In my initial meeting with Neil I was impressed by not only his honesty, professionalism and industry experience but how he knew how important it was for me to build my dream home within budget! With the guidance of Turrell's Interior Designer Sharon, she made the colour selection process and all those decisions so much easier to make and I am really grateful that I was given the opportunity to have her services throughout the building process.

The construction phase was flawless, our Construction Manager Josh was outstanding and his attention to detail and communication through the build was excellent. Josh and his team hold themselves to a very high standard of workmanship and honestly treated the build of my house like it was their own.

Neil with his team did a great job integrating an Alfresco area to our house with quality inclusions and the finer details were looked after. Inclusions like quality Cedar sliding doors, recycled telegraph poles for support posts and rangehoods for BBQ vented outside with Velux sky lights. Their work has added value to our overall house whilst making it a great place to hang out with family and friends.
Any issues post the build they were quick to follow up and ensure everything was all ok.

Neil Turrell and his team rebuilt/redesigned our 6 bed acreage property. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship was outstanding. With the designer we were able to make best use of our site in a seamless design process. Both employees and contractors were highly professional and communication was perfect. The initial quote and final costs were very close. The detailed upfront work meant there were no major surprises. The end result was a transformed property with character and longevity.

About 7 years ago we were looking to rebuild our old house and eventually opted for Neil as he had the best suggestions when it came to keeping a lid on the unknowns in our budget. He also took the time to explain the process in detail even though we hadn't committed to anything yet. The whole procedure from design to completion was great and interesting but also challenging at times. When issues arose with the project manager towards the end of the build Neil stepped in and resolved everything quickly and efficiently. His people finished the job taking great care of every detail and making it an overall very satisfactory experience. We now have a wonderful new house that everyone admires and people keep asking who designed and built it, best compliment you can get.
After 5 years we are still very happy with it and to Neil’s credit, he fixed two issues that arose recently where other builders probably would have said: “Not my problem” or they may not even be in business anymore. That commitment sets him apart from other companies and makes me recommend him to anyone looking for a custom builder you can work with and trust.

Wow, what a journey it's been! After almost 11 months we're done!

Our home looks amazing & we'd like to thank Turrell for the awesome job they've done. We couldn't have asked for any more considering the circumstances & importantly, we were bang on budget!

Right throughout there have been external challenges thrown Turrell's way, but each time they found a way to deal with the matter. From Covid, to material shortages, rising prices; it's been relentless.

The outcome however is nothing short of remarkable. The quality of the materials, workmanship & attention to detail is second to none. Neil often went over & beyond for us, for which I'm very grateful. They were always happy to answer our calls and deal with each question, concern with professionalism and respect.

Could not speak more highly of Neil and the team at Turrell Building. Right from our early interactions we knew we had our fit - not only for the expertise but the genuine passion they had for building our dream home. We never felt like a ‘project’ but instead felt like partners to bring our dream to reality. The costing process had the right level of rigour and at the end of the project we were happy with the accuracy provided and the reasonableness in costing discussions, which during the fluctuations of COVID was no mean feat. Turrell did our renovation a couple of years ago now and they were outstanding. Neil and the team at Turrell Building recently completed a major internal renovation and external addition to our home just over twelve months ago. From the initial design stages right through to handover the team were professional, prompt and understanding- they turned out a finished product that met our design expectations and fell within our budget. We were particularly impressed with the products and external providers they recommended. Whether it was colour design, windows or kitchen cabinetry, working with these hand-picked professionals gave us peace of mind in the choices we were making. Even when some of the finishes did not stand the test of extreme weather, the response and fix up was both generous and prompt.

We completed a much anticipated extension/renovation with Turrell Building Services two yrs ago and couldn't be happier with the results. Having admired and researched Turrell's work along the way, we knew we wanted them to be our preferred builder. Having never coordinated building works on a property before it was important to me that I felt comfortable communicating with our builders and this was definitely the case with Turrell. Their price was competitive and along the way they suggested improvements to the design to ensure we were very happy with the end result. We engaged the services of Turrell Building Services Pty Ltd to undertake the building of our dream retirement home. This was the first time we had built and were swamped with warnings by friends of how fraught the project would be and dire warnings of all the problems we would encounter. We can honestly say that from the moment we met Neil Turrell we were impressed by his honesty and professionalism. He was always helpful and no problem was too small to discuss or sort out. He was always available when we needed to discuss anything with him and he made us feel that we were in the right hands.

Neil put together a highly professional team to work their magic. From their designer, who put up cheerfully with my design changes and suggestion, to his Construction Manager, Troy, who oversaw the whole project, to our Site Foreman, Damian, who was in charge of everything that was going on on site, we were in the most capable of hands. All their trades people were highly professional and knew exactly what their job was. Any problems or changes that came up were dealt with swiftly and professionally. The project was held up soon after start through a problem that was not evident at the time of signing of Contract, which delayed building progress. The team worked tirelessly to make up the lost time and delivered the completed project well within Contract. Any teething problems have been dealt with swiftly and to our satisfaction. We feel we belong to the Turrell Family as they continue to take an interest in how we are doing with the new house.

We would not hesitate to recommend Turrell Building Services for any project. We were so glad that we chose them and are now living in our beautiful new dream home with everything just how we imagined.

We had a difficult site with limited access which would have made the job physically so much harder for the builders on site. Not once did anyone complain or make us feel bad for the difficult conditions. Everyone was always positive and friendly; nothing was too much trouble.

From our very first meeting with Neil, we were given the impression that we were important to them. Every staff member that we have had any contact with was very friendly and it was clear in all dealing with this company that their customers/clients are important to them.

Troy who managed the whole process kept us informed all the way through the build and explaining everything we didn’t understand, was readily available and responded always to any contact we made. Troy made sure that the process was a good experience for us, looking out for our best interests, making decisions where his knowledge surpassed ours.

Brad who managed the build on site went over and above our expectations both in the building work and customer service. Brad is very skilful, and a great builder and we are grateful that he and his team built our house. He went over and above by far with the way that the house was handed back to us. We found things that Brad had done around the property after they had finished that we could not thank him enough for.

The 3rd party companies he recommended were very good, the guys on the ground did an excellent job and they have been very responsive in correcting the small niggles that always come up with projects of our size.
