Tucker Barbecues - the original BBQ Factory - Mona Vale

When we first started considering upgrading our outdoor area our first stop was the BBQ factory, Mona Vale as we'd purchased our original BBQ there about 20 years earlier. From the moment we started talking with Jo, we knew we were very capable hands. She quickly understood our needs and showed us options without any pressure.just willingly sharing knowledge and experience.
Darren visited a few days later to measure and finalise the quote. He also shared ideas of how to maximise the use of space and tips to improve the look and functionality.
The guys who came to do our installation were very efficient and extremely tidy. AND the installation was complete weeks before schedule.
From start to finish the service from the whole team was amazing and effortless.

Had a fantastic experience at the shop, choosing a new fireplace for one of our clients.

Fantastic Store! Anything and everything to do with. BBQ’s, also great range of outdoor kitchens, outdoor furniture, heaters, the list goes on, they can also install all the products they sell, really well run business.

Went here again fo BBQ bits to adapt to butane wand. Want to burn back weeds like Angela Strawbridge on Excape to the Chateau.

Simply the best BBQ, compare to cast iron, not in the race, the staff, brilliant, knowledgeable and most helpful and patience with dummies like me

The best customer service I have had in a very long time! Lovely sales assistant fixed my old BBQ hose free of charge and was incredibly friendly and helpful.

I purchased a Friar Tuck BBQ 6m ago from Tucker BBQs Mona Vale and whilst it seems to do the job, for such an expensive BBQ, the quality control and delivery process was poor.
Whilst some of the issues were resolved, some are ongoing.
My comments to Tucker at the time:
- Missing legs (not in original delivery)
- Right side Piezo ignition not working (poor installation)
- Screws cross threaded and not tight
- Quality control re the above?
- No lid fitting instructions
- Lid not secure/stable when closed
- Poor fitting cover (too small)
Bottom line – I remain disappointed with this purchase experience and would not recommend this product.

This place has the most helpful, caring, attentive and enthusiastic staff I’ve ever encountered. Especially in a store like this where I’m way out of my depth and have zero idea about anything bbq related, they are always there to help and make your experience wonderful. We were looking for a meat thermometer which unfortunately hadn’t come back in stock in time for Christmas (not their fault, just standard Christmas postage time antics) but one of the staff lent us his very own personal meat thermometer! There’s no way youd get that kind of service anywhere else! We are so happy we came here and highly recommend you do too. (To the lovely man that loaned the thermometer, if you’re reading this, I assure you we will bring it back and will be purchasing our own as soon as possible!) 10/10 wish I was an old bbq enthusiast dad so I had a reason to come here all the time

The BEST BBQ store I've been to in Sydney.

What makes them good is the range of BBQs, the convenience of delivery and set up, all the extras available (thermometers and wood chips + chunks and rubs etc).

But what makes them GREAT is the service.

Never felt like I was being 'sold' at. Never felt like I was rushed to get in and out the door. Every single time I was after anything, even when they thought I was just browsing, they gave me the time, patience, and info I needed to make the right decision.

And now I have the BBQ setup I've dreamed for over the last 3+ years.

PLUS they helped my wife decided on our outdoor furniture and design choices (I had no idea what they were talking about but she was happy).

I'm stoked these guys are just down the road from me. The best kind of people selling the stuff that powers my favourite hobby. Give them a try!

The guys here were extremely helpful. I was chasing a very unique part for my BBQ and these guys had it on the shelf ready to go. Everyone was very friendly and Darren was especially helpful when it came time to sort out all the complex fittings for me! 5/5 would definitely recommend

Wow.if you think good old customer service is dead, you are wrong! Go and see Darren at Tucker Barbecues. I needed some adjustments (and a replacement part) to a Gasmate portable BBQ. I purchased the BBQ elsewhere (online), and needed a local company to help me out. Darren went out of his way to assist me, and wouldn't take any payment! THANK YOU:)

After the huge storm on the 19/12 we finally have the internet connected so I am able to write a review on Tucker BBQ’s. They were recommended to us by another BBQ company. Had a problem with our Weber BabyQ and they couldn’t have been more helpful - had it fixed in minutes. No charge. I’d recommend them to everyone - super friendly and helpful. Thank you Tucker BBQ’s.

Good courteous service. However, a Couple of incorrect calls on gas bottle out of date, resulting in refusal to fill from over zealous lady.

The best customer service I have had in a very long time! A huge thanks to Darren for his help on sourcing some difficult to find injectors for my Tucker BBQ. I recently moved to the Gold Coast realising switching from Natural Gas to LPG I required some custom drilled injectors under a serious time crunch due to a housewarming party this weekend. Darren not only gave my colleague a set, he gave him 4 sets and the drill bit just to ensure we got it right. All at no charge! This is A+ customer service. I'll be a proud customer of The BBQ Factory in Mona Vale for years to come. Thanks Team!
