality & a drink or two, at the bar & chatting to the locals. John & I also spent the night in your caravan park.
Funky yes, outback yes, but really nice people, really nice bathrooms, toilets etc basic, but cheap enough, great for an overnight stay. Power but no water,
