This is an old school so for fabrics and associated items. Yarns, wool, elastics etc. It isn't huge but does have some quirky fabrics you won't find in Spotlight

The service was so excellent and detail oriented, i came in with a specific vision and a wonderful employee helped me pick out a fabric that would best suit my needs.not only that, she gave me solid advice on some of my concerns on how to proceed! So friendly and made me feel so welcomed, not at all anxious, coupled with the wide range of beautiful fabrics to choose from.i was a happy camper after my visit today:)

Had to shop for a range of fabric types for an upcoming project. Remnant Warehouse is undoubtedly the nicest fabric place to shop. A good range of Australian designers fabric at a very reasonable price. Joe and Team knows exactly what we need and the shopping process was seamless from selection, payment to even transporting to our car. Before we even asked any question, the team is already on it. Joe is very patient and knowledgeable to share the range and fabric types and explain the options so carefully. I must say I was a bit anxious initially as I am unsure what to get, but got rather confident after shopping with Joe. I think this is a great place for any businesses/ individuals who love a good range of quality fabrics and want to support local business, sustainability and zero waste.

Ordering fabrics from afar is not easy. Jojo has been super helpful in finding all the fabrics I was looking for! They have a beautiful selection at great prices. Hopefully I get to visit one day

Of the several times that I have been there the service was great except last time I went when I bought 20 meters of fabric. Asking the lady named Beth to help me cut them which she declined. That was fine until I asked if there were 10 meters and she became very rude and said “ Do you want me to measure all these again? ! ” I was taken aback by her rudeness and finally when after check out she would not even give me a plastic bag to put all the fabric I just bought. Until I pointed out I was given a plastic bag just the Friday before with a very nice lady. She reluctantly proceed to grasp a bag and warned me to bring along a “clean shopping bag” so as to not use their bags. I was absolutely disappointed given my previous experience with the shop was stellar. So if you can avoid this salesperson called Beth.

Amazing service and a good amount of different fabrics. I do a lot of shopping for my creations and design.

Went in for just a few metres of elastic they could not have helped me enough showed me all sorts/sizes styles made my visit very interesting Excellent staff polite caring as I am in a wheel chair will defiantly go back for more items.

HUGE selections of fabrics, zippers, ribbons, buttons and more. Which made my wife really happy. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Terrible customer service in store. Because only 5 people can go in at once even though the shop has sufficient space for 20. Disappointed with the wait lines caused from this.

I’ve ordered from this lovely shop 2 or 3 times now since the ACT went into its most recent lockdown. The orders were packed so neatly and I loved the card included that let me know who packed my order. Fabric and various other bits and bobs were in great condition. You can really tell how much the staff care for their customers.

Really good detailed listings - I really like the ones with the videos so that you can see how the fabric behaves. I placed an order about 10am today and asked if it would be possible to pick up before the weekend so I could sew and they made the effort to get my order together in just a few hours:) Everything was folded really nicely and the little fiddly bits were tied up neatly in a bag - and it was all exactly as I expected - I've definitely bought fabrics online before and had a bit of a surprise when I actually get it but this was great - everything as described. Thankyou!

Recently purchased some fusible interfacing and went to use it only to find that the adhesive was old and would not fuse to the fabric I was working on.

It's perfect, just what I need and came really fast. I want to make a skirt raincoat - for those days when I want to wear a long skirt, but it's raining - and the raincoat fabric is light, excellent quality and came very fast here to WA.

After 2 orders with these guys, I could not be happier. My most recent order has arrived in Victoria in less than a week thanks to them shipping it out the same day I bought it. It's exactly what I wanted, and was able to select from their huge online range with accuracy due to their detailed description of drape, weight and stretch for nearly every single fabric.

With my first order, I got some extra fabric for free because it was so close to the end of the roll. Spotlight and Lincraft never do this!

I love the customer service and care that Remnant Warehouse put in. Together with their incredible stock and easy to use website, I think I'll have to cross everything off my wishlist soon!

My mom and I went to the store on 1/Apr/2021, and it is an unpleasant experience for us. To be fair, the quality of linen is adequate. But the staff service is unsatisfactory. We told the lady staff that we would like 10 meters of the linen. She confirmed twice with both of us before cut, and she cut a 3 meters piece. When I told her that we want 10 meters, she replied "you said 3 meters" in order to shirk the blame to us.

She said either we can take another 10 meters piece together with the 3 meters piece, or we can take another 7 meters piece. As we need an entire 10 meters piece, we chose option one. So we purchase 13 meters in total. We paid the extra 3 meters piece because of her mistake.

Let me be clear, what upset us the most is not that we have to pay extra (it is not like we are unable to afford the mistakenly cut 3 meters piece). It is her attitude of shirking blame. The lady staff give us a frequent buyer coupon, but I don't think we will shop there again.

I do advise the business owner to train staff to be more professional in works.
