Booked early, called 6 times to chang date, left messages, no reply. Arrived on correct date to find we could not fit into alloted site, a 7mtr motorhome, 4 sites, so small you cannot put out an awning. Very dissapointed at $57 per night power no water.

Have to pay $10 for power even if you don't use it. Barely any places without power for a campervan. There were plenty of powered spaces and you have to pay power.

Don't stay here! If possible, Please hear this warning! (u have now been told). Disappointed $57 a night for our powered site with water. 2 nights ago we had an uninvited local indigenous thief visit approximately at 245am in his late 50's at our caravan looking to steal things, when I busted him he said he was looking for his wife in which I bluntly told him off and he scattered. (Maybe his wife was already at the next caravan trying to steal, if she existed). Anyway the other people staying near by said a person with a similar age description entered a person's caravan the night before. They have a patrol that goes around but I noticed that after I seen this thief there was no more patrols. I know cos I couldn't sleep. We had a power outage while there also, not worth the anxiety or money, best to free camp somewhere. It has standard amenities and playground but just simply is a cash cow and nothing more. And don't leave your car unattended when visiting the rock, smashed glass on the ground at every main car park tells the story, not To mention the guys that came out of the bushes asking for smokes.just lucky we didn't go off for a walk at that one spot. Ularu is a beautiful rock and has a very spiritual feeling.until u see the small percentage of locals (I tell myself) disrespecting the area. Things need to change, I'm seriously saddened this once meaningful place has turned for the worst and looks to becoming the next Tennant Creek. Sincerely saddened by this experience my wife and young child had to see. I did not see one rehab facility, just like the lack of rehabilitation centres in tenant Creek, this problem is made worse by the alcohol restrictions imposed causing a lot to drink flask wine.there lay the problems, so while u contemplate visiting the nt over a glass of Shiraz or a schooner of beer have a look in the mirror and say let's help our next generation. I for one will always teach my kids about morals & principles.past present and future. Live long and free.never staying at yulara (ularu) ever again. We will camp on the side of the road

Expensive but good. Camo kitchen is reasonable although no stove tops or toaster. Kiosk out front on a morning band evening is one if the best and cheapest places to buy food in Yulara. Staff at Reception are very helpful and pleasant and shop is packed with useful items

A good campground caravan park with separate areas well laid out and amenities that are clean, covid compliant for visitors to Uluru who don’t want hotel room type of accommodations

Park it's self was OK plenty of space to park the caravan but thefts where high in the actual park.
Be sure to lock belongings up and keep valuables out of site

The camp ground itself if fine. However the workers live just over the sand dune and appear out of control. Loud music until 4am both nights we were there. Management need to get this fixed.

There is a nice lookout over Ularu, a small playground and a pool. We did not prebook and arrived at the same time as a large touring caravan group, which meant there was a wait checking in and all of the main sites were taken, though they were able to fit us in within the overflow area. This was flat and close to amenities, though does sit a little closer to the generators that power the area, which can be heard through the night in the overflow area, though area constant noise that you tend to block out after a while.

This camp ground is awesome.
Staff very helpful, We had a large site #90, right beside the toilets/showers also clean and had great water pressure.
Kids loved riding their bikes, had a friendly vibe,
Ps the rock is just spectacular in real life.

Roomy sites. Clean amenities which are well maintained. Playground and swimming pool well patronized. The grounds are clean and also well maintained.

Campground is exceptional considering its in the centre of the driest continent! Despite the red dirt, the amenities are about the best I have come across in the past 3 months travel through Qld & NT and a credit to the staff. Nice for a change to smell eucalyptus after they have been spotlessly cleaned. Although some sites are tight there are loads of powered ones, bbq areas, bins and a large laundry and clothes lines. A great viewing platform provides a terrific view of the Rock. I would certainly return here.

Expensive for what it is. Obviously having a monopoly make them skim on the simple things like extra hooks on the back of shower doors.

This place is luxurious with the resort, restaurants and everything in-between. But the thing is, all they want is. It's taking away Uluru's true beauty.

It started bad from the time we tried to book on line. The site wouldn't confirm the booking, so I phoned and had to leave a message. 2 days later I got a text saying to book online, so I tried again to book online but the site wouldn't confirm the booking. I phoned again and left a message about having trouble booking online. Got no reply. When we arrived they told us that we can get a none powered site for 2 nights $96
At the same time we were in the office another man was complaining because made a booking online for 3 nights but when he arrived they had no booking showing for him and he was peeved.
Ok we got in. Not a lot of shade and smallish site, but Ok. Free shows at the theatre including the cosmos and bush Tucker were good. Went for a shower at 8.30 pm and no hot water. So for the price we paid, what did we get? Well at least Hot water in the shower, but not even that. This place has left a bad impression with me. The only good things are location and the theatre. Not very good at all. Jim

Wanted to sleep in unpowered site, and as all was booked out try to purchase the overflow campground, and apperantly it is open only after they sold out all the sites they have. So or buy powered site in 57$ which i dont need or not stay there. Easy choice for me

Checked the website and tried to phone in a booking, but no response to phone calls or emails.

Apparently the only way is to arrive and check in at the reception office.

The " Overflow " camping area at the power station end of the Ayers Rock Camping Grounds is always open to travellers at $30/night/couple, with all the amenities and Ayers Rock Resort Pioneer bar/bottle shop available to you.

Very good value if you are on a budget here!

The toilets and showers are a credit to the staff in this environment.

Absolutely loved this campground. This is the second time we have camped here. Amenities are very clean, coffee van for your morning coffee, pet friendly and great size swimming pool. We were able to do all that we wanted - helicopter scenic tour and Sounds of Silence Dinner which were both amazing. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the check in staff were not warming, I’m not being awful but to get here most people have had a long drive or plane flight and to be welcomed with a smile and a polite conversation of maybe “how has your day been”? Welcome Andrea I’m Joe Blow? Would have been lovely. All it was were the formalities of your name, where your site is etc, went to pay and then was told we don’t take cash, paid by card which was fine but in the end - I was told stick this on your drawbar. Customer Service needs attention badly because I would hate to see the staff if they were under pressure and busy. As mentioned I don’t want to be awful but customer service is key, the lovely couple running the coffee van were so friendly maybe they should be working on the reception. We had previously come from another caravan park that was not that great amenities wise but the staff were amazing and it made all the difference.

Had a great stay here. Everything is a bit pricey down this way but don't let that put you off. This part of the country is a must see.
