6 of us booked the caravan park & we all found certain female staff very unfriendly in the reception area & not overly helpful, hopefully other people have a better experience than we did

As per many of the reviews below, the check in process was crazy slow, took 30min to get through 6 check ins with 3 staff at the counter. If it wasn’t for that I would have happily given 4 stars as the park was great except for that.

The check in was nice and quick and the amenities as well as the parking spot were great. Walking distance to the square. Great deal 3 nights pay 2. Highly recommended.

Lots of showers and bathrooms. Little shop at the front reception that sells tents, sleeping bags, stoves, gas, drink and ice-cream. Everything you need for camping. Bus stop is just outside the campsite. The gas station next door is one of the best places to get coffee, pies and Hot chips with gravy. Kitchen has 2 fridges, plug points and kettles along with bbq. The staff are very helpful too! Had a very good experience.

Trying to get into reception for 50 minutes so far. 4 people have gone in and 3 people have come out. Not the people I saw go in. Not good at all

Yeah, dunno.
They were clearly short staffed. Struggled to find a coffee at lunchtime in Yulara. Seemed like a very polite hot-mess mostly.
The showers were either hot or cold, not both.strange one, but I wasn't the only person who noticed.
The whole experience in the camp next to Australias largest landmark was a bit lacking. Albeit, I'd go back.the camp was fine.

Staff are extremely rude, we booked for 4 adults in a cabin no beds were made. Upon leaving the female staff person was so rude to us. I wouldn't stay here again.

Amazing, engages you in the vast dryness of the desert. With the nations highlight within sight of the campsites.

Massive kitchen with facility par expectations. I would definitely suggest camping if you are in doubt to choose between cabins and luxurious rooms!

Honestly can't say a bad thing, was a tad hesitate after reading some reviews, but after spending 3 nights here, completely loved the place, lovely staff, great clean amenities, huge sites, great prices and awesome activities, enjoyed the field of lights, camel tours, long walks and great weather, so much to do, we will be back, can't wait,

Campers and caravans and motorhomes, need to be spaced apart not all squashed in one area like sardines as i found yesterday on arrival. As a traveller i like to get sufficient nights rest and not be awakened by others talking all night. Considering the costs paid for security (place to park the vehicle) and quietness not a cheap campground $52 the night one adult and one child.

We stayed in the two bedroom cabin, it was comfortable and a good place to relax after spening time at the rock. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Very Expensive Camping Site. $52 dollars for 2 people just to park a Car with a roof tent on an unpowered site. And you have no views whatsoever.
To make matters worse we bought food to cook on the available bbqs and out of 3 bbqs available in our area, none of them worked and we had to throw away the food.
We complained to reception and he just told us there's nothing he can do. For the price I would have expected much better customer service.

Very disappointing!
Lots of reasons why I give this campground such a bad rating.
There are really just maybe 5 unpowered sites on the whole campground. We were sent to the last one available, which was basically just on a corner next to a road. No shade at all! After complaining, we had to get a powered site to at least get a little bit of shade. There could be no exception made, even though we told them we won’t use the power and we don’t need the power! Secondly the kitchen and the laundry is really far away. It’s basically 20 minutes of walking to get there. The camp kitchen is very badly equipped. No kettle, no stoves, no fans to keep the flies away. For this all the campground is really expensive. 43$ for an unpowered site, 52$ for a powered site. What a rip off! Worst campground experience we had so far!

Makes you feel like you are in an oasis in the middle to of a desert. It is a beautiful location with all the basic essential utility buildings. We stayed in a cabin that comfortable fit 6 people in bunk beds. Short drive to nearby cafes and shops. Can easily book other activities like camel rides and field of lights at the administration with helpful and friendly stuff.

Great place to stay and just around the corner from Ayers rock. Reasonable prices, clean and very friendly and accommodating staff.

Absolutely disappointing to stay at. Only 1 bbq out of many in the entire park works despite what the staff tell you. Cleaning of amenities was poor, and the pool had no shade and closed at 6pm. Very run down and short on staff was the excuse given. Theft is common and security consisted of a quick drive thru every few hours, without exiting his vehicle at all.

Great spot, close to Uluru. Good facilities - camp kitchen, bbq's and amenities. Though showers could use with a wider bench to put your things on!

It could definatley be better, very basic but toilets are clean, staff friendly. No dump point thou, its 2kms away from the site. Caravan site is small, but we did have some shade.
