Be aware if you ever rent with these guys. I can’t even explain how much trouble we have had with them.

Our first issue was before we even got accepted for the place. So the 2bedroom was advertised for $480pw. We applied and then just before we got accepted we were told by the agent that all the other people who applied were willing to pay $500pw for the place since it was wanted by many. This was a lie because there wasn’t other people going for the place as the other agent told us there wasn’t so we should have a good chance at getting it. We also know it was a lie as the previous tenant was paying $500pw (my partner found out at the first house inspection because he spoke to the tenant) so they are basically committing fraud and false advertising. They thought they could manipulate us because we are young and first time renters. Red flag from the beginning.

Then, the place had no fly screens and no window coverings so it had absolutely no privacy and the landlord was not willing to provide any resolution for us, same with the real estate. Imagine in summer? Can’t open any windows because no fly screens and can’t block the sun out either.

Then, we paid rent on time every single week and towards the end of our lease our real estate agent said we could pay the rest of our rent all in one go at the end, but of course we got a call from them asking why our rent was late? Talk about lack of communication.

Now, almost one month and a half later we still haven’t had our bond lodged (which they said they did) so the real estate basically lied to us and never lodged it. So if we didn’t follow up literally every single day with no answers or staff not being able to provide us with answers we might have never gotten our bond back, or when? They ‘said’ it would be about 2 weeks.

They never call you back, are always in ‘meetings’ (that’s a joke) and they do not care about their customers and are completely money hungry.

Would not recommend Starr Partners (previously Tracey Roberts) to anyone unless they start picking their act up and learn how to run a business with integrity.

Hi, It is my personal opinion. I have dealt with about 4 people over there. Except Zac rest all of them tried to charge money for no reasons while I moved out of the property. When I contacted the cleaner he quoted $400 and one of the agents has increased the price to $460 which is very bad. I had to accept as I moved out of the state to different state. And they charged me a huge amount for a very small damage (that too it wasn't me who did that damage, as it is a old property it is tend to happen). They took 3 to 4 weeks to respond back when I asked for more photos to get the clarity.
Finally, I had a very bad experience with this agent.

What a quick response. Tracy Roberts prompt and decent people among the other real estate people ideal with.
With in an hour they gave result for my application. Others took more than 2 days.
Thank you Tracy Roberts

I am a tenant through Tracy Roberts Wentworthville and have been having bad experience with them. I am so frustrated with them that I had lodged a grievance against them with NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT). Its due for hearing. Hope you will not end in such a situation…

I am a Tenent with these guys since 16 months had a very bad experience with them, they are non-ethical they won’t accept their mistakes in agreement be sure to check your agreement at least twice before signing (they will cheat you, instead of 6 months extension they made it 12 months for us). The property manager Rose, she was so rude I believe she thinks Indians are dumb!

A tenant's worst nightmare.

Be sure to budget losing your bond when renting through these guys. The agent, and in my case, the landlord, were predatory.

I cleaned the property better than it was when I started the lease. I asked to attend the final inspection, but was deliberately not invited. This is not just rude, but illegal. By law a tenant must be invited to a final inspection to reach consensus and address minor issues ("dust in cupboards") and wear and tear on the spot. I now have to fight through the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal to recover my bond.

Perhaps cleaning and repair work is directed to "mates"?

Approximately monthly I was forced to allow entry to tradesmen to address warranty issues on the near new terrace. These should have been dealt with in the 10 months before I started my lease when the landlord was in residence.

Be very careful of the positive reviews below. For example, Rose Bouzoulas was the agent who leased me the property. There is a word for this: astroturfing.

Not sure what they're like selling houses but am renting with them, I have a stingy owner who won't pay for locks to our windows or our storage space (note that there are locks, made sure on inspection, but after signing the lease, moving in, found out no keys, given the excuse by this real estate agent that 'when the owners bought the house the locks didn't come with keys'. Yes.because that's a good excuse to not have our basic rights as tenants to have a secure home respected, pretty sure it's illegal, looking into going to the consumer trader & tenancy tribunal. I should be able to lock any potential entrances into my home. They were amazingly quick to point out we didn't have a right to withhold rent to pay for new locks, it's obvious they did not care and only interested in serving the owners who pay their bills. I can't afford to move, I even agreed to pay $15 more per week than advertised to secure the lease, it sucked. Renters beware.
