Easily the best customer service. Lost 3 gift cards purchased last year and was able to get a reprint. Ami is very organised and helpful. Thank you again.

Convenient, large enough to have the essentials, but not a huge variety of other supplies, so you're stuck with the option they give you. Modern, clean, easy to get around.

The guy in the counter in the express checkout was a mess. All i had was a giftcard and he didnt even have the sense to guide a customer properly and was talking as in he was threatening me. Why do you guys put such juvenile people for customer service.

Difficult to find a staff if you need help and worst thing is I never found a thing at once there.worst woolies experience can be get from woolies metro Haymarket. They need more staff at the checkout. Only one staff is there for assistance at self checkout who is also serving at assisted checkout, counter. Today (November 18,2020) I wasted 15-20mins there to buy something important at the counter.

The worst experience I got from the checkout service today. I went there to claim the ooshie、but the asian woman staff said that she could not give me because the receipt is already one week old. I don't mind if I didn't get that ooshie but I don't like way she explained to me with those kind of stares (Unfriendly customer service). Come on it's just 2 ooshies but I have to go through that. Also they never mentioned in the receipt for how long we can claim for it.

Whilst I understand that store space is premium. I cannot understand why Metro Haymarket, on average, only stocks the lowest price coles products. No Herbert Adams pies, No PG tea and on a good day there might be one packet of Scotch fillet steak.

I might not understand the dynamics and profit margins. However, I won't be back as I'm unable to find the more premium products.

Shopping here is fun, the selection of meat and fresh produce is good, the store is clean and staff is lovely.

Got food poisoning from eating a box of sushi. Ended up visiting the toilet every 10 minutes, so not the greatest time for toilet paper to be out of stock constantly.

But the boxed hot food are pretty good. And loads of self-service.

The lady has a bad attitude and no customer service skills. First she was doing something on the computer, she finally served me throwing my veggies and fruits in the plastic bag she also didnt ask for my rewards card. I don’t know who she thinks she is, she has a long straight hair and tan skin

23/01/20 - Morning.

This store permits a person to sit at the front door, begging for money. When you do not give him money, he will yell and swear at you.

Without even speaking to this man, was called every name under the sun as I walked out because I didnt give him money.

When I turned to look at him as he was verbally abusing me, he stood up and walked over to the crossing where I was standing. I was abused for looking at him.

When I still refused to speak to him, stood with his face in my face, again swearing in anger.

The man was yelling at me for walking out with my phone and not calling police on the man who walked out with $100,000. He also told me that he lived here and that since I only visited, I should never come back.

A man had to literally stand between myself (who remained absolutely silent) and this screaming, cursing gentleman

I called the store to complain, and was placed on hold while being transferred.then placed on hold while being transferred.then told "i will tell the manager' *click*

23/01/20 - Afternoon

I returned to the store and spoke to the manager, who continually looked over my shoulder while nodding, or scrolling through his phone as I spoke.

I reiterated word for word what this man had said to me, and the manager seemed to be embarrassed as he kept looking around at customers nearby. I had stated that if you are uncomfortable with these words, imagine how I felt having them screamed at me on the street.

He did admit that he and the staff were aware of this man at the door, and that he usually sat there between 7am and 10am.

The manager states that he attempted to talk to the man, but he was gone by the time he went to the doors. He also stated that there is nothing he could do about this man, but would contact Council for advise.

I left without an apology.

24/01/20- Morning

With not having the man at the door, I decided to enter the store to purchase breakfast.

As I was leaving, noticed that the man was at the door which made me extremely nervous. I was hesitant to leave, and became anxious.

Until I saw that the manager I has spoken to the previous day was also walking towards the front door, so followed close behind him. The two men looked at each other and nodded, and the manager kept on walking directly beyond the man at the door to have a cigarette and have an energy drink.

Fortunately, I was not yelled at today - but honestly, I wont be returning to this store. This manager obviously cares very little about his customers.

One of the supermarket in Sydney where we can buy any goods, from chocolates, nuts, fruits, etc. They also provide Asian Food including product from Indonesia and Malaysia. And the price is good too.

Full of snacks at petrol station prices (like all Metros). Crazy busy all the time
If you can’t find chocolate bars, well they are all in the checkout aisle - and it’s stupid as people browsing bars block access to self checkouts

This lady at the checkout needs to stop acting like the woolworths belong to her and always double check the ticket prices saves you time.

It's great walking into a Woolies and being given attitude for something that the staff is too lazy to correct.

Badly organised and very little staff. The staff that were there were poorly trained. Multiple items came up under a different price compared to shelf labelling. When the manager was informed, she refused to give it for the display price despite it being their mistake and fault for labelling the items wrong. These items weren't even all sale items. Instead of taking responsibility and having customers leave happy, she simply reprimanded the staff as other customers I noticed started complaining about the same issue. Only reason why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I liked the variety of cold drinks you could purchase. Regardless never returning to this Woolworths again.

It is in essence a normal woolies but with lots of food to buy for lunch etc like fruit cups and sandwiches, a cheaper better 7/11. The prices are similar to 7/11 but a bit cheaper. Although the place does not have as much stock as a regular Woolworths. They lack cashiers and rely mostly on self serves. They also serve cigarettes at a specialized counter

A medium sized Woolworths with all the basic Woolworths amenities. However, some aisles are quite narrow, particularly the chocolate aisle which many people like to loiter. There have been recent improvements to the offerings of the store such as sushi. In general, a good Woolworths to go for a grocery shop.

Open till midnight! So much variety at affordable prices! Shouldn't be a surprise that I went there everyday throughout the duration off my trip in Sydney.
