I was sent here by centrelink to get back on track with work after jail.was assigned to a lovely woman named yasemin who has helped me with everything i need from work clothes and boots to helping me keep my centrelink pay when i struggled finding steady work.my experience with yasemin was very helpful and friendly, she definitely played a part in what gave me confidence to keep moving forward and achieve my goals.

My consultant and staff at Parramatta Wise Employment are really good in helping me to find work. I recommend them to anyone who is willing to work.
They are really on to finding the right suitable job for you.
They can concentrate on a long term job for you or a short term job for you.
I gave a five star for them because they deserve it.
They also work well as a team.

Absolutely a waste of time. Rope you in to sign up and then get offered the worst jobs imaginable. I'm a veteran with severe anxiety and signed up through the disability scheme and had my health statement completed. Only have ongoing casual jobs with pay that is a joke. There is no communication of circumstances with the employers as assessed by Centrelink and health care phycologist. Don't bother with this agency very disappointed with the service.

Not sure what's going on with the Parramatta folk. I can't quite work out what it is they do, but it didn't seem to have much to do with finding work. Especially compared with help I've received from the Richmond (Melbourne) office, they seem not to be too bothered at all.

The case managers and senior management are supremely polite understanding helpful and friendly.
They really care. They have been there for me when my life was in a very dark place. I owe them a lot. I believe the Wise team go above and beyond the call of duty. The best organisation in this field I have had the pleasure of working with.

Five stars all the way. Obviously the don't have control over an employer's final decision but very good at sourcing jobs and follow ups. Simplicity and patience is key

Worst Agency EVER
Lied to Centrelink
Lies straight to your face
Marthra looks like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth but while she is smiling she is knifing you in the back.
Considering they are dealing with people with severe Depression etc
It is the last thing people need to be screwed over by the ones they trust.

I rang up to ask a question & the receptionist had a bad attitude when I asked her why her attitude was so bad she hung up. How can someone get a job like this when they have such an attitude. Should be either sacked or moved to where she has no contact with the public. This is the type of people wise employs

Rude arrogant staff, They don't know how to talk to people they treat you as if you are completely stupid, They only care about themselves & have no interest in helping anyone get a job. They would rather just sit back & do the bare minimum they have to do.

Definitely thumbs up. I can’t comment on other people’s experience however after having worked in recruitment myself, I tend to notice how others go. I was allocated a case worker (Ceren) who I could tell was listening to me. She was confident in herself and what she would try to do to help me. Within the first week my name was put forward for several positions and before long I had an interview with an ideal position for what I was looking for. As for other comments about only in it for Government money. That’s the same with all job search providers. They get paid by the government to help the unemployed. After having dealt with another Agency owned by the IPA I had nothing but disgust for their lack of care and professionalism.
It was a big contrast to deal with Wise.

Very bad service provider and not worth the time! The staff are pretty unprofessional. Would give 0 stars if allowed.
Like another review mentioned, they just live on government money. Couldn't have said it better myself. Allow me to describe the process of using this agency.
You go and fill out 2 stacks of paper work, detailing your details and indicating that you agree with their terms and conditions. You tell them what kind of job you are willing/able to do and they look through Gumtree ads while you are there with them, and they call the advertiser or send the job ad to your email so you can apply for it at home.
I CAN DO ALL THIS AT HOME. Even if it is a requirement by Centrelink that job seekers come in, the so called 'services' provided by WISE Employment's staff are non-existent, and highly unprofessional. During my visit last week, my agent, while I was sitting there, she was looking though her desk which is fine, but she also said to her colleague Mary* across the table, "Can I grab a cigarette from you after this? " to which the reply was "Yes". Not only that, I am pretty sure their privacy policy you sign to, does not exist. I was with this agency a few years ago, and came back because centrelink allocated it to me. When I left I was told my details would be removed. Last week however when I went back, my new agent said to me "Mary (*Name changed) will still be your agent, but she's going home early today because she is sick. '
A few things.
The open plan fit out of the office is highly functionally unprofessional. The current layout means the job seekers sit in a chair placed next to the agent's rectangular table, facing the opposite direction to the agent. The workstations are grouped in 2s, the layout I just described are mirrored, so that the job seekers sit back to back and the agents face each other. There are no dividers so there is absolutely no privacy, the person sitting behind you can hear what you say and vice versa.
Second, the staff, from the receptionist as mentioned by another reviewer, are not professional. I don't mean their clothes. I mean their attitude. The agents on the computer, at least mine, act as if they are talking to each other while I am just a visitor that happens to be on the sidelines and listening in on their conversations. The fact that my new agent knew my old agent was Mary, means they obviously did not fully destroy my old documents. Also, if you are sick, stay home. Mary was sick and coughing and so was my agent. I was surprised and relieved I did not go home sick. On top of that, adding to my already poor impression of the staff there, they seem to be a bunch of unprofessional slacking smokers. Not a good thing especially when their tables are full of childish colourful stationery and there are 'inspirational' quotes on the walls to encourage job seekers.

To be honest these staff look no different to the job seekers that go there. The 2 agents I mentioned seem like dole bludgers themselves, except that their work is to take government money to get people to come off government money.ironic isn't it.

The receptionist is disorganised, when I checked in, I gave my first name, then last name, afterwards, she asked for my last name, (which was not surprising as she wasn't listening) and when I told her I just gave it to her, she said "Oh yes, I shouldn't have been listening to that"; she was referring to the conversation a job seeker was having on the phone at their computer/phone stations. WOW. Eavesdropping on other people's phone calls as a staff member?

If WISE Employment is funded by government money, then I suggest stop wasting the money on free wifi there, I mean, yes it is convenient for the visitors to have but it costs the government money.
Also, the only useful thing there is the computer and phone station that job seekers can use to find jobs, if they have no internet or phone access at home.
Also the address is 69 Phillip Street not 39 Macquarie Street Parramatta
