AAT Kings Tours reviews
46An overpriced glorified hop on hop off tourist bus with a few extra biscuits and cup of tea thrown in for an extra $50 on top of the hop on off buses. Don't do this tour if you want a culturally sensitive rich experience. Bus driver literally said " we have to acknowledge the Traditional custodians of this land, so now that we've done that, let's move on". Spent more time talking about the toilet upgrades than the local Anungu people. Tour guide who did try to explain local history was a foreign traveller who had been in Australia only for a few months and had an accent that was difficult to understand. I am all for overseas workers filling staff shortages and he was really nice and clearly passionate about learning about the area but I could not understand much of what he was saying. Staff all nice and friendly enough but I could not help feeling like the local communities tolerate tour buses like this rather than welcome them. I will try to book with indigenous owned company next time but unfortunately this was the only your available last minute. Buses left on time but confusing start with incorrect signage on all the buses so couldn't work out which tour is which. Perfect tour for enthusiastic photo snapping.
Cannot get answer on phone for 3 days waited about 55 min each time, am calling now and have so far waited 20 mins called to office yesterday girl advised she will email details, I still have no payment receipt and no details of our tour except we have to be at bus stop at 2: 35 pm. Still holding on phone at 4: 35.
NOT HAPPYJAN.
Big thankyou to staff on our King Canyon tour Monday 28th March. Rhys driver, Grace & Michelle who accompanied us on the Rim Walk. They all did such a great job and were all informative and extremely helpful throughout the tour. It’s a long day from Ayer’s Rock Resort with pick up at 4am and not returning until 5pm but they were cheerful and made the trip so interesting. Thankyou all so much from Peter & Karen Lavars
We’d like to see tip tin/ jars in buses for those who wish to tip the staff.
We had an issue with one of our guests and AAT Kings went completely out of their way to help us, above and beyond. Rochelle was a superstar we cant praise her professional and care in dealing with our medical issue. Thank you Rochelle and Team.
We did the Kata Tjuta and Uluru Sunrise tours and they were great, comfortable coaches, well prepared, Beatrice, Lucy and Hans were highly entertaining friendly and welcoming, they certainly made the tours more enjoyable. Recommended!
Had an amazing experience/ BBQ dinner under the stars at Uluru. Great food & opportunity to meet other people over a wine. The staff were really friendly & happy to answer questions. Would recommend!
Top notch team. If you want to visit Uluru, Ayers Rock and Kings Canyon take the tours with AAT Kings Tours. They made us feel right at home visiting an amazing part of Australia with the most informative history along your tour. They went out of their way to make sure everyone had an amazing experience.
Did the Valley of Winds tour, great morning, Jakob the tour guide was very helpful and most knowledgeable.
Sacred sites, Sunset, BBQ dinner and star gazing at the base of Uluru.
A magical experience.
9/10 for the vibe, the setting 10/10, the food should be vegetarian, the astrology section was cool, but all in all very quick
We went on the King's Canyon tour and can't recommend it enough. Very knowledgeable guide (Tachi) and driver (Dylan) describing the story of the land we travelled through. Hearty breakfast provided before the walk at local station. Stunning scenery on the rim walk. A long day but worth it!
We had a few great tours with AATKings, would definitely recommend. Our tour guide Dylan was great, kept everyone interested and entertained throughout.
Tour Sunset and Sacred sights. Uluru. 10.11.20.
We were in a tour of 8. We were 3 ladies on it. Jack our driver was fantastic, attentive and knowledgeable. One of our ladies was in a wheelchair. He couldn't do more for her. Glad we went on it. Thanks Jack again
Jakob took us on the Uluru Sacred Sights and BBQ Dinner, and it was an awesome experience! The team's knowledge and eagerness to help however they can made this trip wonderful. Thanks team!
Being unfriendly and casual made my Uluru trip be very bad. I waited for an hour, but I did n’t know which bus was mine. I did n’t participate in any journey, and all my money was lost.
Everything is expensive
If you want to come please think clearly
My loss was more than AUD 180. The other itineraries have changed as a result, and my mood has become very bad. I would not recommend this place again
If you are rich and want to spend money crazy and have a lot of time, I suggest you come and stay for a long time, it is normal for the travel bus to be late, and you can participate if you want to feel left behind but it is reasonable.
Thanks her letting me lose money, making me feel sorry, and making me feel bad
AAT kings have Ayres rock sewn up, The drivers are very informative and questions were not a problem. Cheers
Joe and Reece took us for the field of lights tour. Ripper blokes and would/have already recommend this tour.
My wife and I did the Kings Canyon tour and we both loved it. Alley the guide was really good, helped everyone on the 6k Walk the Rim She was patient with everyond as it was a tough climb and explained the history.
Dale the bus driver looked after the others on the smaller climb and his driving and knowledge of the history was great
The breakfast at Kings cattle station was first rate. Best bacon and sausages
Highly recommend this tour
We were on the Kata Tjuta & Valley of the Winds sunrise tour. AAT Kings guides are knowledgeable, professional & friendly. After a very hot walk, we were given cold wet towels which I thought was very thoughtful. The breakfast goodies bag was generous too.
We done 2 tours with AAT KINGS, Uluru Sunset and Kata Tjuta Sunrise and Valley of the Winds. Very knowledge and professional both times.
