The Second Home Cafe reviews
54Really great cafe! Food, coffee, service, its all good. Serving Campos coffee which is a delicious blend
Didn't live up to reviews. One coffee undrinkable, heaps of menu items unavailable with little apology and service lacklustre!
Great serving sizes for brunch. Coffee could use some refining but very welcoming and relaxed place to meet and enjoy food and friends.
Good food and great coffee. Excellent representation of the campos brand. Definatly the best coffee in Richmond.
This is always a treat to visit. Great menu items, fantastic outside eating area. Staff are always happy and helpful and service is quick. Big breakfast is the best
Had breakfast here this morning, very well priced meals. Great portion sizes, value for money. The coffee is quite nice. Staff are very friendly and responsive to customers who walk in for take always or sit down for a brew and or meal!
Amazing coffee but most importantly it's consistent every visit.
All the staff are friendly, my choice for the local Cafe!
The food is fantastic! No qualms there, however they need a table service order in place. Messed up 1 order and tried to say it was what we asked for but props to the we'll fix it and be right back.
Staff were great. Food not so much. Great presentation for the meals and store. Like the stores name suggests it very homely. At $18 the Pancake were slightly over cooked and the toast for the smashed avo was rock hard. Over all not a great experience. Not a big menu which makes choice easy but they could of put more options for the pancakes. Dinner menu looks interesting and would give them a second chance for that.
We’re house sitting in Richmond for a couple of weeks and luckily found this cafe right at the start of our stay. This is now our go- to cafe for coffee and cake and it’s consistently excellent. The coffee is outstanding, nice selection of cakes and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Very pleasant area through to the back of the cafe. Can highly recommend!
Beautiful cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Perfectly paired decor and amazing coffee too. Friendly staff who will go above and beyond for you. Definitely my new local
Rocked up at 3pm half hour before close and refused service! What’s the point in having opening hours
Delicious food. A bit pricey for the area, comparable to newtown cafe prices, but well worth it. Soraya has good service. Nice atmosphere too
I've supported this cafe since it opened. The service is slowly declining i sat and waited for someone to take my order eventually i had to approach the counter staff to place my order. They were not busy. Then they forgot to deliver some items of my order. Oanother time i wanted sit in the court yard but all the empty tables had dirty plates and the staff would just walk past these tables with out clearing them. This cafe needs to have a professional supervisor on shift. If this level of service continues i will not be back
