Meeta D. (Home Finance Manager) at this Wetspac branch is by far the best lending manager ever. Have dealt with a few over the years and others don't come close. She's able to do so much more and things other lending managers cannot. Was able help us increase our borrowing power significantly so we can get a loan amount so we can purchase our property, process our paper work, etc.and patiently address all of our many queries about the loan application. Would recommend her to everyone needing a home loan.

FIND ANOTHER BANK!

Worst customer experience I have ever had with any company. Lazy, disinterested and unreasonable staff who refuse to serve their customers. You can do better as a customer. Changing banks takes minutes.

Poor service all around. Trying to make payment. Bad information given out. They don't listen and to the point of yelling at you the customer and making mistakes. The Asian woman with long black hair in a pony tail needs to take a lesson in customer service. You are representing a bank and not working for a take away shop. Rotate folks out of this bank. That's why banks are shutting down as we don't need people like you.

went in to get a new card and after wasting an hour of my life told me that they cant actually help me and i would have to call them.

Was served by a big guy looked islander decent (not sure) between 12.20pm to 12.35pm dated 13th Dec 2022. Was there to update my address as I can't update online and was asked to go to the branch to do it. Shown my address on driving license and the guy kept re-entering the exact format address as per my license although the system does not recognise it. Watching him try re-entering the same un-recognisable address for more than 4 times until I asked him to select the format available and just change the Building Block letter from A to I since only Block I. He did select the available address (block A) and saved it but only come back to try changing it after saving Block A address by re-entering the same unrecognised format of address. He then kept telling me he can't update the address for me because the system does not show it - well it does not mean you are excused to have the wrong address for me! - I then told him that the address is still wrong which need to be fixed. He then said " what do you want me to do? " - I responded "I can't tell you what to do because it is a system I don't work with" He then rejected to service me and asked me to go so he can serve someone else. This is an example of not a "can do" attitude, inability to "think outside the box" and bad problem solving skills.

Today I visited Macquarie branch to solve some issues relating to my account.
Swastik was very attentive, friendly and efficient. In 10 min all was solved.

I was trying to deposite some amount of money. The smart atm gave me an error asking me to go to tellers. There were only two tellers there, busy with long queue. They looked tired. One of them looked at the error slip the atm gave me and told me to wait at the waiting area. After a bit of wait, I was called into a room and the lady who was serving me asked me for driver's license. I told her I got digital license. She then replied: "no, we can't use those" with a condescending tone. I then proceeded to ask her about the error message the atm gave me. She replied: "we have to wait for a technician to come and have a look", again in the condescending tone. Ok! Your staff member clearly did not want me as a customer and gave me zero customer service. I will then take my business elsewhere. Bye!

Their “personal banker” Stephanie was super rude and unprofessional. No advice given at all, not even general enquiry. Simply saying she was busy, no experience

I opened a simple bank account in Westpac, which I was denied by the HSBC reception lady twice by different unreasonable reasons. She even asked me to book an appointment because she said no staff can help me atm, it was an hour before their official closing time!

Then I went down the Westpac bank, and had a very nice staff with good manner to help me. She helped me very promptly and settled down everything for me. She didn’t even rush me off when the time passes their closing time. She gave me lots of professional information and instructions.

We contacted the manager to organise an appointment to get our mortgage documents verified, she quickly responded and referred us to an employee name Puskal or Pascal, whatever his name was. The man must be lazy as it's been 2 days and he hasn't responded, surprisingly his senior manager, promptly responded within an hour. Looking at the reviews here, there seems to be negative reviews for him so I am not surprised.

As the mortgage documents had to be urgently finalised, we walked in and was served by an excellent, customer orientated lady named Sara, she immediately helped us get our documents sorted and sent. I wish I can do a separate review to give 5 stars for her service. Hope the bank employs people like her going forward.

Daniel Chen was really great. He literally stayed after hours waiting to accomodate me and never rushed to finish off the service. He patiently waited and explained everything in detail. Was genuinely surprised at the level of customer service in bank.

Where the security for the clients at this place? They lost my check that I deposited into my account. How is that EVEN possible? Does this place do background checks for their employees or just hire anyone and holds no accountability? SHAME

Bad experience at this branch.went to.deposit money and the machine took in 40$. After complaint an investigation was lodged and told the money would be put back in my account. Its been nearly one complete year and no money ever reflected. FAKE PROMISES
Went and opened a new account in another bank after being a loyal customer for years to westpac.

Pascal from this branch, a short mr. Bean look-a-like man, is the worst mannered customer service employee I’ve ever met. He doesn’t fully comprehend simple information and gets easily frustrated. His words we’re “don’t tell me how to do my job”. Spoken like an untrained and under deserving man who cannot remain professional for the life of him and probably got a managerial position via nepotism.

I know you are encouraging use of ATMs and being personable but please don't chit chat about life, the universe, and everything with customers while other people are waiting for the only two human tellers. Perhaps all the other people just sitting at desks by themselves could get up and assist people waiting?

The service is top notch, but waiting for it isn't.

Worst bankers ever. Very unprofessional service. They made me wait for 1 hour from 3PM and asked me to come back tomorrow quoting "We are closed for today ". They just had to verify my documents.

I went earlier to my local West Ryde branch where I had an encounter with a teller who was having a rough day, I had to exchange coins for notes, I had a few bags and for some reason the teller made it difficult for such a simple request that one might think, short story version I left disappointed and headed to Macquarie Centre, to see if they had the coin machine, at the entrance I was greeted by a lovely lady who I had explained what I needed and within seconds directed me to a teller by the name of Maan who helped out immensely, he did exactly what I needed to be done at the west Ryde branch, Macquarie Westpac branch service was great and was outta there within 10 minutess.cheers Maan 5 out 5

Terrible customer service! Lady on the phone didn't even pretend to try to resolve my issue. I was told to call back when some other team member is back in the office!
I then called headoffice and they helped me out straight away!
