Very rude staff, if they could spend less time laughing at customer's name, they'll probably give a better massage.

I enjoyed my first visit. Very clean and relax environment. You can have a soft and smooth massage. The staffs are very polite and nice. They will ask you opinion frequently. The location is very close to townhall station which is easy to get there. Generally recommend to every body. Ps. Love the tea

This spa is a jewel in a concrete jungle.

The staff were very attentive and well mannered. They catered to all the small things which made the experience so relaxing.

My gf and I got the couple package for 130mins. The body scrub was divine which was perfectly coupled with a relaxing customised massage there after.

Grab a coupon and get even more value for your money. Worth the visit and highly recommend

Massage was pretty amazing! The overall feel of the whole experience - I'd say I've seen better. But if you're just after a good massage and scrub, it does a very good job!

Bought a Groupon coupon for my mum and I. Went to the place, looked very clean and nice. We booked with the preference of a female therapist, when we got there we did get asked if male and female were okay but we still chose 2 females instead. 10 mins foot scrub and massage was you dipping feet in warm water for 9mins and 30 seconds and 30 seconds of scrubbing. The massage for me was pretty good, the therapist asked where I would like to focus on and what pressure I would like. However the therapist for my mum was extremely disappointing, she never spoke to my mum regarding what pressure she liked/where she would like to focus. My mum said she wasn't professional in her massaging techniques, the massage felt like she was just being touched by another person that had little idea of what they were doing with no pressure at all even though mid way we told her to do it harder. Overall, would return however the inconsistency in staff experience made me give them only three stars.

Had a great time here with my best friend, the staff were so nice and did a really great job at our massages. The tea they gave us was so delicious - Im now obsessed with ginger tea- and the facilities were great. I thought it was going to be small but the rooms were really spacious with two beds and two seats. Would definitely recommend

HORRIBLE MASSAGE EXPERIENCE
My husband and I went for a 2hr couples massage which was a Valentines Day offer they had - included a 1hr fully body massage, 30min reflexology and 30 min Indian head massage. The reason why we booked Varda Spa is that the website said that they were an Elemis beauty salon, but what I discovered is that I am pretty sure that this salon doesn't use Elemis, but only advertises this on their website and has a few products on display, it is certainly not the Elemis experience I've had previously at Elemis accredited spas. To give further details of our experience, firstly, the facilities are within an office building, so already, suspicious started there. When we arrived, there were a number of staff waiting in the reception area. We were taken to our room which seemed OK. We were given robes, but no slippers for our feet. When we were asked to lie on the massage tables, it was not very comfortable as the head rest was not a raised like other massage tables I've been to.

The thai style massage itself though was NOT PLEASANT AT ALL. I had indicated that I like a medium firmness, but I found my therapist was too hard and when I indicated that I need it to be less firm, she lessened the firmness only slightly for a short period of time. I did not enjoy the experience at all, and even though our treatment was 2hrs as we had purchased, most of the time was spent on the full body massage, and less time on the reflexology and head massage. I didn't enjoy the head massage at all and felt like the therapist was going to tear my hair out with the way she was massaging.

The other aspect that I didn't enjoy is that whilst my face was either face down or covered for most of the time so I couldn't see my surrounds, the two therapists in the room were chatting in Thai to each other every now again in Thai and to the untrained ear it sounded like they were making comments to each other that didn't seem professional and at one stage I felt like there was a third staff member in the room, but of course, I couldn't see.

After the massage for the two days after, my husband and I feel sore from the massage, and feel that our therapists were too rough in their approach and perhaps not even properly trained as we seem to have sore muscles and aches from it which is not normal.

I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone, I would hardly call it a "Spa" and it should definitely not be branded as an Elemis Spa.

Easy to book. Reception staff speak excellent English. Environment inside is nice- music is relaxing. Massage was very good. Covered by Nib and other health funds in 2018. After 3 visits you become aVIP and get a 30% discount whic apparently does not run out.
