Reassuring and easy to deal with.
John was easy to deal with throughout our sale. He understood and catered for the situation we were in and was reassuring the whole way through. John communicated clearly with us through the whole process and made our purchase as stress free as he could.

John and Alana clearly dont disclose information crucial to each others potential buyers, inhibiting their ability to close a sale with "someone" who has already transferred a 10% deposit. We had our offer accepted and they did not update the website to accurately reflect the situation. We were unaware that John, in isolation had exchanged with another buyer, and we only found out when we tried to organise a final viewing. It turns out that even Alana was unaware of this! Poor communication within the agency, and with buyers. A massive waste of our time. Dont deal with them if you want a pleasant experience buying your new house.

Thornton realty.where do I begin. I supose I should with the man himself, John. You can tell just by the looks of the man that he is going to be on your back for the entirety of the time you are using him although he expects and demands a quick response he and his bussiness can be rather lackluster in their comunication to the client, this can lead to problems such as plumbing being put off and becoming a much more major issue for the tenant. Overall this company has alot of things they need to work and untill they have rectified these problems you should steer clear of this realist company.

From a tenants perspective for the most part they were ok, always professional and friendly when we came into the office, and didn't really hit us with anything unexpected after the lease had ended, however sometimes their attention to detail and communication was a bit off, e.g Leaving doors unlocked and lights on all day after inspections we couldn't attend due to work. We had an issue with our plumbing that needed to be fixed and i came home to a 3 tonne excavator digging up our side path (which was how we got in and out of the house) with no notice at all.
There were a few other minor issues with getting the wrong dates and details at times but nothing note worthy.
Like i said all in all they were ok but there is room for improvement.

The Landlord and agent combination never gave us a pleasant experience. Never did maintenance on property while we were in it, our kids got injured because of neglected maintenance. They just basically don't care about the tennant, and do as little as possible. The problem is the agents loyalties are split and they have to keep the landlord happy and prefer to do this at the expence of the tennant. This review is particularly relating to our experience with Darren.

John and Alana where a pleasure to work with. They both kept their word at all times, provided timely and clear communication, provided what was clearly the right advice, showed great energy and drive in ensuring that both ourselves as the vendor and the successful buyer were happy with the outcome, along with ensuring that ethics and morals where upheld at all times - very happy with both John and Alana's efforts and way of doing their job)

From the moment we met John, we felt very comfortable with his friendly approach. We were extremely impressed with his experience and ability to advise us about the process and made it less stressful. We were also very impressed with the way, the open house was advertised. The thing that mattered to us was the constant communication until the property was sold, and in the process, he reflected high level of professionalism and an eye to the detail which we hardly see dealing with many agents in the real estate industry. We liked the fact how he never insisted us in this difficult time of covid-19 to sell our property at a reduced price. He respected the worth of our property and gave us honest advice about what the market was reflecting with presentation of all the data. AMAZING and informative service
John was AMAZING. He really listened to what we were looking for in our new house.
His communication is above any other agents iv met. We were constantly getting emails from John with updates on the market and the new house's coming to market. It actually felt like John was working for us. He was always getting us into houses to look at. He did have a house that was prefect and he helped us secure it. No other agents made us feel this understood and safe buying with them.

Excellent service, kept us informed all the time and during a walk through, the property manager suggested some minor things that could be done while the property was empty. The property manager organized these services plus a couple of extra services we wanted done before the new tenant moved in a very limited time frame. A job well done.

We chose John to sell our house because he was the only agent who made me feel he was a professional from the moment we met him. He arrived prepared with lots of information on the property market in the area for similar properties to ours, gave a realistic valuation of the house based on what had been happening with the market and not just some figure he pulled out of thin air like some other agents seemed to. John is an excellent real estate agent. He's honest, proactive and very easy to communicate with. We've had experiences with other agents who have been pushy with cringeworthy sales practices.
