Woolworths Haymarket reviews
52 Clean, easy to navigate with all your essentials. Perfect to grab a quick ingredient dish and dash out.
Attendants were very friendly.
They have redone this shop. Good range of most used items. Deli and ready to go meals available. Also a great BWS in store.
On Saturday, 17th August, around 11.45 pm, encountered a really rude security guard. Near to closing time, he tells people "closing soon" in a patronizing tone. A bit of respect to customers is always appreciated. This "tough man" needs to learn how to treat customers with respect and learn how to talk.
EDIT: there is another lady working there with a horrible attitude, manners, unfortunately.
Ok for its size, can get the $1 litre woollies water and specials for 4 pack v energy drink ie $6.50 for over a litre. Wish it had existed when I was a uts student lol
You can always find great sales at this woolies, and is on the way to everywhere for whenever you want a snack. Ideal for anyone who works /studies nearby, not ideal for actual grocery shopping though.
It provides all of your daily needs including eatables, body care material and other stuff. Prices are reasonable and low, you can save money on many things on special occasions like Easter or other festival.
It's very close to my university hence its handful. However, they need more cheap options for university student as food.

This supermarket is located over Quay Street. Easy to notice on the roadside from a moving vehicle in normal traffic. Easily accessible and conveniently located.
Well managed, organised and nicely maintained.
Clean and hygienic atmosphere. Quality produce and fresh groceries although supply is limited to few selected brands.
Good for quick visits. Self-checkout kiosks are available. Limited staff.
Entrance is wheelchair accessible.
PayWave facility is available at this location.
I encountered a s racial discrimination by a staff in Woolworth.
When I finish my payment and go across a male staff, he stopped me and let me show the receipt with a weird reason that I didn’t bag my bananas. And then, after checking the machine and make sure I did pay it, he just say ok without apologies for his rude behavior, which is sucks.
I won’t go there anymore.
It was really difficult to find the entry to the store. Directions near where the Woolworths signage is would be appreciated. I shouldn't have had to ask where the door is on Quay Street while standing under your sign to find out I had to walk down the hill and turn left.
Rude female staff made me pack my own bags at the checkout like I was at Aldi. She then didnt ask me for my rewards card. When I gave her mine, she snatched it out of my hand. Then she didnt ask if I was collecting the promotional items, which I was for the kids.
Smaller Woolworths makes it easy to pop in and out quickly. BWS liquor store adjacent is well stocked
Located on the corner opposite the UTS library entrance. Has self-service check out and is a very clean!
Small but pretty good. Lots of meat is now the vacuum/shrink packed off site style and that's a bit unappealing, as i know it's shipped from out of state so its not as fresh as it used to be.
Very clean store, staff very knowledgeable about where to find what ur looking for service is very quick
There is a liqour store and they are racist. The security discriminates against people from other countries and mocks them.
Never again
I was surprised that Woolworths here in Sydney Australia is a big food supermarket. I am enjoying getting my food for the day while I am staying here in Sydney. I have also used the one in Balmain, where i am currently residing whilst I look round Sydney. It's cheaper for me to shop here rather than eating out every night.
This is a small Woolworths, so there is not that much to choose from. As there are a lot of other nice places to get fresh food in the area this one ranks quite low. Employees have not been very helpful.
Kleiner Woolworths in Chinatown, wo man aber fast alles bekommt was man braucht.
