Really great selection of frames and staff is extremely helpful. The optometrists are also very lovely. I have come here to get a number of prescriptions and annual eye checks. There’s often sales or deals that make it really good value to get a few frames.

The optometrist was nice when I went in about two years ago, but my "two years later" review of the glasses is that they are not good at all. Fully willing to admit that I may have made a mistake during the dreaded "1, or 2? " section of the exam but I've had many pairs of glasses in my life and only these ones have had problems.

They also didn't fit properly (too loose) and I had to take them back in to get tightened, which was a bit of a pain.

My personal perception was also that they were quite expensive - I asked if they had a deal (like a 2 pairs for $299 kind of thing that would be common at a chain optometrist) and they said they didn't, so it ended up costing a fair bit more than if I had gone to one of the chains.

Personally I wouldn't go back - I'm in the market for a new pair of glasses at the moment as I've tried to stick these ones out for a little while now but have found myself reaching for my old pair almost every time I go to get my glasses out.

Absolutely no ill will to this place whatsoever but I didn't have the same (clearly very good) experience as a lot of the rest of the reviewers.

This place is like no other. The staff are super friendly, they greet you with a smile, they are very patient while you are selecting your glasses, above all they are very accomodating.
I purchased a pair of reading glasses, not only did Lennon help with arranging a eye test he also got my glasses delivered to my Physiotherapy clinic in Drummoyne. These guys really go above and beyond to help their customers/clients.

Very happy with the quality of service provided by Zoom Optics both the Rodes and Macquarie Park branches.
I have been to both places and done business with both locations several times ordering contact lenses. Despite my high dioptries (- 9 and - 13), which are often presents a difficulty, this was never a problem for Zoom Optics. I am impressed with the level of professionalism and speed at which they operate (they are much faster than Specsavers).
Previously, I used to be a customer of Specsavers, but had a few too many issues so decided to switch to Zoom Optics. Since then, I have never looked back.

Good price points and good selection of glasses

Booking an appointment is very easy and when I got there a bit earlier than scheduled, they attended to me straight away. I’ve been going to Zoom Optics Rhodes for years and it’s always been a pleasant experience dealing with Lennon and the people there. Well recommended for anyone needing the services they offer.

The customer service is top notch.
You can tell the staff are properly trained and know their products. Their attention to detail is on point, and attentive. Professional and lovely.

Their pricing is excellent, covering low to high end specs.
The store is cosy, very clean and lighting is great.
They have a large designer range aside from normal specs.

When I entered the store I was greeted by friendly staff. I was with my kids, the staff were extremely chilled and friendly. They were able to entertain them whilst I shopped for a pair of Ray Ban sunnies. I also was able to set up a consultation for my wife to visit the optometrist as she required contact lenses. I ended up purchasing a pair of sunnies and ordering some contact lenses. A week or so later we went back and got some prescription lenses put in my wife's Bottega Veneta frames. Great assistance and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend them.

Stand out service at Zoom Optics. The staff were really helpful and patient. They didn't have the pair of specs I was after on the day, but they ordered it in and even had it posted to my house so I didn't need to come back. I've also recommended them to family and friends - they've all been happy customers too.
