Victoria Park Pool reviews
67Nice outdoor 50m swimming pool with showers, bar and gym and kids pool area. Very reasonable price. Staff is nice. One thing I didn't like was the quality of the water. We went on a Saturday afternoon in summer and the water tasted like sunscreen. I guess that's what you get in any busy pool.
Location, location, location. 50-m pool for lap swimming, all day nearly every day of the year, outdoors in Victoria Park in Central Sydney. AUD 6.50, and AUD 2 extra for locker (not returned to you after usage). Swimming experience is optimal. Also swimming / wading area for small children.
Unisex showers toilets and changing areas are basic and could use a little renovating, but everything works. Bring your own shampoo.
Friendly and clean outdoor pool in the heart of victoria park. Great for chilling or doing laps. You choose.
Wonderful place to swim and relax. Not much on the way of food options. But has basic chips and things.
A nine hatyare park around. Just adjoining the cream area of Sydney, The Broadway. The pool has drinking water, bathing showers and lucratively a Gym, Fitness Centre, Free Car Park 2 hours, 50 meters pool preheated. There is a party cum function room also. A pretty building with an attractive reception. Have very reasonable entry fee of maximum A$6.50 when Sydney sells a cup of coffee for 5 dollars convince that the public entertainment and sports is priority of council.
Used to be a great relaxing pool with double sized lanes until the Sydney City Council outsourced its outdoor pools to Belvravia Leisure and they ended that. Aggressive young managers at council and the pool told old, young and disabled complainants to go jump (in the pool, presumably).
Well maintained pool close to the city and Newtown. The pool is outdoors so occasionally, if there is a storm, the pool will be closed till lightning passes.
There is a cafe, gym and fairly clean changing facilities.
Good pool, happy to swim there.
