Top Point Cafe

This place is beyond amazing! Such a great setting for the whole family. I called Thursday to ask for a high tea to be arranged for Saturday. This was no problem to the friendly staff. The food was amazing tasty and hand made, the attentive staff made it the perfect birthday for my mum. Cannot recommend highly enough, great value for money too. Check it out! I’ll definitely be booking again!

Bit disappointed, my ham and cheese croissant was slightly warmed so the cheese hadn't melted and the spinach served on the side was an after thought that did not look fresh at all otherwise it is a lovely spot

Love the ambience, the location, (stroll through the Japanese gardens, view them from your table, visit the art gallery and gift shop) amenities are great, staff are pretty good, food and coffee are great

Just as well the food was lovely, because the service and attitude of one staff member was very average. We know we didn’t have a booking, but were told we could have a table, even though it was very hectic. Great. After 10 minutes our order was taken, then we waited, and waited and waited. Finally after an hour and 15 minutes my mother enquired after our drinks at least - the staff member was seen to roll her eyes at my mother’s enquiry by my husband. Our enquiry was not unwarranted, and other diners who had arrived long after us had been served and the restaurant was fast emptying. Finally, she came to explain the the system seemed to have not sent our order through to the kitchen, and when we dared to complain, she was sarcastic and said we had obviously never worked in hospitality - big mistake, my mother worked in hospitality for 20 years. The woman then had the audacity to blame us for not coming and checking with her! What! Just so she knows if she reads this, it is very poor form to blame your customers for trying to politely wait for their order. While I appreciated the free drinks and 10% discount, and the lovely apology from the young man who took my money, it will be a very long time before I darken their doors again. I am a local who has lived in the area my whole life and I have never been treated with such contempt by anybody.

A wonderful Cafe, excellent coffee with SUPER friendly staff. Definitely the go to Cafe on the Central Coast. Thoroughly recommended.

Inside the art gallery building which is the entry to Edogawa gardens. Sit in our out. We had the seafood plate for two, which is nice.

Beautiful free gardens but avoid the cafe at all cost - incredibly understaffed and got a terrible coffee and very average lemon meringue for 14 bucks.

Had lunch at this cafe with great service, staff were very friendly and looked after my group of friends and myself.
The food & coffee were delicious, was also covid safe will definitely be back!

Quite expensive. Just a soft drink was $5. Completely forgot a milkshake that was ordered and we were left waiting for a while. No apology for forgetting the order. Also brought my daughter the wrong flavoured macaron and when she questioned this politely was completely spoken over the top of and not listened to. Refused to bring us the one we ordered. Service was disappointing and prices expensive.

They serve great coffee and cakes. Would have rated them higher if their staff who took our order was friendlier and not rude.

Took half an hour to get our order taken, then another long wait to get it (1 slice of cheesecake and 3 coffees). I spoke with a local who said it was always slow service here but I also overheard a waitress saying they were understaffed today. Nevertheless the coffee And cheesecake were actually quite nice. If you come when it’s not busy it would be better

Waited just under an hour to get 3 coffees and 2 cakes then they brought the wrong drink for grandaughter (iced coffee instead of choc) then it took 15 mins to finally get that with some prompting) but the final insult was having to queue another 15 mins just to pay. Also people were wanting shade as a very hot day but 2 large tables sat empty with reserved signs from when we sat down at 10 until after 12 when we left surely people who book should give an approx e.t. A.so they can be used previous to that (can only give 2/10)

The coffee and cheesecake were lovely and the setting overlooking the Japanese garden was beautiful. However the service was very poor. A long wait until our order was taken and then another long wait for the coffee. People were leaving before ordering because it was so slow.
The atmosphere was very noisy and busy.

Delicious food and friendly staff with an ideal location adjacent to the Gosford regional art gallery. Two thumbs up!

I Started a Business networking group and approached the venue about hosting. They accepted and we held our first event there Yesterday.
The Food was Exceptional and the staff were so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.

We were with a bus group and the service was atrocious. The booking was made days before we arrived and nothing was prepared. We spent most of the time waiting for the food to arrive and we had next to no time to enjoy the garden.

Excellent location and a relaxing atmosphere, great service and reasonably priced with a wide selection of foods including awesome desserts, also has gluten free options

Super friendly staff and amazing location yet to try a main meal but is a must for my next visit the cookies superb
