Banka Banka Station

Mate was trying to find out if they had space to which an employee/groundskeeper replies "not for people like you" and proceeds to stare daggers. Mate recently died his hair blonde not sure if there's any correlation but the response seems indicative to judgement based on my mates appearence.

Not a very welcoming place. Do better.

We had planned to stay here after a recommendation on our travels through the NT. Unfortunately our plans had to change and we organised a cancellation within the T&Cs. 2 months on and we are still waiting for our refund. I continue to get excuse after excuse from the eftpos being down to our phone lines are down. I understand the park is literally in the middle of no where but this is beyond a joke. Yes it is only a small amount of money but if this is a regular occurrence for cancellations I would imagine the business has made a wonderful profit off people giving up trying.

Was quite adequate for being a remote place. Would stay there again no probs. Friendly layed back place

Nice sites, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Convenient location if travelling down the Stuart highway. Very quiet in off season. Haven't been there in dry season.

This place is fabulous with many different styles of accommodation options and beautiful drinking water for your vans etc. A great stopover with friendly service and an awesome communal fire pit area to make new friends around

We go here every time we travel up through the centre. Entertainment most nights and yummy spring water. NEW Managers are very friendly. Plenty of room to park, $35 a night.
Can book powered sites, but have to be quick as they only have a few.

This is a beautiful place for an overnight stay. The hill top lookout gives you a great view at sunset & a clear sky allows for a relaxed evening of star gazing.

What a great place to camp, great price and great hot showers. Clean toilets and nice sunset.

No service made it better. Got to enjoy a view of the sunset from the hill, and listen to live country music around a fire at night. Only downside, one of the songs stuck in our heads for the rest of the trip. "If I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me? If I swore you were and angel, would you treat me like the devil tonight? "

Stayed here on our resent trip up to Darwin, loved it very friendly staff, and loved the happy hour with other caravaners.

I came through here when my ute carked it and the new managers were very nice and hospitable I will recommend this place to anyone it's pet and family friendly too

Great spot on a long lonely highway, if you can drive a bit further than Tennant Ck or 3 ways.

Great staff, amenities good, beer cold.

If you want power site, book way in advance.

Pet friendly overnight stop. Was told no pets in bar & fireplace area. We went for a walk up hill instead to viewing area. On returning noticed travellers with dogs in bar area. Was disappointing. Oh well

Loved it! Loved camping o under the stars, l9ved the atmosphere, night time music and beers around the campfire.walked to the lookout that had beautiful views.

Great little stopover on our way north heading to Mataranka Springs. The cattle and donkeys over the fence are friendly and we hand fed them carrots. Good grassy drive in our sites with power and water hook up. For best sites get in early as some sites on the outer edge looked a bit ordinary, but the middle area is great. Bit of a cool little pub and a nice walk up the hill to see the sunset. What more do you want for a stopover. And we were able to book online which was a bonus.

Loved this place. The people and atmosphere were more than we expected. Music in the evening how relaxing

Not a bad place to stay if you are in need of some camp-fire socialising and can sleep through the trucks roaring down the highway.
