Adelaide River Inn reviews
41Public bar outdoors. Great atmosphere, foods great, beers cold. Only gripe is kids meals a bit expensive.
Very basic. Bathroom small and not the cleanest, thin mattresses, paper thin curtains, fine for a place to crash. Used to backpackers. Restaurant had decent food which saved the rating.
Called in for lunch.
Had cold Beer.
Lunch was Just, schnitzel over cooked and chips. For a full price meal? Something wrong.
Great campground but the worst meal I have not eaten in the NT. Tasteless vegetables and overcooked fatty pork chops. I threw most of it away
Magic place for a lazy Sunday lunchtime run from Darwin.
Cold beer.
Nice food.
Excellent staff.
Food ok. Nice beer garden. Good stop off for a rest in between Darwin and Katherine. Home of Crocodile Dundee Buffalo so worth a visit for the photos.
Awesome place stopped their twice thats another stop on the list lots of history regarding World War II of Darwin.
Food was very disappointing, roast lamb tough vegetables cold and over cooked. Also have to keep an eye on bar charges, try to way over charge
Very disappointed with the food I was served from this restaurant, admittedly I did get a Sunday special, (lamb roast), the vegetables were ok but still slightly over cooked, but the roast itself was inedible, tuff like a gallah and when I confronted the "chef" lol, and asked for my money back was insulted and told to leave. After making the effort to ride the 100plus km from Darwin.never again for me
On the other hand how ever my two friends that I was with, one had a hamburger and the other a fish burger and their plates where completely empty when they were done and said they were very satisfied with their meals.
Dunno, maybe I'm just expecting to much these days but I won't ever stop in Adelaide River again
Good atmosphere, great beer garden, horrible loud music made it impossible to enjoy the sunset. Had to leave.
As usual a great place to visit and enjoy good food and a ice cold beer on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I will miss the place when I leave the NT to live down south.
Had small cabin at rear. Basic but okay. Staff friendly. Meals okay. Pleasant and just what we needed after a tent for 10 days.
Room was average, pretty sure there was bed bugs There was teeth floss on the chair in our room absolute treat (did re use), guy behind the bar was a massive legend though would stay again
Great cabins! Spotlessly clean!
Great camp grounds and fantastic service at the Pub.
The service station staff are rude and not customer friendly unfortunately!
What awesome pub 303 bar with Charlie the water buffalo "crocodile Dundee" and the food well what can I say mmmm try it for yourself
Welcoming place for and authentic remote Australia hospitality. Do not go there for luxury, rather for a genuine hospitality. Great portions of good food at the restaurant, including breakfast
The gardens are beautiful!
The care taker was an arrogant pig, rude, toilets hadn't been cleaned
Awesome place, compares with some of the best cabins I've stayed in. Helpful staff, clean room and decent location. Will definitely stay here again.
Historic 303 Bar with loads of memorabilia, raffles, good meals and a super cheap air conditioned room for the 2 of us with ensuite
Perfect overnighter, drive thru site & shady. Well maintained sites, green grass & clean amenities.
Pool was a welcome relief from current heatwave thru the top end.
The meals were 5star, loaded up plates of goodness. We had the Barra- 3 massive pieces along with a generous serve of chips & salad & we tried the special - braised steak which did not disappoint!
The servo at the entrance has everything you need at remote pricing.
Great location with good easy walks.
Lots of history in Adelaide River so don’t miss that.
