WAK and all their staff are so wonderful and skilled. Sean is an amazing hairdresser, he was able to identify and correctly date my autoimmune disease with no background knowledge purely based off of thinning. Highly recommended!

I have been getting my hair done at WAK for nearly ten years and can’t fault the team. I have had my hair done by different stylists over the years and they have all been fantastic. They are professional, very talented and the salon is beautiful.

Hannah was great during the appointment (Sept '23) and I'm disappointed I can't get her to style cut my hair again. She is clearly skilled at balayage. However, the final colour was not what I asked for (very red at the roots which sits badly on my skin and is bad for grey regrowth, I asked for natural so it was low maintenance, and the blonde was darker, not a bright as we'd spoken about. And the 2 colours don't blend or look nice together). Both Hannah and the salon have been difficult in resolving a problem they acknowledge was their responsibility.

Hannah was so lovely when I messaged early Oct and said she'd book me in to fix it, and didn't. After 5 weeks I contacted the salon who offered to refund and rebook with another stylist. In Dec, Hannah admitted she didn't get the colour right because it was new product, and offered to book me in with a master stylist. And the salon made excuses for why they hadn't deposited a refund into the account I'd supplied details for (upon their request.

In early Jan, I messaged both salon and Hannah together who ignored my message. At this stage, my hair still looks pretty horrible and I'm out of pocket $400! Finally, after nearly 4 months, after more messages and requests for resolution from me, and excuses from them, they refunded the $50 for the deposi on the next appointment. That's it. No repair, no compensation to help me pay to rectify the issue. Bad hair for months, out of pocket $350 and wasted time trying to resolve it. This is my first negative review. What a waste of time and money, not to mention the embarrassment I feel with hair that doesn't suit me or look professional.

Amazing service, I’ve never felt more comfortable getting my makeup done. The salon is absolutely beautiful and such a vibe. Will definitely be back thanks so much guys

The best experience, very welcoming with an array of complimentary refreshments. You can tell the difference with the experience that these hair stylist have. Very happy with the results. Thank you I’ll be back for sure.

Every time I've been to WAK I've been greeted by their friendly staff. Sean knows my hair so well and always gets it right, even if I'm vague with my details. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been going to WAK for a while now and I can’t fault them. Tiah nails my hair every time and makes my experience in the salon fun and full of laughs too. Everyone in the salon is always so friendly and happy to help each other out (love to see it)

Wade & the team were a dream to work with for our wedding day & the lead up.
Tape extensions, root touch up & then wedding day hair/make up - all a 10/10 service.
The service they provided for mobile hair/make up at our accomodation was so impressive - making sure they could offer absolutely any help to make our day run smooth.

I have been going to WAK The Salon since 2017 and will not go anywhere else. I've had many changes to my hair in that time, from full head extensions, cutting into a bob, blonde to red and back and I've never had a bad experience. No matter who does my hair, they always do an exemplary job and ensure I'm satisfied before leaving the Salon. Shannon is my regular hairdresser now and they are always able to achieve exactly what I come in asking for, as well as providing a friendly atmosphere.

Wade was also able to accommodate me at short notice for hair and makeup for my wedding in a week's time - I don't trust anyone else to provide these services on such an important day!

Highly recommend WAK The Salon, you will not be disappointed!

I had my first appointment at WAK just this week, and I couldn’t recommend be more in awe and thankful for their services, making me feel comfortable and walked through the whole process. I came in with an idea, and Sean helped me find what was best for my hair, and made sure I felt heard and understood exactly what I wanted. I left feeling so much more myself, and being 37 weeks pregnant and feeling abit all over the place, it was nice to feel happy in my skin again and really happy with my new colour!
Thankful that WAK was recommended to me and that this is now my salon!

The service I received was Outstanding. I got my makeup and hair done at 10am for a 3pm wedding and the team made sure it was perfect and would last the day. Which it did! The team are so friendly and professional. 10/10
