YEATES Wines reviews
42Had a lovely experience at Yeates Wines so picturesque tranquil atmosphere and great service nice cheese grazing platter and wine too
Beautiful, comfortable room, lovely family-run business and at a great location. We had an absolutely amazing stay and their wine is fantastic! Thanks so much
Lovely family owned winery with sisters serving us at the cellar door. Nice wines, pretty setting. Would recommend.
An exquisite find, just outside of the town. An amazing selection of wines, impeccable service, and the most peaceful setting under vine leaves and overlooking a pond. Toys for the children and the friendliest dog in Mudgee!
A smaller family run winery with a beautiful cellar door. Family friendly and feels very comfortable walking into. A beautiful outdoor area to have tastings and staff are friendly.
Incredible wines and service by Edwina, beautiful place with great view. Must visit if you in Mudgee

Short Review: Great toasties (Can recommend for kiddies), nice drinks.
Long Review: This is a lovely family owned venue. Not only are all the drinks lovely, the food is up to par. With a Mexican music and food night once a month in summer, and with toasties all year round, this romantic quiet spot is the perfect place for a family or couple looking for wine tasting or a place for a bite!
Photos will be coming soon.
Our favourite wine experience in Mudgee. The cellar door was surprisingly modern yet homely, with a gorgeous outlook to the vineyard and little pond. Great tasting selection of wines that was complimented by some simple yet delicious food that can be purchased. Down to earth owners who’d just finished picking grapes that morning and had time for a welcoming chat. Highly recommend to add to your list of wineries to visit
This place is just beautiful! Stayed in the vine loft which is a beautiful room over looking the vineyard. Victoria, Edwina and Sandy are extremely nice and were happy to cater to anything we needed. Can't forget to mention Tipsy the beautiful dog, she was a pleasure! Would recommend this accommodation to everyone!
Mudgee is full of stunning wineries but Yeates wines is at the top for me. Simple, sophisticated, stunning. And such delicious wines. You must stop in and taste their wines under the vines.
We are currently staying over at the guesthouse and it’s an amazing stay! Such a lovely place and quite! Perfect for people who’s looking for a lazy holiday! The view was incredible for city folks. We had the night just to ourselves which we could take a walk to the pond and spot a kangaroo drinking from it.
Vicky is so friendly and helpful, lovely to talk to, and the picnic hamper is delicious! Will definitely come back for a relaxing holiday.
2nd time I have been here, so attentive, so lovely. Snacks are yum and setting is just gorgeous! Thanks so much
The most expensive wine tasting in Mudgee. $10 for just 4 glasses or $3.50 per 1 tasting glass, non refundable upon purchase. The tasting portions were smaller compared to other places and we weren't too impressed with the few wines that we tasted.
An incredibly beautiful, peaceful and refreshing vineyard. We enjoyed a 3 night stay in the gatehouse, the service we received was fantastic. Vicky and Edwina were so welcoming and friendly. The wine is refreshing and crisp; from their Albarino, Resiling and Rose; each wine had clean acidity. And don't pass on the cordial, it is an absolute winner. They also have a wonderfully sweet pup Tipsy which adds brownie points in my book.
This vineyard is located in the heart of wine country; it neighbours various other vineyards and additionally, is only a 5 minute into town.
Amazing experience at YEATES this weekend. Sandy and the team accommodated 4 adults, a tired toddler and a sleepy infant with open arms and beaming smiles. Some of the best wine we tried with Mudgee, with some amazing snacks to go with them.

Great setting for friends/family to unwind, whether it be by the fire, on the terrace or by the lake.
James was a good host, the toastie was simple but delicious and the full flight wine tasting was a great experience.
Highly recommend.
YEATES was such a gem in our weekend trip. We came here for an afternoon, enjoyed their selection of wines (some fantastic reds might I add) and enjoyed it with the platter. Lovely hosts, beautiful layout, amazing building. 100% come visit.
Visited Mudgee with a friend for the weekend and Yeates stood out as our favourite winery! Lovely setting - would be great on a sunny summer's day or a cold winter's day. Great service - we received a warm welcome, and really loved their wine as well!
