The Remnant Warehouse Fabric Store Sydney

The remnant warehouse store is a great place to buy fabrics but I just want to warn anyone planning to purchase SKU: Retro Fleece, Marle Burgundy. I purchased a couple of metres and made a zip front jacket. I washed the fabric previous to making but after 2 washes it's still leaching dye. May be best not to purchase this particular fabric. I'm going to turn pink each time I wear it & will have to wear a very dark colour underneath.

Visited yesterday, bought some lovely pieces. Nice friendly, helpful staff. Im down from the Gold Coast but will consider buying online or when I visit Sydney again.

Really good selection of cotton and linen fabrics and the staff is knowledgeable. Online shopping service is also easy - be sure to order sample of fabrics before ordering online as they can’t be exchanged once cut.
Parking in the area can be a bit tricky as it’s a busy road.

I only visit this store because of its location. Given there are more availability in this suburb, I’ll definitely won’t shop in this place and tell others to do the same. The staff here are rude and pricing is inconsistent. Recently, I need to visit for the same product that I’ve bought over the last 3 months for an academic project but each time I’ve noticed it's priced differently! I’ve been told because they source the same thing from multiple suppliers, you’ll pay different pricing!  I 've noticed that I was charged a higher price and complained.   During the conversation, I've been told off that I should have taken a picture of the previous product that I bought to avoid confusion. Having previous bad experiences with this store, I always physically brought a sample of the product with me to avoid misunderstanding. On this occasion I got told off by a very forceful staff member in front of her other customers that I should have reminded her of the price that I was charged last month.  The staff in this place basically don’t care about their customers and you’re always in the wrong regardless of your concerns. I was referred to this shop from a classmate but I always get a bad taste in my mouth each time I visit.

I definitely won’t visit again. I rather travel further to other retailers who will treat you like a value customer. I don't know how this place trains their staff!

I'm always buying fabrics for my projects from the online store, and i've never been disappointed! These guys always provide the best fabrics at great prices, and I especially love that they do samples which allows me to make sure I get the right fabric

Excellent service and range of products. Customer service was very good and the staff were kind and helpful to my parents who I sent with a list of supplies to get.

I visited this shop for the first time about a month ago when I took up sewing as a new hobby. As a beginner, I was very overwhelmed at first. The staff were friendly, non-judgemental, patient, and knowledgable. They answered my (multiple) questions and gave me suggestions for a few different projects.

I've been back a couple of times recently and the shop has been busier - lots of people making masks. They are diligently adhering to social distancing and store capacity guidelines with respect and kindness.

Could not recommend this store highly enough.

Fantastic selection of fabrics: heeeeaaappps of good quilting fabrics, calicos, and a very good variety of apparel fabric too. They get a lot of factory remnants, so it's good to go in to see what they have because it's always something different. Very solid stock service as well, and a nice but small selection of notions. I purchased lengths of white muslin for my wedding table runners in November. Long story short, Aust Post delivered my order to the wrong address - my order showed up 1 week later. The Remnant Warehouse team were helpful with prompt and informative communications the whole time. Great customer service!

I absolutely love and recommend this place to everyone! They have the most beautiful selection of printed cotton as well as vintage and remnant fabrics! Customers service is good and everyone there knows about fabrics and sewing.

The staff here are always so lovely and helpful! I enjoy visiting here so much more compared to other stores like lincraft or spotlight. I actually feel like I am valued as a customer, and they take their time to try and find the best fabric for you! The prices are also great and they have a loyalty program too! I 100% recommend visiting this lovely shop! Love the staff here, they’re so nice and sweet!

My sewing lady asked me to buy good quality woven elastic for my canvas outdoor setting covers that she was renovating for me. After looking online for pricing, Spotlight & Lincraft were so expensive for 14m & I came across this most amazing outfit in Sydney. They supply great quality at great prices, they ship it quickly & you get the Director & other staff that answer your enquiries even on a Sunday PM! Happy days! Forget Spotlight & Lincraft, I have now found my go to haberdashery supplier. The elastic supplied was that good, my sewing lady asked me to order a further 20 m for her! Greatful thanks TRW team! Been ordering fabric from these guys for years, and it's now pretty much my go to for supplies. Always great quality fabric, exactly as described. They obviously dispatch on the same day as an order is placed, because shipping is always speedy. Great value for money, especially when ordering in bulk.

I have been considering ordering from this site for a while and I am glad I did. The descriptions are accurate and the sample service is useful.
Shipping was super fast and all the fabrics were of good quality.
One material had a fault but extra length was provided to compensate.
It is an affordable way to get some hard to source items.

I ordered samples from this warehouse for a presentation board. They were quick with delivery, however, the samples are useless as there isn't enough fabric to display in a professional manner. Sadly, I'm disappointed and should have investigated further. The samples are cut as a thin strip and look like scraps.

Always happy to go here, I always find fabric I need for my project and at very good prices. The staff are always very friendly and very helpful.

Genuinely nice people, great selection of fabric. Some items are more expensive than spotlight but overall a lot of good buys. Hope they are around for many more years, such a lovely little local gem.

Omg the customer service here is outstanding - the lady helped me so much selecting the right fabrics, trims and interfacing - and I needed all the help I could get because I haven’t sewn in fifteen years. I’m just gobsmacked, having lived in Sydney for ten years now I kind of expect abrupt rudeness at most places, everyone was lovely, the store layout was easy to get around, I’ll definitely be back again.
