Woolworths Metro Newtown reviews
50Poor service. There is usually no one at the self service area and you would have to stand around awkwardly trying to flag the staffs attention. Also had an item double scan and the staff behind the counters were too busy chatting. When they finished they proceeded to serve the man who had seen me put his stuff on the counter and proceeded to slide in in front of me.
Compact store! Doesn’t have the extensive variety found in larger Woolies but you can still get all your basic needs here. Hot chickens and deli in store and healthy prepared ready to eat dishes. You can also grab a coffee & cake on the go. Convenient location with underground parking but a bit of a dog leg to exit the car park.
Extremely limited range and store stuff often not knowledgeable of stock available. Called ahead on two separate occasions to confirm a particular item was in stock and was reassured both items were only to arrive for those items nowhere to be found. Reliable for milk and bread hit or miss with any other shopping requirements.
Small to mid-size Woolworths on Erskinville road opposite the servo. Fairly limited range and typically high prices like most urban supermarkets. Extremely busy on weeknights, but convenient if you need the essentials.
Really nice little Woolies. I would love a larger selection, but it's a small store and you can't have everything. The best thing is being able to pay supermarket prices in a little neighbourhood store.
Funky little Metro Woolies store. Great too drop in for a quick bite as they have lots of pre-packaged breakfast/lumch/dinner and snacks. Only very tiny so very limited with the groceries that are stocked
Couldn’t park anywhere near the store. Didn’t even go inside. What sort of supermarket doesn’t have any parking? I drove around for 15 minutes then gave up
Really well designed, although the range of products is not massive. Either way, id rather shop at this woolworths than any other shopping center to date. But I have seen staff accidently knock down produce and stare at it before wandering off again.
Owing to public outcry against its establishment, they have attempted to make this Woollies into a kind of local, mid-sized grocery store. The selection is a bit sketchy, but they have a good range of organic products
