Alice Springs Tourist Park reviews
55I am so happy I booked my stay here. Staff were so helpful and compassionate with helping me get an emergency booking 15mins before covid lockdown. I thoroughly recommend staying in this lovely caravan park
We stayed 2 nights and I highly recommend the Caravan Park. However on the first night my car was broken in to and I had my satchel including wallet and credit cards stolen. I take full responsibility for leaving my valuables in view in my locked car. The NT Police at the border gave us a friendly reminder of the issues in the NT that I didn’t heed. After discussions with the Manager he took on board my recommendations on signage around the park as a reminder for everyone to be vigilant when it comes to security. On a side note the NT Police were prompt, professional and did mention the circumstances were a result of the significant increase in domestic tourism.
Let’s all ensure we do not get complacent even in what we believe are secure Caravan parks.
The manager (or owner not sure) is racist.one of the staff told us that he recommended we not go to particular pubs his reason being that Indigenous people go there. (the staff member did not seem to see the problem with this either).
management was also rude and illogical when it came to other covid related issues leaving us homeless for a week while working in alice.
Highly recommended the cabins clean comfortable every thing you need just like at home & staff are so helpful 5stars from me. A Big Thank you Pat Fearon
Best Alice Springs located, equipped and safe caravan park. Amenities were clean and lovely hot showers. Shower blocks great. Laundry wonderful. Outdoor camp kitchen fabulous. Can't fault the park and probably one of the best we have stayed. Well done to lovely owners and fabulous staff.
Look, it's a caravan and tourist park. Not a hotel.
I'm giving this one top marks because it is well planned (e.g. Rocks on walkways stop people tracking dirt and dust in to the bathrooms where it gets wet and can thus create muddy mess).
The powered sites have ample space, and they will allocate based on you vehicle size (our travel companions have a motorhome while we have a 4wd and off-road camper trailer - and we were allocated different bays accordingly).
The staff are friendly and competent.
The bathrooms had actually been cleaned daily when we arrived. There is a boomgate and one way exit for vehicles.
Well established trees throughout provide shade and habitat for the local birds, adding to the ambience.
The bathrooms smelled faintly of bleach when we arrived in the afternoon, and were spotless. Something we have not experienced so far.
Even the bathroom stalls having walls to the floor (so you don't get acoustics or visuals from your bathroom neighbours!) Makes more of a difference than I realised.
First caravan/holiday park I'm giving 5/5 to. Litchfield tourist park will likely get 5/5 too, but none others on our trip have come close so far.
Definitely recommended by me.
And I hope your experience here is as pleasant as ours has been.
Stayed here a couple of times. Once you pay for site no hidden extras eg: paying for water, showers electricity
Very clean, easy access, very helpful staff.
Laundry facilities, pool, clean and modern bathroom facilities.
The staff will help you to get the van in and settled.
Thank you for the great service.
It is one of the better Caravan parks in Northern Alice Springs, with no noise, and high fences.
Our two friends, my wife and I arrived in Alice Springs on a Thursday after a couple of anxious day travelling from Adelaide with car issues.
Matt, Rachael and staff were very accommodating on our arrival finding two great sites side by side with no notice, and continued to manipulate booking to keep our sites available.
Their focus was on making the best of a bad situation whilst championing Alice as a great place to visit.
During the eight days of difficult dealing with the car issues, the Management and Staff at the Caravan Park were in the end, the highlight of our stay.
We thank all and will continue to recommend this park at every opportunity.
Garry and Chris Brown, Paul and Helen Maschgan.
Friendly staff clean amenities well set out camp kitchen. Quiet, i am going to stay there again.
So nice to have people care.
Great service and the accommodation was perfect. We stayed in 2 bedroom villa and it was of a very good standard and had everything we needed.
Would recommend to others.
We have stopped in here twice now travelling to and from Alice Springs. The staff are amazing and more than helpful. Facilities are very clean including the camp kitchen.
We stayed here twice, it was a green oasis in alot of red. Amenities are spotless, grounds very well maintained, pool fantatic after a day out. Staff friendly and helpful and the long term residents are knowledgeable about Alice and her surroundings.
As good as any park in Alice. Close in. Easy access. Friendly and helpful staff. Facilities we found adequate and clean
Lovely place with super friendly staff. Facilities are spotless and nice flat parking spot. The managers are really good people. We recommend 100%
Awesome place, great facilities and beautiful stay. The staff wete very helpful. Arrived with a broken trailer and the staff allowed us to make use of their welder for repairs the next morning. Very thankful and recommend a stay.
Great park close to town and Gillen club. Facilities clean. Park is dusty and dry like the rest of the country, but keeping things green where they can. Caravan power sites good, camp kitchens ok.
Helpful and friendly staff. Clean toilet and shower but didn't really like the shower head, great water pressure though. Camp kitchen has almost everything we need and there wasn't any wait for anything. Would come back again:)
Good Park. The Showers are old but clean. Wish reception would have advised us about the 10hr school zone up around the corner 7.00till5.00.very expensive. It was 1pm on the other side of loveridge drive with just one sign on footpath. 54ks speed.
The tourist park was great and the staff very happy to help. The queen bed rooms are very comfortable and good size. Had a very pleasant week. Thanks.
