28Do not apply with Westpac unless you want to lose your house/deposit! We had an awful experience applying with Westpac via a broker. We ended up losing the property and our deposit because of their delays! We escalated the application several times to no avail and had to keep extending the cooling off period until the vendor had enough and we had no choice but to pull out. We should have listened to early advice not to go with them but were enticed by a low interest rate.
I seem to be speaking to a Robot all the time; unable to get through to anyone to clarify / inquire on a topic. This is the third time which seems to point to a systemic issue on customer service. The advertised contact number suggest that I call 132032 if my call is "Urgent" but no one answers ; once again a dead end. Very disappointing!
Very impressive architecture and polite staff. I was served by Sonia just after I entered and she processed my request professionally in the quickest way.
Terrible customer service…the staff rushes you out and are not knowledgeable about their products. Not genuine and not helpful: (“it’s on our website” seems to be the only reply they give

Terrible! Came to open a westpac everyday account and get my corporate benefits applied as my company is a partner of westpac to be told they do not offer that service and never heard of it, yet they advertise it on their website! Furthermore all my colleagues have done it before anyways this branch really needs to get their information in order! Absolutely useless.
My 87 year old Dad needed assistance with his financial affairs. Jeevitha (Branch Manager) instantly acknowledged his frailty and offered him a chair/drink/snack whilst we waited, for which Dad and I are extremely grateful.

I've wasted about 5 hours setting up a business debit card, 4 hours canceling debit cards, about 24 hours with finance, and 4 hours with clarifying their eco credential lies. Debt card first, Im in sydney and the staff are in Melbourne. I had to sign documents in sydney, sent to melb snail mail, the staff had to set up accounts then org a specific time with a specific banker to sign docs then, send back to me snail me, then weeks later they get their cards.
Then both staff had to go and it took me another 3 attempts to even book a business banker to cancel their cards. Waited for 1 hour for them to do it.
Also have credit limit with them I wanted to transfer to another facility, I have
plenty of security and income, so you would think an easy deal.but no. Westpac wasted days of my time, 10 emails with 12 attachments requested, 24 pages of forms filled in, 5 phone calls, 60 mins waiting, 2 bank visits, had to deal with 9 different people. Not only that, they claim to be environmentally friendly but they were going to invest in the Adani Coal mine. Been a Westpac customer for 15 years, now I am leaving them for good. Do not do any banking with Westpac!
Building great, old fashion. Branch staff has great knowledge and they are very attentive. If you ever need to deal with westpack bank, that would be a good place to go. So far the most helpful employees from all the branches still open, highly recommended
Westpac is now firing all employees (including WFH) who refuse to submit to the harmful (often deadly) covid injection which is still experimental and in phase 3 trials until 2023. Blatant discrimination, not based on science. Boycott.
Very friendly staff. Whenever I walk in I always get greeted with a smile. The bankers always have time for me whenever anything needs to be done.

One Westpac banker told me it was because I didn't have enough personal income (not paying myself a salary as starting new business) easy fix I show other income or start paying myself a salary, the other Westpac Banker said it was that my new company
that had 48% monthly revenue growth did not have enough profit (because we are investing in growth). Not only that, they claim to be environmentally friendly but they were going to invest in the Adani Coal mine. Been a Westpac customer for 15 years, now I am leaving them for good. I was trying to set up a bank account for my company, after getting knocked back by two ridiculous guys at ANZ, being told that it would take 2 weeks at Commenwealth Bank, as well as the Bank of St. George telling me they didn't have enough documents, I stumbled into the Westpac branch on 341 George Street Sydney.
Being absolutely stunned by the beauty of the branch I ran into Keith Small who truly listened to my dilemma and was quick to assist me referring me to his partner Wonder Chakona.
They seated me in a top class board room on an elevated level in the Building. Equipped with the latest technology, they got the job done.
The staff are friendly in all regards, caring and very professional. Holly Rogers, Keith Small and Wonder Chakona assisted me after the Bank officially closed sacrificing their time, where others kick you out 5 min early before they actually close.
I left the Bank with a big smile on my face.
A life long customer won.

I would just like to make a complaint about the HR consultant Mona Saab, she was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone.
Had a refund that went missing since it was returned to a closed account. Got fantastic customer service from Charlene, who made the extra effort tracking it down
I work under a mortgage processing company and I am happy with my dealings between the varying staff at this branch. The service is adept and quite efficient; however, sometimes the bank does bit have enough tellers to accommodate a huge crowd. I hope this could be rectified.
Very incompetent staff, don't seem to really know their own products. Failed to set up my account properly. Couldn't enable telephone banking.
All I needed to do was a simple verification. It took me two attempts and lots of wasted time. Very tempted to change banks.
