Wisdom Homes - Head Office

New managers, new admin and new policies everyday. Once you deposit your money you are trapped. Very poor communication and they never value your time. My first home was built with Wisdom homes in 2015 and I was very happy but I did a mistake when I decided to go with them again in 2017.

Received a phone call from Wisdom, sales person no longer with the business, Wisdom needs to look into further before refunding. We are now at 50 days since the full refund should have been processed.

So it’s now a week later and the 19th of March, no one from Wisdom has responded to this post, none of our customer service emails have been answered and no money has hit our account.

Original Post:
I am hoping that by posting on here that I will receive a refund of the $500 we are owed from January. We put a $2000 deposit on a Wisdom House and Land Package (Lot 1395 Emerald Hills) in mid-January.

On the 28th of January (a day before we were due to pay our 10% deposit) their sales person emailed us to advise that her boss was not happy that we had changed the house to a single-storey design and that our deposit would have to be refunded.

After many follow ups from us to the sales person, the refund finally processed on the 20th of February but for only $1500.

I emailed the sales person on the 22nd of February and 28th of February to arrange for the additional $500 to be refunded (with no response). On the 7th of March I emailed both the sales person and her boss to ask about the refund. I am yet to receive a response from either party.

The whole process has been a joke and we will certainly never be building with Wisdom. Best of luck to you if you decide to.

The Wisdom Experience is truly something else from start to finish. Having purchased a fair few project homes in Sydney and overseas, we have consistently been impressed with the team at Wisdom. From initial support to the final design touches. Couldn't recommend more.

Their display homes are beautiful. We have a home being built near us and it is going extremely fast. Salesman Scott is being very helpful

What a waste of 10 months. Yes, 10 months and that was just to get a quote to build our house! What a waste of $1500!

NOT pleased with my FIRST experience with buying House & Land Package from Wisdom Home. We signed the contract in April 2015 and the house was settled in September 2017 (3 months delay due to water leaking issue). Water leaking damages were exposed in October 2017 and the repair work hasn't been completed till now 2018!

For the admin team, they were NOT helpful when we asked quotation about adding one more living room. Huge delay hence we gave up! For the construction team, they changed site manager in the middle of construction period, which start giving me nightmare as the new site manager is NOT doing his work properly at all. The construction quality is not impressive. For the Customer Service team, they usually respond quick but not much helpful as they have no idea about the construction process.

I requested the compensation for loss of rent due to the delay caused by Wisdom Home but no reply! For anyone who does not want to have headache for your new house, please avoid Wisdom Home.
